Before you read this study understand that we do not teach, we share and then ask all who read the following take it to God and verify it with Him. We believe a lot of the world is misled by the church of the world and religion vs the one true church. And to know the truth can only come from knowing, not just knowing of God, John 14:26, I John 2:27, Rev 3:19-22.
Many are called but few are chosen because many are misled by false teachers Matthew 7:13-15 so we help all who wants to know the truth how to find and know the truth of and by God and not of and by man.

Your Last Day

Pastor Jerry Wilhite, author

What would you do today if you knew without a doubt it was your last day?

The point of this study is that this is your last day; there is no promise for tomorrow. Truth be told there is no promise for the next moment. So instead of continuing to live in the past as some do or planning for the future as others seem to consume themselves with, you would LIVE this day. I mean actually live it and make the most of it enjoying all life has to offer. Not the life of the world but the life God has for you. Stopping to smell the roses, walking through a garden, watching the sunrise and sunset, and spending time with those who are the closest to you.

Matthew 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

The idea is we should take each day as if it were our last and make it count for the most.

Many, maybe even most people are too busy working to pay for that thing bought years ago they do not even remember. Too busy rushing to work when all they can do is crawl in traffic and get there already frustrated and stressed out. Then they spend the next 8-9 hours working and occasionally daydream. Then they rush home for what? What the next television show might be.

That is how most spend Monday through Friday, then the weekend comes and what happens? The men watch sports, maybe mow the lawn and barbeque while the women work in the garden, shop, take care of the kids, clean house, etc.

This is not living it is existing.

Then when we know we are dying we look back at a bunch of days we killed our selves at work in traffic, etc to pay off something we really did not need, but had to have on time and when we paid it off we did not even remember what it was. Even if we did it was no longer being used.

Now for those of you who want more, the rest of this is basically this study done on line in our chat room.

The person who thinks they have it all or even partly is a fool.

The idea of Matthew 6:34 is that we take each day as they come and direct all we have and are to that day. The past is over and the future is not promised so all we have is this very moment.
