Isaiah 53
1. Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?
2. For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
3. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
How many today have gone astray? Every where I look I see it; I see those who no longer believe or never did because of the times we are in, the violence, sex, drugs, deceit and lies of those of the world.
How many will believe Him and be saved? Based on His own words in Matthew 7, Mark 4, and Revelation 2-3 few will.
John 3
3. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
5. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
It is time that we all put this world and its ways behind us and start to believe.
John 14
6. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
How many will believe for a short time and fall away? They watch movies about Him and for the moment mourn Him for what He did for us, but instead of being committed to change, they revert back to the ways of the world.
John 14.
26. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Those who know my teachings and me know my heart is for the Lord; I am not perfect; and I have ways that need to change as well. But first one must admit that they need to change, what they need to change, and seek Him for His help and guidance.
Revelation 3
19. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
20. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
21. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
22. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Some say we are in the end days and others that we may even be in tribulation, but I say that before tribulation starts there must be a falling away from the truth for tribulation to start. It is not God or Satan that starts tribulation. It is man and the way man departs from the truth to accept the deception and lies of the world.
2 Thessalonians 2
3. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
The expression falling away above in Greek means a defection from the truth. It is when those who know or are close to the truth do a 180° turn away from it.
Of course we have all fallen short of His grace but His love is so that no one has fallen far enough that they may not be saved. But in this day we live with all the technology that is available the lie is spreading faster than the truth and the ways of the world are growing more than His ways.
Beware that you are not one caught in the end on the wrong side. There is still time, not much but some, for you to repent and change.
Revelation 3
19. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
John 3
16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
As many as I love means everyone. He rebukes means is to convict of sin. Chasten means to help us see the error of our ways or educate so we will have a warm felling for His love and change our hearts.
Revelation 3
20. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
21. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
22. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Those who stay strong to the end will make it, but I would not want to be close to those who are misled or those who mislead when their time comes and there are many.
Many say that the church will be raptured before tribulation, but I say there is no way or else anyone left could know when Jesus’ return would be. It would be seven years to the minute from the rapture.
Matthew 24
50. The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
Fewer and fewer will be looking for His return in that day.
Matthew 24
36. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
No one will know His return but the Father. So if the rapture happened at the beginning of tribulation; and all know that He comes at the end; and that the tribulation is seven years; then anyone could put it together and know from the time of the rapture that seven years later He would return.
Matthew 24
12. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
As the times grow more and more evil and the love will grow cold. Man’s love for God and mankind will decrease the closer we get to the tribulation.
Matthew 24
29. Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30. And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
When great tribulation occurs it will be a test for mankind for good over evil. Those of good will stand their ground to their death knowing that Jesus had already conquered death for them.
While the majority will grow in evil over good because of the ways of the world little altercations grow into bigger conflicts. The day will come when the majority is evil and few are good.
The problem will become that everyone will be so wrapped up in this life that the next life no longer will matter to him or her. I say this life is nothing compared to the next. Jesus went through hour upon hour of torture, beatings, and abuse because He knew that at the end was the next life, the Father, and an eternity of love and peace.
We will not suffer because of the Father or the Son but because of man and the way mankind's love will wax cold. The Father never did anything to us; we did it to ourselves, and that is the way it will be till the end.
All one has to do is seek the Father to know the truth.
