THIS MINISTRY DOES NOT ASK FOR or ACCEPT DONATIONS, we live to be the good neighbor Jesus told about, not seeking anything other than to help others in need, so if you want to bless others pass on what you learn here, find a person who is hungry and feed them, without clothes and cloth them, without shelter and give them shelter, we do this and have found that it is not just a blesssing but an awesome way for them to ask why and that opens the door to share. People do not care how much you know or who you know until they know how much you care.

Bible Study: What is God About?
  • Jesus told us that the two commandments that all of the law and prophets (teachers (teaching)) hands on is Love:

Matthew 22:36 Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?

Matthew 22:37 And he said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and

with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Matthew 22:38 This is the great and first commandment.

Matthew 22:39 And a second like [unto it] is this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

Matthew 22:40 On these two commandments the whole law hangeth, and the prophets

What do we get for believing in God and seeking after God?

All of His promises, first and foremost is life eternal with Him on the new earth (as described in Revelation).

His Love,, His Forgiveness, His Peace (the type that takes you through any storm) His Faith (confidence), His Knowledge, His Wisdom, His Spirit.

Imagine having a man who is the richest in the world, can give you anything in the world, but most of all he wants to adopt you, love you as his own and treat you as his very own child.

That is what God wants to do with us.

    How?

That is easy, this is where so many make a mountain out of a ant hill.

Matthew 10:32 Every one therefore who shall confess me before men, him will I also confess

before my Father who is in heaven.

Yes there is more but it is dealing with your faith (confidence) so no one can ever rock your belief in Jesus or God.

Basically what happened was Satan got via Eve, Adam to eat of the one thing he should not which disconnected Adam and all who followed from God.

A better way to understand this is, there was a bridge between Adam and God and Adam due to what he did destroyed the bridge. God not being a man so he can not lie or even go back on His word had to build a new bridge for all mankind.

Some may be thinking "but I did not do this so why am I in this spot" it is something we inherit from our biological fathers in the seed that is the problem.

So God in His wisdom figured a way to send Jesus into the world and build a new and different bridge.

All we have to do is accept Jesus, why do we have to accept Jesus, because He is that new bridge and without Him there is no way to God any longer.

What you will discover when you seek God, after you truly believe in Jesus, accept Him you will start to be fed by the Holy Spirit, and in time God goes from being that rich business owner you call by MR. Doe (or in this case God) to father ( or with God, Father).

And as time goes on you will learn to call your heavenly Father Abba as Jesus did and others do which means Daddy.

So you have two choices follow after Love the one true Love as God can offer, love of God and your neighbor or follow after the love this world offers which is of things that are not forever but temporary. Material things, physical love, addictions, idols, etc.

There are two paths Jesus told us about one to live and one to destruction:

Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in by the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that

leadeth to destruction, and many are they that enter in thereby.

Matthew 7:14 For narrow is the gate, and straitened the way, that leadeth unto life, and few are

    they that find it.

Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are

    ravening wolves.

One to destruction is led by false prophets (teachers, preachers, etc) that appear to be of the Lord but are not, they are of the world and the world system.

Which is what got us in this mess in the first place or should I say got Adam in trouble and us in this mess:

Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which Jehovah God had

made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of any tree of the garden?

Genesis 3:2 And the woman said unto the serpent, Of the fruit of the trees of the garden we may

    eat:

Genesis 3:3 but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall

not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

Genesis 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

Notice how Eve add they could not even touch the fruit, that is not what God said and God never told Eve she would die only Adam so Satan used what he knew to be true and a lie and let it work against them mislead them. Just as false teachers do today, just enough of the lie to change the truth but plenty on the truth to confuse you.

Genesis 2:17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the

day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Notice God did not say to Adam; "you and your spouse" or "you and your dependants" or even "you and anyone else" God directed not to eat of this tree only to Adam, and never a word about touching it just do not eat it.

Satan using fear and lies to manipulate, mislead us he comes to steal our hope, kill our faith and destroy our salvation(John 10:10) so we are in fear only and lost to God.

Faith is the only way we can accept Jesus, it is our confidence in the word, in God, and in the next life that drives us to seek God.

Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to be well-pleasing [unto him]; for he that cometh

to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that seek after him.

So as long as we have confidence (faith), stay in the word and believe it over what the world says, our confidence will grow.

Romans 10:17 So faith [cometh] of hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

Read, listen and believe and you will grow not only in your confidence but also in peace.

Hebrews 10:35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward.

Hebrews 10:36 For ye have need of patience, that, having done the will of God, ye may receive the

    promise.

The will of God is to Love, John 3:16 "For God so loved the world" Matthew 22:36-40 Love God and Love your Neighbor.

If you Love as God Loves you will not steal, kill, destroy, break any commandments of the law or any of the law at all.

Bible Study: Sin

Sin is what separates us from God, it is that which when done is not of God but of the world and cuts us off from God.

To help you better understand sin, I will use terms used in this life.

Sin takes us deeper and deeper into the darkness (evil) and out of the light (goodness).

Sin can become like an addiction, that is hard to overcome.
But in the beginning sin can be overcome easily. The problem is to overcome sin you must first know what sin is to overcome it.

Before we continue understand that people are inherently good that can do evil. And the more evil one does the more they become of the evil.

Just because one fixes a plumping problem does not mean they are a plumper. Just because one commits a sin does not mean they are a sinner.

But the more a person learns plumping the closer they become to being a plumper. The same is true with sin, the more one does sin the closer they become to being a sinner.

Now there is two types of sin, the one the world calls sin and the true sin which cuts us off from God.

The world will try to confuse us about God, good, evil, and sin. The world will use the true laced with the lie to make us believe but to mislead us.

Prophets in verse 15 above are teachers, they are prophetic, and they are either of God or Satan. Many are mislead themselves the rest are just evil.

Examples of the most apparent false prophets of the past is Jim Jones and David Koresch.

The problem with those who mislead is they believe they are teachers and they are mislead by mans doctrine.

Imagine your child lies to you, this is a sin against you, and is done to pervert the truth, but you do not hate the child you may hate the act, but not the child. So what you do is you teach the child why it is wrong and show them love and forgiveness so they understand they can trust and love you so instead of lying to you they tell you the truth.

But if the child instead continues to lie eventually the child will grow up and not know the truth from a lie and no longer be that child you loved but be something you do not even recognize.  Sin is like this, it starts with something small that can be continued easily and lead to worse or overcome. The problem is we a lot of times do not recognize when we sin until it is too late. The Spirit will try to convict us of the error of our ways so we can repent and stay on the narrow path. But the world will continue to try to get us into areas we do not belong to tempt us with sin to lead us astray.

2 Corinthians 10:5 casting down imaginations, and every high thing that is exalted against the

knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ;

Cast down all thoughts (imaginations are thoughts that have grown into imaginations) that are not of God, or of the knowledge of God, and taking what remains into the captivity of the obedience of the Spirit. Christ is of the Greek word Christos which means anointing and in Luke 4:18 Jesus states He is anointed with the Spirit, so the anointing is the Spirit.

Once we learn God's word we can do this, but first we must learn His word not of man but of His Spirit.

John 14:26 But the Comforter, [even] the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he

shall teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said unto you.

We learn by the Spirit(anointing) not by man.

1 John 2:27 And as for you, the anointing which ye received of him abideth in you, and ye need

not that anyone teach you; but as his anointing teacheth you; concerning all things, and is true, and

is no lie, and even as it taught you, ye abide in him.

Remember the word is Jesus:

John 1:14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of

the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth.

Jesus is the way and the only true way to God, as Adam sinned that cost all mankind, Jesus paid the price for all mankind and only through Him can we find the Spirit and God.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the

Father, but by me.

So we seek God, but to get to God we first need to know Jesus, and through and via Jesus we are connected to God via the Spirit.

Revelation 3:19 As many as I love, I reprove and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

Jesus in Revelation 3:19 said "as many as I love" how many, in John 3:16 we are told "all", next Jesus "I reprove" this is to show the errors of our ways as a loving parent would do with a child that is doing something that can lead them to harm. And then He said "and chasten" or to teach, lead us to a new way so we are not led to harm, and then we would "be zealous therefore" meaning have a new heart towards God, man, all, "and repent" to do a 180 degree change in our life and honestly try not to sin again.

So let's look at verse 19 Jesus loves us all, He will convict us of the errors of our ways, teach us a new way, we will have a new heart and we will not remain on the same path we were on.

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the

door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Jesus is at the door knocking wanting to come in and until we listen for Him, take the time and patience needed so we can hear from Him we will not hear as well as we should and we will always wonder is it the world or the Lord we are hearing from.

Romans 10:17 So faith [cometh] of hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

Faith comes of hearing and hearing by the word (Jesus) of the Spirit.

How do we know we are of God and hearing from God.

Romans 8:16 The Spirit himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are children of God:

So when we are of the Spirit God will reveal to us we are His children and we will have no doubt.

What is the will of God? Love is His will look at what Jesus said that all the law and the prophets rest on:

Matthew 22:36 Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?

Matthew 22:37 And he said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and

with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Matthew 22:38 This is the great and first commandment.

Matthew 22:39 And a second like [unto it] is this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

Matthew 22:40 On these two commandments the whole law hangeth, and the prophets.

So if you seek God, then you seek His Love, and if you have patience, read His word asking for His help, He will reveal Himself in His word, and His word will be revealed to you. But if you read His word without Him you will only get as the world has gotten the natural side of His word and not the supernatural side. And what is anything when it is only half, it is not whole and it cannot be complete in you.

This is how so much of the world has been mislead, reading His word and getting a worldly understanding, not one of God.
The truth is not of man, but of God, and can only be found in God.

Sin is just a problem we have to overcome as an addict needs to stop the drug early or even better never take it, the longer the addict takes the drug the harder it is to overcome. The longer we sin the harder it is to overcome. As soon as we have God showing us the errors in our ways the sooner we can overcome.

Warning Satan and the world will use sin against you, try to convince you, that you are unforgiveable. But the only unforgivable sin is blaspheming the Holy Spirit and why this is the only unforgivable sin is because anyone of the Holy Spirit would never blaspheme the Holy Spirit and only those of the Holy Spirit can be forgiven.

So remember God is your heavenly Father and He loves you and like with any Father He wants the same, respect, love, for us to seek Him for advice to be relevant in our life.

Sin is not a deal breaker it is just a road block or a speed bump to us getting closer to our heavenly Father.

God is ready to forgive and if you think you sin to much understand He forgives more than you can sin. Just do not sin to test His forgiveness because then you are of the world. But if you are trying to change then know He is there to work with you and to forgive you.

Do not let sin keep you down.

Bible Study: The Law is Complete in Faith

Before Jesus there was no spiritual connection.

So, God set forth the law knowing that man was weak in faith.

So the law became faith, as they followed the law they were saying they believed in God and believed in His promises.

Romans 3:22 even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ unto all them that believe; for there is no distinction;

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;

Romans 3:24 being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Romans 3:25 whom God set forth [to be] a propitiation, through faith, in his blood, to show his righteousness because of the passing over of the sins done aforetime, in the forbearance of God;

Romans 3:26 for the showing, [I say], of his righteousness at this present season: that he might himself be just, and the justifier of him that hath faith in Jesus.

Romans 3:27 Where then is the glorying? It is excluded. By what manner of law? of works? Nay: but by a law of faith.

What we have to have to be saved, for the blessings and promises is faith. Faith is your confidence in God.

Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to be well-pleasing [unto him]; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that seek after him.

Romans 5:1 Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus

Christ;

Romans 5:2 through whom also we have had our access by faith into this grace wherein we stand; and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law unto righteousness to every one that believeth.

Romans 10:5 For Moses writeth that the man that doeth the righteousness which is of the law shall live thereby.

Romans 10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith saith thus, Say not in thy heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down:)

Romans 10:7 or, Who shall descend into the abyss? (That is, to bring Christ up from the dead.)

Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach:

Romans 10:9 because if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus [as] Lord, and shalt believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved:

DONOT BELIEVE WHAT THE WORLD SHOWS YOU, BELIEVE ONLY WHAT GOD PROMISES.

Matthew 14:25 And in the fourth watch of the night he came unto them, walking upon the sea.

Matthew 14:26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a ghost; and they cried out for fear.

Matthew 14:27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.

Matthew 14:28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto the upon the waters.

Matthew 14:29 And he said, Come. And Peter went down from the boat, and walked upon the waters to come to Jesus.

Matthew 14:30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, Lord, save me.

Matthew 14:31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and took hold of him, and saith unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

Matthew 14:32 And when they were gone up into the boat, the wind ceased.

Children of Israel had no connection to God via the Spirit as we do, do to what Jesus did for us on the cross. So God gave Israel the law to help them to the day they could receive the faith as well as grow their desire for faith.

2 Corinthians 10:5 casting down imaginations, and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ;

Romans 4:14 For if they that are of the law are heirs, faith is made void, and the promise is made of none effect:

Hebrews 10:35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward.

Hebrews 10:36 For ye have need of patience, that, having done the will of God, ye may receive the promise.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is assurance of [things] hoped for, a conviction of things not seen.

Now Confidence is (your) assurance of  (things) expected for, a conviction of things not seen.

Romans 10:17 So faith [cometh] of hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

So faith (comes) by hearing, and hearing by the word (Jesus (John 1:14)) of Christ.

Bible Study: Deception the Fall of Mankind

Satan, the devil, the evil one, morning star, accuser, is just a few of the names of our enemy.  He is a deceiver and this is the one area he gets the most of us stumbling even to the point of destruction. Deceiver, Deceit means to take the truth and pervert it to the deception at hand. The problem is most believe Satan is recruiting or wants us as his own, and that is not true at all. Satan does not want us; he just does not want us to know the truth. Satan wants us to believe in anything and everything that goes against God, the knowledge of God or the belief in God.

Satan’s best tool is deception he will use religion, science, anything and everything of the world to get us to believe in ourselves, others anything other than God. His biggest lie is God and he does not exist.

For those who do not believe for sake of argument let’s agree if there is a God and Satan, Satan’s biggest job would be to deceive us and keep us from the truth which is what God is.

Here is where the problem comes in we believe we know so much, we hear from others in science, media, etc believing what we hear as truth because it works in the world as we know it and this can and for the most part leads us into the deception.

To understand better how the deception is played on us let’s look at the first deception:

Gen 3:1  Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

Gen 3:2  And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

Gen 3:3  But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

Gen 3:4  And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

Gen 3:5  For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Gen 3:6  And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Gen 3:7  And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

Notice in verse 3 Eve says the cannot eat or touch the fruit.

Gen 2:17  But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

But God never said anything about touching just that they could not eat.

So when in Genesis 3:4 that she would not die, he was using deception he knew God never said they could not touch.

Also God is always specific if God meant Adam and Eve , Adam and anyone else in Genesis 2:17 God would have said in the day you and/or Eve, or you and/or your decedants eat but God said Adam and that Adam shall surely die. Of course that would mean all of Adam, which Eve being of Adam’s rib is part of Eve. But Eve was never told she could not eat, this is why the serpent did not question Adam but instead questioned Eve. He knew since she believed if they touched they would die, if he got her to touch and nothing happened she would eat. And then she would get Adam to eat.

So why did Adam eat?

Who added do not touch, this is not what God said so that leaves Adam, and since he is already altering what he was told he is already under deception, the deception that Eve had to be told don’t eat, no don’t even touch or we die.

So the deception is subtle and we fall for it due to the flesh and the world.

In the following verse where is the deception:

Job 1:8  And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

In the Hebrew the above verse is “And the lord said unto Satan, what is in your heart against my servant Job whom there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?”

In 1612 AD in England when the King James was released it was read the same either way but in the almost 400 years since the English language has changed enough that now it is seen as God pointing out Job to Satan, so Satan will test Job which is a deception due to the English Language. When in actuality God was questioning Satan and defending Job.

So why was Job put through what he went through?

Job 3:25  For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.

Job feared and allowed fear to replace his faith which was the hedge around him and allowed Satan in.

What if I said the following is all you need:

Mat 22:37  Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Mat 22:38  This is the first and great commandment.

Mat 22:39  And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Mat 22:40  On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Based on the above 4 verses taken out of text and used on their own only it would give one the impression that by love of God and neighbor we can do all of the law and be saved. But when you read verse 36 and you realize Jesus is answering what is the greatest commandment it does change the purpose of the statement but it still can mislead. So what is the truth, what saves us? Jesus of course:

Mat 10:32  Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

Mat 10:33  But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

So is that all there is to it, we confess Jesus before man, love God and our neighbors and are saved? No

Joh 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Rom 10:9  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

The problem is that most want something they can do to be saved an actual task or law to follow, but the truth is there is no task or law that will save.

Heb 11:6  But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

It is by faith we are saved, and faith only comes from overcoming the deceptions of the world and the flesh and fear. Remember Job was fine until he feared. Today many fear losing their jobs, their homes, all they have, and in doing so may end up in what they fear because of their lack of faith. But the truth is, what would they lose, they could not in time replace and what would they lose that will mater in 100 years. But in their fear they can lose what will mater in 100 years what they cannot get back due to fear.

So we are deceived and fall into fear.

Let’s look at the deception that leads Job into fear that allowed Satan to mess with him.

Job 1:5  And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.

Job feared for his children, but instead of addressing them and getting them to repent if they had sinned, he fell into fear.

Our battle is in our mind, what believe what we dwell on, what we cast down.

2Co 10:5  Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

So we believe Jesus died and was raised and ascended and we are saved as we profess Him,  but if we believe we must love not just God but all. And to do so we must cast down all knowledge, all thoughts that do not work in God’s knowledge (love) and what we do keep that is in the love we take into captivity and what does it mean to be captive, limited, and limited  based on the obedience of Christ.

Bible Study: Fear VS Faith

First of all what is Faith?

Faith is your confidence. No matter if it is faith in something of the world or the word.

There is a natural faith and a supernatural faith, many confuse the two and fail.

Because faith in the natural is like riding a rollercoaster, faith in the natural only has your confidence in the natural to build on, and many things in the natural can come along to bring doubt and fear to kill faith in the natural.

Faith in supernatural has the word to grow it, between the word and patience supernatural faith is constantly going up instead of riding a rollercoaster it is like climbing a mountain always going up.

Hebrews 10:35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward.

Hebrews 10:36 For ye have need of patience, that, having done the will of God, ye may receive the

promise.

Hebrews 11

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is assurance of [things] hoped for, a conviction of things not seen.

Faith is your confidence of things expected and conviction of that which is not seen to be true and real.

Such as the promise of the next life, the assurance of salvation and life everlasting.

Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to be well-pleasing [unto him]; for he that cometh

to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that seek after him.

Fear is that which is the opposite of faith as dark is opposite of light.

When you have faith in something you  are doing and doubt enters fear follows and then you fail.
But when you have faith  and you cast down doubt as it tries to enter then fear has no way in.

But if you have doubted and fear is trying to enter you can still cast down fear and operate in faith.

Why so many fail in the world is because they doubt and fall into fear and then they give up.

Fear and dark are alike they both bring depression, doubt, and failure, fear keeps us from growing, from trying, from succeeding.

Where faith keeps us secure and confident, fear is doubt and makes us  insecure.

This study of Genesis is to help you understand how fear is your #1 enemy in life.

Genesis 2:15 And Jehovah God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

Genesis 2:16 And Jehovah God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

Genesis 2:17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

God is always specific about His commands, above God told Adam he could not eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Genesis 3

Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which Jehovah God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of any tree of the garden?

Genesis 3:2 And the woman said unto the serpent, Of the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat:

Genesis 3:3 but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

Genesis 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

Genesis 3:5 for God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as God, knowing good and evil.

Notice how Eve added to what God told Adam about the tree of knowledge of good and evil. She stated they could not touch nor eat.

God never said they could not touch only not to eat of the tree.

So who added the extra, the only one who could is Adam and he did it out of fear, he told Eve something like "we cannot eat, no we cannot even touch".

And why would it be added? Think of a parent with a child how they will add to what they tell them out of fear of the child getting hurt. IE: "Do not go in the street, no do not even go close to the street"

Genesis 3:9 And Jehovah God called unto the man, and said unto him, Where art thou?

Genesis 3:10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

Genesis 3:11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree,

whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

Genesis 3:12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.

God did give both Adam and Eve a chance to repent but instead they passed the buck. If they had been operating in faith not fear they would have never ate of the fruit and at least they would have repented.

Fear replaces faith as faith can replace fear.

So we are either of fear or we are of faith.

If Adam had operated in faith not fear he never would have added to what God said and had faith that what God said was enough, but instead Adam fell into fear. And when Adam entered into fear he allowed Satan to enter. Adam placed fear not faith into Eve by his comments  When Adam told Eve that she could not eat or touch he got her into fear over touching and as soon as she touched she then knew she could eat because she was told when she touched the tree she would die.
Fear allowed Satan to enter, Satan knew once he got Eve to touch she would eat since it was not touching  that they could not do.

Still not sure about fear how about Job?

Job 3:25 For the thing which I fear cometh upon me, And that which I am afraid of cometh unto

me.

Job feared his children were sinning and not sacrificing so Job did sacrifices for them and this fear opened the door for Satan to come in and mess with Job.

Job 1:5 And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified

them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt-offerings according to the number of

them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and renounced God in their hearts. Thus

did Job continually.

Job was one of the most upright and perfect men of his day, but even for him fear allowed Satan to mess with him.

Job 1:8 And Jehovah said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job? for there is none like

him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and turneth away from evil.

The above verse translated today would read "What is in your heart against my servant Job" which is the same as "Hast though considered my servant Job?" God was not pointing Job out to Satan to test but question Satan what Satan had in his heart against Job. And God had no choice but to let Satan do what he was going to do because Job was no longer operating in faith but in fear.

Romans 1:17 For therein is revealed a righteousness of God from faith unto faith: as it is written,

But the righteous shall live by faith.

Bible Study: Basics

Salvation
John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

Matthew 10:32 "Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven."
33 "But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven." (Also read Romans 10:9-10)

John 14:26 "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." (Also read I John 2:27)

False Teachers, Prophets, Leaders
Matthew 7:13 "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:"
Matthew 7:14 "Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."
Matthew 7:15 "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves."

Matthew 24:23 "Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not."
Matthew 24:24 "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."

Anti christ
1 John 4:1 "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world."
1 John 4:2 "Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:"
1 John 4:3 "And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world."

Revelation 3:19 "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent."

"As many as I love" based on John 3:16 that is everyone, "I rebuke" that means the spirit (directly or in-directly through subconscious) convicts us of the errors of our ways. This may take some a short while, while others it may take their entire life, for me it was 23 years. "and chasten" meaning to educate to a new way of living, "be zealous therefore" to have a new heart towards the Lord. "and repent" means to do a 180 from where we were before. So the Lord will convict us of the errors of our ways, educate us to a new way, help us develop a new understanding about Him and turn us 180 so we are no longer on the wide path to destruction. Notice He does not say man will do this, but that He will.

Revelation 3:20 "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me."
Those who slow down, stop, and smell the roses are the ones who will first hear His voice the rest will be tied up with so much of this world that we will be to busy to hear. And no an hour here and there is not enough.

Revelation 3:21 "To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne."
Revelation 3:22 "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches."

To follow on this page are the basics such as:
1. The only way to God is through Jesus, that He died for us and by believing in His death and resurrection and saying with our mouth that He is Lord we are saved.
2. The two main commandments that everything rests, all of the law and prophets is love God and love each other..

Bible Study: Hearing From God
The first thing we must learn is how to hear from God. In Romans 8:16 it says that we are the children of God . And Romans 8:16 says we know that because the Spirit (God's Spirit) itself testifies to our spirit. So how do we hear this inner voice. First we are told we live by faith. And faith is trusting in and having confidence in God. So how do we get faith, Romans 10:17 says faith comes by hearing (what ever you spend your time listening to is what you have faith in, be it man or God). And hearing by the word of God, so the more we HEAR the word of God the more our faith comes. And the more our faith comes the easier it is to hear that inner voice from God. Now this does not mean just reading the Bible but HEARING the Bible and how you do that is reading out loud so you can hear it. And then taking each passage and savoring it like it was a bite of food. Which it is, until it gets down in your spirit. And as time goes on, this becomes easier. And as you hear the more you will get. Read Mark 4:11-25 . When Jesus was talking about sowing the word and those who heard and understood more would be given, is you if you will take the time and read, listen and savior every bite. Start by reading a chapter in the morning, about noon and at night. This will only take about 20 - 50 minutes a day. A very small price to pay for joy, peace, love and this is just the beginning of what you will receive.

Now if you want you can copy this page to your system and have it to review. What I recomend reading is Mark 4:11-25 , Romans chapter 8 and 10 for now.

John 14

26. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Faith is believing without doubt, and faith comes by hearing the word (Romans 10:17, 8:16) I pray to the Father that each and every one of you will receive revelation knowledge in what you have heard and grow in spiritual awareness, Amen.

My prayer for you is:

3 John 1

2. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth

Remember to show faith when you pray, then praise and give thanks.

God Bless You as you hear His words and follow His leading.

A few additional verses about hearing:

Genesis 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

Genesis 3:10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I [was] naked; and I hid myself.

Genesis 3:17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast heMarkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I comanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed [is] the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat [of] it all the days of thy life;

So who's voice are you listening to?

Isaiah 6:3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, [is] the LORD of hosts: the whole earth [is] full of his glory.

Isaiah 6:4 And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.

Isaiah 6:5 Then said I, Woe [is] me! for I am undone; because I [am] a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.

Isaiah 6:6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, [which] he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:

Isaiah 6:7 And he laid [it] upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.

Isaiah 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here [am] I; send me.

Isaiah 6:9 And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

Our mouth, as James puts it, is our number one enemy.

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

So out of our heart (spirit) comes what we will speak. So, if we speak trash, doubt, and unbelief, our spirit is full of the same. But if we speak good, the word of God, then our spirit is full of good and the word of God.

How do we get our spirit full of the word of God?

Romans 10:17 So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Faith, (trust in, reliance on and confidence in Christ (The Anointed) for our salvation) comes by hearing. Read Mark 4, you'll find out that there are those with ears to hear (listen), and those with ears to hear (understand).

Understanding comes by the Spirit of God;

1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

John 14:26 But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

So we see by the above verses we are to hear from God, and by His Spirit we get understanding.

8. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9. Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Gift of Love

John 3

16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

God is Love, He loves you and me and that is what life is really about.

Matthew 22

 36.  Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

 37.  Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

 38.  This is the first and great commandment.

 39.  And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

 40.  On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Love thy Neighbour

Luke 10

 29.  But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?

 30.  And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.

 31.  And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.

 32.  And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.

 33.  But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,

 34.  And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

 35.  And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.

 36.  Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?

 37.  And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

Faith Comes by Hearing (Romans 10:17)

John 14

26. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Prayer Rock
(Author Unknown)

I'm your little prayer rock and this is what I'll do.
Just put me on your pillow 'til the day is through.

Then turn back the covers and climb into your bed, and, whack! your little prayer rock will bump you on the head.

Then you will remember as the day is through, to kneel and say your prayers as you intended to.

Then when you are finished dump me on the floor.
I'll stay there through the nighttime to give you help once more.

When you get up next morning, clunk! I stub your toe, so that you will remember your prayers before you go.

Put me back upon your pillow when your bed is made, and your clever little prayer rock will continue in your aid.

Because your Heavenly Father cares and loves you so, He wants you to remember to talk to Him, you know.
Adam
