Before you read this study understand that we do not teach, we share and then ask all who read the following take it to God and verify it with Him. We believe a lot of the world is misled by the church of the world and religion vs the one true church. And to know the truth can only come from knowing, not just knowing of God, John 14:26, I John 2:27, Rev 3:19-22.
Many are called but few are chosen because many are misled by false teachers Matthew 7:13-15 so we help all who wants to know the truth how to find and know the truth of and by God and not of and by man.

Born Again or Saved?

Pastor Jerry Wilhite, author

What you are about to read is available for all, that is all who have eyes to perceive and ears to understand.

Mark 4

11. And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:

12. That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

13. And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?

14. The sower soweth the word.

15. And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

The ones being talked about above are the lost. They are too busy to take the time to hear, too full of the world to realize how lost to what counts they are.

Mark 4

16. And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;

17. And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.

It reads "when affliction or persecution ariseth, for the word's sake, immediately they are offended" when it actually, from in the Greek it should be "when pressure comes or persecution through the message, immediately they are offended." In so many words they have not rooted in the word enough to resist the pressure and persecution.

Mark 4

18. And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,

19. And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

These are the ones that allow the modern distractions (TV, games, hobbies, sports, collecting, etc) the false promises of wealth, and lusts of other things to enter and choke the word out of them.

Mark 4

20. And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirty percent, some sixty, and some an hundred.

Finally the last group stands strong with deep roots in good ground and nothing can move them.

We are born again by the Son of God (John 3:16), into the community of Jesus (Matthew 16:15-18) by the spirit (Christ {Luke 4:18}), through faith by God's grace (Ephesians 2:8).

The problem is as long as we are of the physical we can not understand the Spiritual. As such we are not even sure if there is a Spiritual or if we can even be part of it. Altar calls are made all the time but they are the physical indication of what should be a Spiritual change.

Revelation 3

19. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

Who does He love? Everyone.

John 3

16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

He rebukes (admonishes) and chastens (to train up a child, i.e. educate, or discipline) or convicts us of our sin so we will repent and be zealous for Him. He will educate us so we will warm up to Him and think differently of Him.

Revelation

3:19 Those whom I [dearly and tenderly] love, I tell their faults and convict and convince and reprove and chasten [I discipline and instruct them]. So be enthusiastic and in earnest and burning with zeal and repent [changing your mind and attitude]. [Prov. 3:12.]

3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears and listens to and heeds My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will eat with him, and he [will eat] with Me.

3:21 He who overcomes (is victorious), I will grant him to sit beside Me on My throne, as I Myself overcame (was victorious) and sat down beside My Father on His throne.

3:22 He who is able to hear, let him listen to and heed what the [Holy] Spirit says to the assemblies (churches). (Amplified)

2 Corinthians 13

14 The grace (favor and spiritual blessing) of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the presence and fellowship (the communion and sharing together, and participation) in the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen (so be it).

In Rev 3:20 when he says, "come in and dine or eat," this is communion. We are to dine on His knowledge, His love, all He is, to show it to the world so all will know He is.

Communion is an intimate relationship with Him, one of partnership, a one on one exchange. As we become one on one with Him we also become one on one with others who are one on one with Him as well. We are united by His Spirit; we become one with Him and all others that are of the Spirit.

I Corinthians 10

16. The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion (partnership, i.e. {literally} participation) of the body of Christ? (KJV)

Strong's Ref. # 2842

Romanized koinonia

Pronounced koy-nohn-ee'-ah

from GSN2844; partnership, i.e. (literally) participation, or (social) intercourse, or (pecuniary) benefaction:

KJV--(to) communicate(-ation), communion, (contri-)distribution, fellowship.

Mark 14

22. And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body.

23. And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it.

24. And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.

25. Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.

Jesus said in Revelation 3:20 that He is at the door. That means He is waiting on us since He is knocking not coming on in. If any man hears His voice, that is straight forward and simple enough–if we HEAR HIS VOICE and open the door–we must open the door. He will come in to us and will come in to dine, which is to take part of as like a meal, He with us and we with Him. The word door is portal or entrance between Him and us. This not a physical but Spiritual event where we open ourselves to Him and allow Him to teach us (John 14:26).

By the Son we are born again (saved). Of course the Son is Jesus, not just by John 3:16, but also by all the reference verses of the Son of God and son of man we read about the Son. If the Son were not important then in Matthew 16 Jesus would not have stated it as He did.

To understand better we need to understand how we become part of the community of Jesus.

Matthew 16

15. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

16. And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

17. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

In verse 15 Jesus asked whom they said he was, and in verse 16 Peter responded "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God." So why was the Son so important? Because it tells us that He is the Son of the living God, that God is real, and He, as the Son, is also real. Also notice Jesus said, "flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven." So Peter had revealed to him by God whom Jesus was as the Son and the Christ and all that means and refers to. Revelation knowledge was needed in order to understand.

Matthew 16

18. And I say also unto thee, That thou art a piece of the rock (Peter (Petros)), and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Based on this revealed knowledge, Peter was a piece of the rock or part of the community. Jesus was building His community on the rock (revealed knowledge). Yes I know it says church but in Greek it means community. The problem is today church is too broad of a word for what Jesus was creating. It was a community comprised of only those who were of Him. The Father’s revealing who He was as the Son and the Christ brought the three into one, all in one verse.

Matthew 16

19. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

20. Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.

Why, in verse 20, did Jesus instruct them to tell no one?

Mark 4

Just telling them would give the head knowledge and seed in the heart with no root in self. The root comes from the Father.

God is God as long as we are not born again, but once we are born again we are His children and He is our Father.

Romans 8

16. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

The Spirit (God's Spirit) itself testifies to our spirit, that we are the children of God. So when we are born again (saved) we are connected in our spirit to His Spirit. That is just the beginning; we need to hear His voice and remove all the walls the lies that the world has placed in us over our years on this earth.

2 Corinthians 10

5. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

We must take all the thoughts that we have and hold them up to the light of the truth and if they are against the knowledge of God cast them down, while taking the rest into captivity to the obedience of Christ (power and Spirit).

Romans 12

2. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

We need to renew our minds daily in Him seeking to hear from Him to gain the revelation knowledge we need to grow.

John 14

26. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Realize that He will only reveal to us, teach us, that which we seek. He does not force; that is Satan and the world that forces. We must seek His thoughts and revelations:

Matthew 6

33. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

We do not have, or do not know because:

Matthew 7

7. Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

8. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

9. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?

10. Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?

11. If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Those who do not know to listen to and hear from God, then to seek His thoughts and revealed knowledge, and continue listening to man will be on the wrong (wide) path.

Matthew 7

13. Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14. Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

15. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Those who seek and find are the few on the path to life. The most that are on the path to destruction are there due to false prophets, which are also false leaders, teachers, preachers, etc.

Remember that man put in the chapter and verse numbers; the original writer did not. So if you read Matthew 6-7 as Matthew wrote it, it would be one long teaching, not broken up by verse and chapter numbers. In Matthew 6 Jesus taught on prayer, giving, fasting, and then He got into what all people want and need and that they could have it by first seeking the kingdom of God and his righteousness. If you had read 6-7, you would have learned that you must first forgive all to be forgiven, then judge no one, and then that you do not have because you have not asked. Then He talks about how most will follow man and not God, listen to man and not God, and be on the path to destruction. Then He gets to the reason for this.

Matthew 7

20. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

21. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Jesus addressed that we all will be known by our fruit and that there are those who will do wonderful works in His name and appear to all to be of God. Then He states that they are not of Him, they are workers of evil, and tells them to depart because HE NEVER KNEW THEM. Of course He knew of them, just as we know of the President, but we do not actually know Him. So in verse 20 when He says that by their fruit we shall know them, meaning we will be misled if we depend only on the fruit of labors Vs the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).

Revelation 3

20. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

21. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

22. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

For those of you who do not believe in hearing from God, or in being born again, or the baptism of the Spirit, you are in for a huge shock in the next life. In Revelation 2-3 Jesus describes the seven communities and only one is of Him. I would be very concerned about my salvation if I had not had it verified already by my Father in heaven. Based on Revelation 2-3 alone only one out of seven are of Him. That is not out of the entire world population; that is out of those who claim to be of Him. So if right now 2.1 Billion are claiming to be of Him only 300,000 actually are. If that is not enough to open your eyes, in Mark 4:1-20 He states out of those seeking to grow in Him only one of four will make it. Of course in Matthew 7 He states most are on the path to destruction and only a few are on the path to life.

When you hear God call you His child you know that you know and no one nor anything can ever steal it from you. Then those who continue to listen and seek revelation knowledge grow in Christ and can depend on the anointing.

Satan will do his best to keep anyone from being born again, but then if any are born again he does his best to keep them from growing. Each step of the way he will use any and all he can to slow down, stop, and reverse your growth. Read Mark 4:15-20 and notice how the first group can not even keep it. As soon as they get it, it is gone, but then the second group falls away (Satan stops them) because of affliction and persecution due to the word. This is when Satan uses any of those loved ones close to you that he can to persecute you. Then next Satan draws this group off with the deceitfulness of riches and lusts for other things. Finally whoever is left is in good ground and Satan loses them, but it is only one out of four. He got three out of four to fall away.

Hearing does not guarantee to anyone that they will not fall away. It just increases the chances of making it, while simultaneously increasing chances for attacks.

In each area you seek revelation from God about His word and life you will be set free in those areas as you learn the truth.

Mark 10

30. But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

Notice that Jesus tells them they will receive a hundred-fold what they lost due to Him or the gospel's sake as well as persecutions. A hundred-fold persecution, but that is not as bad as it sounds. It is mostly Satan’s trying to distract you from growing. That is what Jesus was talking about in Revelation 3:20-22. He is talking about those who overcome the lies, deceptions, and mostly the distractions.

God’s revelations are imparted to us from His Spirit, to our spirit. Those come up to our soul (mind, will, and emotions), and out of our mouth as rivers of living water.

You might be thinking, "But I am born again and I have the spirit connection, so why would that not work for me?" Because it must come from God in His Spirit, to your spirit, up to your soul and out your mouth, which means you have to be listening and actually hear from Him.

Based on what I stated a few paragraphs back only one of seven of you will even get a remote idea what I am talking about, or at best one of four.

Luke 15

4. What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?

5. And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

6. And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.

7. I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

Are you thinking, "But I heard from God that I am His child and you said no one can steal that from me." Yes I did say that, but I did not say you could not throw it away. That is what happens; many will throw it away by distractions, lies, deception, and anything or person Satan can use to get you to throw it away as he tried with Jesus. Did you forget that?

Matthew 4

1. Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

2. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.

3. And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

4. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

5. Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,

6. And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

7. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

8. Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

9. And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

10. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

11. Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

You should understand that it is by the Son that we are born again, and through Jesus we reach God and become a piece of the community Jesus is building by the spirit. To be fully of Christ we can not do as the Jews did and try to keep God in a box (as they did with the ark in inner part of the temple). We must speak rivers of living water allowing the spirit out to protect us. Inside of us it is connecting us to the part that it is protecting outside of us. So we are one in the spirit with God, which it connects with as well.

God is connected to us, His Spirit to our spirit; our soul through our mouth causes a connection of the Spirit in, on and through us. That is what the anointing is, when something or someone has whatever they are anointed with, in, on, and all the way through them. A dripping wet sponge is anointed with water or whatever is saturating it. Christ means anointing in English.

Through the Son we are born again into the community Jesus is building by the spirit. Son, Jesus, Christ, of course they are all the same, three in one, just as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are three in one.

2 Corinthians 5

17. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

"If any man be in Christ"–that is a big if! The problem is the church of this world has done a very good job of confusing, dividing, and holding back most believers and non-believers alike.

1 Corinthians 1

11. For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.

12. Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.

13. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?

This is within the first 20 years of the church and already there is division. In verse 12 replace all three of the following Paul, Apollos and Cephas with denomination names you know of today.

Matthew 12

25. And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

It is now about 1955 years since Paul said that and Satan has been consistent and deliberate about dividing us further for the entire time. Now think about this, if this happened in half of a generation of the first century of the church and it was already divided that badly, how much worse is it today?

If you honestly believe it is not bad today then you need to look again.

I have attended many churches and with some I stay in contact. Nothing has changed there. So here is the division as it is today…Let’s call the first one ABC church. I attended it in the late 80's and early 90's and there were many groups. Some were based on income, some on views and beliefs, some based on their children’s ages, some just based on whether or not they liked you. In those groups there would be even more sub-groups. ABC church was part of a particular denomination (which means to divide). That denomination was only one of three different groups within the parent denomination, each with the same name, but different practices and teachings. Group 1 was more legalistic. Group 2 more moderate which is what ABC was part of, then group 3 was the really liberal group. Each group was part of the same denomination, but of a different belief. So we start out with all these denominations, then groups in the denominations, and then the churches, which had groups in them and sub-groups, cliques, etc.

So it has gone from Paul’s mentioning 4 different names (with only one right and the others wrong) to what we have today. Just in one church of one denomination (which has at least 3 splinters) there are more differences than there were that Paul addressed 1955 years ago.

Everyone can not be right. One believes that if you are not baptized in water you are not saved. Another believes that if you are not a member and partake in communion in their service you bring judgement on yourself. One teaches predestination as no one will know who is saved until we get there that some were predestined to be saved and some were not. My problem with that belief is why they even get together and do anything but maybe for a country club type of assembly. Then there are those who do not believe women should pastor, or teach, or even talk at all in church. Then those who believe homosexuality is natural and of God and even have homosexual women teaching and as pastors. Can you imagine what would happen if those who do not believe in women in any role including talking accidentally attended a service with a homosexual female as pastor?

So who is right and who is wrong? It does not matter who is anything. All that matters is a relationship with God first and foremost. It is God and you, PERIOD.

Why some see it and do not teach it is because they are afraid that if they do they will lose their congregation and be out of a job. Maybe it’s because they were misled by who taught them or they just never really understood it as they read.

The point is the church is not of anyone person, or organization. It is purely and simply of Jesus. It is His community that He is developing. The rest are false, leading their members to destruction just as Jim Jones or David Koresh did with their members. Before you say, "No way is that us," think about how many members Jim Jones had, and how they sold everything, gave up jobs, relationships, etc to follow him to California, then Africa, and ultimately to their deaths.

The only way you can know for sure is to ask God and find out from Him, not man, what is true and what is not.

Think of 1930's Germany when the people voted in Hitler due to their pocket book over anything else. By 1943 Hitler had eventually killed 11+ million men, women, and children in death camps. The point is either all of Germany is and was evil and corrupt or they were deceived and manipulated. If it is the latter, which I believe, then how can you say you are sure about anyone? Look at how many Hitler was able to deceive to the point of being elected and then named ruler.

Not just Hitler but throughout time there have been many cases of the masses being deceived. Are you 100% sure that who you hear from knows the truth for sure? I am not saying anyone is wrong or bad, but I am saying based on the numbers Jesus gave us it would be six times easier to find those who are not of Him than those that are of Him.

When you hear you have to test, as described in I John 4:1-3, the spirit from whom you are hearing. When you are sure it is God then you have to ask questions. He does not force; He responds to what you ask. He may make a comment or two, but as far as revelation knowledge you have to seek Him and then listen.

Just remember the only way to God is via His Son Jesus, and then once born again you have to listen to and hear from God for the revealed knowledge to be part of the community Jesus is creating. Continue to seek revelation knowledge from God so you can fully grow into Christ. While this is going on you must cast down all imaginations that are not of the knowledge of God, while taking the remaining imaginations, thoughts, ideas into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

Romans 12

2. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

If you do not believe me then ask God. By the way, He is only God if you do not know Him; when you know Him He is your Father.

Overview

By the grace of God, which is His love for us, we are saved through faith. Faith gives us the ability to know God and get knowledge from Him. Faith is knowledge you have that rises to a point where you can operate, believe without any form of doubt, or live in whatever it is you have faith. A race car driver has faith in his ability to drive the car, but the mechanic of the car has faith in the car more than in the driver. That’s because the car is what he knows best just like the driver knows his abilities better than even the car he is driving. Then he has faith in the team who works on the car and what they tell him about the car.

Bottom line–faith is knowledge of the actual workings of something not just faith in it. We have faith in God because we know Him and as He shares with us knowledge of Himself, of what we can do and how, we then have faith in that as well.

Hebrews 11

1. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Now is the first word above and it means the here and now, not tomorrow, next week, but now. So "Now faith" is the concrete, essence or assurance (substance) of things expected for, the evidence or proof of things not seen.

I have faith that I am healed, then I am healed because I have faith in what the word says, and that type of faith may require a doctor. Then when God reveals to us "By His stripes we were healed" then we have healing without a doctor and that it was already done.

There is an overall belief by many today that they are saved but not born again, that salvation is all they need, or they just do not believe in being born again.

John 3

3. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

4. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

5. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Jesus clearly states if we are not born again (born of water {woman} first and then of Spirit) we can not even see the kingdom of God much less enter it. If you can not enter the kingdom of God then you can not be saved. That’s because when we are saved, we are saved from death and Hell unto the next life with Him in His kingdom.

John 15

7. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

If His words (not those of man but of Him such as John 3:3-6) abide in you, then He abides in you and you in Him.

The only way you can open the door is if you are listening and HEAR HIS VOICE.

John 14

6. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The only way to the Father is by Jesus; no other way will work.

John 14

26. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Jesus said we are to be taught all things by the Spirit.

Romans 10

9. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

In verse 9 above we read how it is of the heart that we believe and if we do not believe confession is just lip service.

Matthew 15

8. This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

The heart is the spirit. It is either fed by the world or by the Spirit.

Matthew 15

18. But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.

19. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

20. These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

God, who is a Spirit, testifies by His Spirit to our spirit, which comes to our soul (mind, will and emotions), that we are His child.

Romans 8

16. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

When God reveals His word to us and we receive revelation knowledge, it comes from His Spirit, to our spirit, up to our soul (mind, will and emotions) and it comes out of our mouth as rivers of living water. If we are not born again in the spirit, then our spirit is of this world and all that comes into our soul comes in from our spirit, to our soul (mind, will and emotions). Then it comes up and out of our mouth as lies, deceptions, hate, anger, those things not of God.

2 Corinthians 10

3. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

4. (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

5. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Any thought we have that is against the knowledge of God we cast down and the rest we take into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

Ephesians 2

8. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9. Not of works, lest any man should boast.

By grace (God's love for us) we are saved through faith, faith being the knowledge of God, and His truth and not the world and its lies.

Salvation is one part of being born again. When we are born of the spirit of course we are saved from death and Hell, but being born again means so much more. When we are born again we are of the Spirit.

Luke 4

18. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach

Jesus said; "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me." Since Jesus is the Christ and Christ means anoint(ed)(ing), then to be of Christ is to have the Spirit of God, in, on and through us, to be of the Spirit of God. So when we are born again we are born of the Spirit, we are of Christ. One who is truly born again hears Jesus, God through the Holy Spirit, and the person receives revelation knowledge from God.

There are initially two revelations that we hear. First is that we are a child of God. He is our heavenly Father. We only have one Father and He is it.

Are you not sure about God being your one and only Father?

Mark 10

29. And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,

30. But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

The only thing in verse 29 that is not stated that we get back a hundred-fold, but only have one of, is not mothers, brother, sisters, lands, or houses. It is father because when God is our Father then we only need one Father.

The second revelation we receive is that Jesus is the Son of the living God and the Christ. Now just because you have heard it does not mean you have the revelation of what it means.

Matthew 16

In verse 16 Peter said that Jesus was the Son of the Living God and the Christ. Jesus replied with that Peter was blessed because he did not learn this from anyone of the earth, no man or woman, but from the Father, which is in heaven. Peter received revelation knowledge; it was revealed to Him.

Matthew 16

18. And I say also unto thee, That thou art a piece of the rock (Peter (Petros)), and upon this rock I will build my community (church (ekklesia)); and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

In verse 16 above the translators incorrectly translated two words. The word Petros they translated as Peter is actually a piece of the rock, and Ekklesia, which is community they translated as church.

Remember in Revelation 2-3 Jesus stated out of seven churchES that only one was of Him the rest were not. Because as soon as they had lost their unity they were no longer of the common unity, or community, so of course there could only be one and six had to be wrong or not of Him.

Matthew 16

Notice Jesus told them not to tell anyone who He was as the Christ, because if they told it would only be head knowledge and Satan could steal that. It had to be revelation knowledge to be lasting and beneficial.

Mark 4

15. And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

Being Born Again or of the Spirit means to be saved, to be of all the promises, to be of the power and wisdom of God, to be of the fruit of the Spirit, to be of God.

Being saved without being born again is a lie from Hell to divide the people of the earth from God.

Many teach against faith, that it never was, or that it ended in the first century church, etc. But if faith is no more then based on Ephesians 2:8 alone we can not be saved.

Many teach against the Spirit, that those of the spirit are of the devil, that the Spirit ended in the first century or never was for mankind, etc. But if they are right we can not be born again, born of the Spirit, and we can not be saved.

Many teach church when in Greek the word is not even there. It actually is community not church or assembly. They teach church as doctrine of man, commandments of man, traditions of man, that it is a building where one meets, a denomination, a belief, mostly as a religion. But to be of Christ is not a religion. It is a way of life 24/7, not once or twice a week.

Matthew 23

13. But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

The ones that Jesus speaks of above are those, then and now, that pick and choose what they want or need out of the Bible to keep their people in line, as members all the while keeping them out of God instead of teaching the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 23

14. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.

These are people then and now that do just what Jesus warns about in Matthew 6:5-8 that make long prayer as a pretence for their own personal gain or give others reason to boast about them among the members.

Matthew 23

15. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

These are people then and now that will seek one to be a member and in doing so keep them from ever knowing the truth and God and subsequently more lost than they are themselves.

Matthew 23

16. Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!

These are people then and now that make more out of what is in the temple than of the temple itself.

Matthew 23

17. Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?

You should get the idea, the problem is then and now they make more out of the physical and what is of the physical than they do out of the Spiritual. They say they hear from God; they had a revelation or a vision but instead use the idea of it to get more trapped in the snare. They are in bondage to themselves or their traditions, rituals, etc.

Many will go from church to church until they find one that conforms to the way they believe, not based on the truth, but based on how they want it. They never realize it is not a building, or where others gather, or one sounds good, or even goose bumps can be felt. They have not learned that it is to be where the truth is found, is His community. To be of His community you must be born of the Spirit (Born Again), hear Him, receive true revelation knowledge that sets you free of the physical.

Nothing of the physical is permanent. Only in that which is of the Spiritual can you find what is permanent, real, and true. Until you know what is real and true you are in bondage to what is not real, a lie, and all of the world is a lie and not real.

Mark 4

10. And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve

Those above are those who are lost, are not saved or born again. All they hear is head knowledge and as they hear it, immediately it is gone.

Mark 4

16. And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;

17. And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.

These are those who due to what they are hearing become (actually or think they are) afflicted and persecuted for the word's sake, immediately are offended, and fall away. At best they get 30% of the word and its meaning and have no root and fall away.

Mark 4

18. And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,

19. And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

These are the ones who get 60% of the meaning of the word and as soon as a care of the world, deceitfulness of riches, or lusts of other things enter the word is choked out and they fall away. They can not let go of these things, cares, and lusts. They become more to them than even God is to them.

Mark 4

20. And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirty percent, some sixty, and some an hundred.

Thirty-fold in verse 20 is actually percent not fold in most translations. These are those which receive the word 100% and grow in it fully. They receive all the word says and has to offer, not just the Bible as the word, but Jesus as the word as well. They see and perceive–they hear and understand.

Many who read this will be of different beliefs. Read Revelation 2-3, then I Corinthians 1:11-13 while replacing Paul, Apollos, and Cephas in verse 12 with church names of today.

If you read this and are not offended and understand there is more to His community than what the world offers through all of its churches, then you are blessed and on the path to life. Do not just believe me–ask God.

The problem for us is that we believe in a physical assembly over a Spiritual one. We have lived for so long in the physical that it is hard to change to the Spiritual. It is like altar calls where people are called up to accept and profess Jesus and told they are saved. But professing alone is not what it is about; it is believing in the heart and professing.

Matthew 12

35. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

The heart is the spirit if it is connected to God then it brings forth good fruit, but if it is not then it does not. When we are connected in the spirit to God's Spirit we receive from His Spirit, to our spirit up to our soul (mind, will and emotions) and out of our mouth will flow rivers of living waters. But if we are not connected then our spirit only receives that of the soul (mind, will and emotions) that comes from the world (Satan).

2 Corinthians 10

5. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

We have to start by casting down all imaginations that is imaginations, thoughts, and ideas that go against the knowledge of God. Meaning any and all knowledge that is of God.

And taking the remaining into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

Romans 12

2. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Renewing our mind in God, by the connection to God our mind and spirit to His Spirit, His mind, His will.

2 Corinthians 5

17. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Being of Christ is being born again in the Spirit and renewing our mind and spirit in His mind and Spirit daily.

REVIEW

He will admonish or convict us of our sins, then He will educate us so we will warm up to Him and think differently of Him.

Strong's Ref. # 1651

Romanized elegcho

Pronounced el-eng'-kho

of uncertain affinity; to confute, admonish:

KJV--convict, convince, tell a fault, rebuke, reprove.

Strong's Ref. # 3811

Romanized paideuo

Pronounced pahee-dyoo'-o

from GSN3816; to train up a child, i.e. educate, or (by implication) discipline (by punishment):

KJV--chasten(-ise), instruct, learn, teach.

The relationship with Him, the Spirit, even the Lord is not mystical or designed for us to accept by blind faith. It may be a more real relationship than any other in this life. We are in Him, as He is in God, and God is in Him and in us as long as we are all one in His Spirit.

2 Timothy 3

16. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Scripture can teach us the errors of our ways, the way to God through Jesus, how we can be born again (saved), and how to be taught by the Spirit, not man.

John 14

26. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

He will teach us all things, but the Holy Ghost (Spirit).

Luke 4

18. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Christ is a Greek word for anointed, anointing, or anoint. Since Jesus is the Christ and He said that He was anointed with the Spirit of the Lord, all those who of Christ are of the anointing.

1 John 2

27. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

John 15

26. But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

For those of you who want to read what Jesus said in John 3:3 and 3:5-6 the way it would read literally from the Greek:

3. answered Jesus, Jehoshua, name of our Lord and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, Except, unless one regenerate, receive birth from above, not he is able to see the royalty, realm, kingdom of God!

5. answered Jesus, Jehoshua, name of our Lord and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, Except, unless one regenerate, receive birth of water (genitive of the womb of a woman) and Spirit, not he is able to enter the royalty, realm, kingdom of God

6. That receiving birth, from the flesh, flesh is and that receiving birth from the Spirit, spirit is

We have to first be born of a woman (water) to have the ability to be born again of the Spirit.

Being born again is the beginning of how we will be saved from death and Hell, filled of the Spirit (baptism) and full of the Spirit, in, on and through (Christ).

Before the filling happens there must first be something to fill and that is man who is born of woman, and born again of the Spirit.

Born again in time gives you the connection to God and ability to have all He has promised of all He is. We are then filled with the spirit, even though we are connected to Him from being born again, it does not mean we are filled with His Spirit.

Romans 8

16. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

Notice Paul stated that the Spirit itself (God–read John 4:24) beareth witness with our spirit (Greek refers to it as the same as His; the difference is lower case is ours, upper case is His) that we are the children of God.

Romans 8

14. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

15. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

As we read in Acts 5 those who witnessed the death of a Ananias and Sapphira and due to the cause of their death everyone stared to fear in Acts 5:11. In Acts 5:13 they no longer would join with those of the Spirit as Ananias and Sapphira and the Apostles, because to be born again and filled with the Spirit meant that if one committed a lie and died no sin would go unpunished. But in Romans 8:14-15 we are told that we are either of a spirit of bondage (again to fear) or a Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry Abba (Daddy), Father.

Acts 5

11. And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

12. And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.

13. And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them.

Fear is not of God's Spirit or ours when we are born again and filled with the Spirit.

To be born again is to have the door to God and all He is and has opened to us.

Revelation 3

19. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

Who does He love? He loves all of us.

John 3

16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

He rebukes (admonishes) and chastens to train up a child, i.e. educate, or (to train up a child, i.e. educate, or discipline) or convicts us of our sin so we will repent and be zealous for Him. He will educate us so we will warm up to Him and think differently of Him.

Rev 3:19 Those whom I [dearly and tenderly] love, I tell their faults and convict and convince and reprove and chasten [I discipline and instruct them]. So be enthusiastic and in earnest and burning with zeal and repent [changing your mind and attitude]. [Prov. 3:12.]

Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears and listens to and heeds My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will eat with him, and he [will eat] with Me.

Rev 3:21 He who overcomes (is victorious), I will grant him to sit beside Me on My throne, as I Myself overcame (was victorious) and sat down beside My Father on His throne.

Rev 3:22 He who is able to hear, let him listen to and heed what the [Holy] Spirit says to the assemblies (churches). (Amplified)

2Cor 13:14 The grace (favor and spiritual blessing) of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the presence and fellowship (the communion and sharing together, and participation) in the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen (so be it).

In Rev 3:20 when he says, "come in and dine (or eat)", communion is what this is, dine on His knowledge, His love, all He is, to show to the world so all will know He is.

Communion is an intimate relationship with Him, one of partnership, a one on one exchange. As we become one on one with Him we also become one on one with others who are one on one with Him as well. We are united by His Spirit and we become one with Him and all others that are of the Spirit.

Jesus stands at the door knocking and He will convict those who hear His voice and listen of their sinful life. If we listen He will train us so we will have a new heart towards Him. And if we continue to listen and be trained by Him and overcome the flesh we will sit with Him.

Get a Bible CD–I recommend highly the one at biblelibrary.com because they have the only accurate literal version I have found. Then search from Genesis to Revelation or at the least Matthew to Revelation the following words: spirit, flesh, hear, and voice. Read the verses before and after them. In time from this research you find that we are to be of the Spirit not the flesh, born again, filled listening to and hearing from the Spirit, not man.

A man that has not seen Heaven, the next life, teaching man is like the blind leading the blind.

John 3

12. If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

Much of what those who are not born again, filled with the Spirit, hearing from God read is not truly understood, because all they can understand is some of the physical and none of the Spiritual.

HOW

How you are saved and know it is by hearing from God. He confirms your salvation; how you are of the church, His community, is when God reveals to you who Jesus is as the Son and the Christ. How you grow is by His teaching not man's teaching. So what is needed first and foremost is hearing from God. Those who have a desire to know God and will patiently wait to hear from Him will in time hear and be born again and saved. Those who do not are the ones on the path to destruction.

Matthew 7

They are on this path to destruction because they are following men who are false prophets. 2000 years ago a prophet was a leader, a messenger from God and teacher.

So those who misleading today are of those who appear to be of God and are not.

Matthew 7

22. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

There will be those who, in all ways, will appear to be men/women of God but in all truth are false teachers, leaders and prophets. In verse 22 Jesus listed just such as I stated above and then in verse 23 Jesus tells them to depart because they are workers of evil.

The problem is that Jesus never knew them. Of course He knew of them, but they were false and either meant to mislead or just never took the time to know Him and as such were never known by Him.

Over the past 12 years the excuse I hear the most for why pastors do not hear from God is that they are too busy doing His work to listen. Now how do they know they are really doing His work and not that of Satan if they do not hear from God?

If I were to attend a church I would ask the pastor(s) if they hear from God, and mean actually hear from God and how much time they spend daily listening before I would even consider attending.

It is your choice–attend any church with hopes they get it right and you do, too, or stop, listen, hear from God, and have Him guide you and know for sure.
