Before you read this study understand that we do not teach, we share and then ask all who read the following take it to God and verify it with Him. We believe a lot of the world is misled by the church of the world and religion vs the one true church. And to know the truth can only come from knowing, not just knowing of God, John 14:26, I John 2:27, Rev 3:19-22.
Many are called but few are chosen because many are misled by false teachers Matthew 7:13-15 so we help all who wants to know the truth how to find and know the truth of and by God and not of and by man.

Mankind

Spirit, Flesh and Soul

Pastor Jerry Wilhite, author

God created the universe, especially the earth for mankind and any that believe otherwise are fooling themselves. How can I say this and answer the questions or coments of those who say religion is nothing more than a crutch for the weak? Easy, I agree with them. Religion is a crutch but God is not about religion alone; it is so small a part of Him that it is like saying all we are about is sleeping.

To answer how we got to where we are today and how I can believe in a creator of all is easy. It makes the most sense of all that has been put forth about life, not to mention that I do hear from Him and anyone that wants to hear Him can as well.

Created or Evolved

Were we created by a Supreme Being or evolved from a lower life form or even transplanted here from another planet?

Evolved from a lower life and all that entails such as a big bang, order out of chaos, and life as we know it happening from random mutations is ridiculous because of how many chance occurrences that had to happen at the same time.

Think about how for life to form the earth had to:

The list of just how many chance happenings is astronomically long, as long as the Bible itself. To believe in evolution is to believe out of chaos can come such perfect order and out of that order just the right set of circumstances happened to create and evolve life is more unbelievable than a creator is.

Transplanted by Aliens?

Wouldn't believing we were transplanted here still leave questions like whom or how were they were first created?

The idea of a being who is superior to us, able to create all life and all we know should not be that hard to understand except for one aspect. That one aspect is an enemy who has done all he could do to keep knowledge of this from us to keep us in a "lack of knowledge" condition.

In this study we will look at the three major attacks our enemy has made on us as the human race and how we got to where we are today.

Spirit

To understand the three attacks on the human race by the enemy one has to understand the three elements of the human race and just what each of us really is. We are a soul (mind, will, and emotions) encased in flesh body, with a spirit of the creator.

To get to the soul the enemy had to get to the flesh and to get to the flesh the enemy had to remove the spirit.

Genesis 3

1. Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2. And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3. But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5. For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

In verse 3 above Eve said " Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die." "Touch it" was never a part of what God told Adam.

Genesis 2
17.
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Since God told Adam and Adam only not to eat, and God is a God of specifics not generalities, then who added, "touch it"? Eve would not have any reason to add this so it must have been Adam. Adam was treating Eve like a parent does a child - do not put your fingers in it or even touch it. The problem was more than just not touching the fruit; it was that God only comanded Adam not to eat. God never said you and your descendants and/or spouse, just you shall not eat.

When Adam added do not touch the enemy saw his chance to attack and did. The enemy knew full well that only Adam had been comanded not to eat, nothing about Eve's eating was ever stated. If it were due to the fact that Eve was not around then after she was created God would have said, "Eve you can not eat or you will die." but God did not say that.

So the enemy knew that if he could get Eve to touch it nothing would happen and if she saw nothing happened from touching it then she would eat and maybe then Adam would as well.

You see even though Adam comanded Eve not to eat or touch the fruit that was not the problem as much as adding to what God comanded. If Adam had left it as God said then Eve would have had no way to be tempted to eat as she did with the "do not touch" added on. Then of course she saw nothing happened from touching so she ate. Then Adam saw she ate and nothing happened so he ate, partly because he believed if he could not eat it neither could she or why else tell her that. Here is proof that we should NEVER add to what God has said, or ever try to interpret His mind.

Genesis 3

6. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
7. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
8. And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.
9. And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
10. And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

Notice neither Adam nor Eve died from eating of the fruit so did God lie? Of course not! Adam died spiritually and so did Eve and their death spiritually was a worse death than a physical one. So the enemy had severed the spiritual connection to mankind and it was up to God to correct this now.

Flesh

The flesh was the second of three over all attacks against the race in general to get to the main goal, the soul. As long as mankind still could see and be in the presence of God faith was not needed - He was a fact. So the enemy was not finished; he knew that next he had to separate mankind from God in the flesh as well.

Genesis 4

13. And Cain said unto the Lord, My punishment is greater than I can bear.
14. Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me.

We know that even after Cain murdered his brother he could still be in the presence of God based on his punishment. Cain said, "My punishment is greater than I can bear. Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid" The word for his face is just that his face. After Adam's sin, mankind could still be in the presence of God, as was Cain above. God was walking in the garden looking for them. Later we are told Enoch walked with God. So how is it that Moses could not be in His presence (full face) with out being destroyed?

Genesis 5

22. And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
23. And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
24. And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

Something happened that caused sin to enter the flesh. The sin of Adam was a spiritual sin not a physical sin, but Moses could not see the face of God without being destroyed so God allowed Moses to see God's backside only. We know sin is evil and sin can not exist in the presence of God so sin in the flesh would cause any flesh to be destroyed if it got in the presence of God. We know comitting a physical sin did not cause the sin to enter the flesh because of Adam, Eve, and then Cain who murdered his brother out of jealousy.

Remember there were three Archangels, Michael, Gabriel, and Lucifer and each had one third of the angels under them. So when Lucifer fell from grace from God his third fell with him.

Genesis 6

1. And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
2. That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

"Sons of God" used above is the same as used in only one other book - Job chapters 1 and 2. There, as here, it refers to angels, except here it is the angels fallen from grace that were under Lucifer. We know none of the other angels would have done something this horrendous against God and His creation. Mankind mating with angels, no matter fallen or not, is like mating a dog and a cat. We know "Sons of God" does not mean sons of man due to the use of the words and their meaning in Hebrew as well as the fact it states the daughters of men and the sons of God. Otherwise it would have said the sons of men and daughters of men. We can also see in the following verses something that happened here was not natural and led to the downfall of mankind at this time.

  1. And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

The word for "flesh" here is not the same as before. The flesh is now changed. Some also say that the last part of the verse "yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years" refers to a physical time limit placed on mankind on the earth due to what happened. The way this is stated about the hundred and twenty years is not the same as anywhere else when God talks about us and our lifetime or expectancy of lifetime here. Since the year of the Lord is every fifty years (year of Jubilee) that is one of the Lord's years so multiply fifty by one-hundred and twenty and you have six thousand or how much time from then that mankind had left on the earth.

4. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
5. And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6. And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
7. And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

In verse 4 above "giants in the earth" refers to the Hebrew for those "who fell from the sky" or they were giants because they came down from on high. Again a fallen angel coming down taking human form would come from on high. In verses 4-7 God repents of making mankind because of the evil in mankind.

8. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.
9. These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord because he was perfect in his generations. Not perfect spiritually because that was lost with Adam, but it states perfect in his generations so no other was like him in his generations. Noah was born just as the perversion of the sons of God and daughters of men started, but apparently his wife was of the perversion and his children would not be pure in the flesh. They were less polluted than the rest and this was enough for God to give mankind another chance. Sadly though it was what the enemy wanted - a separation of mankind from God in the flesh as well as the spirit.

10. And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
11. The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
12. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

From the beginning our ultimate downfall was to be the perversion of the flesh brought on by the daughters of men and the sons of God (fallen angels) mating.

Now with the downfall of mankind complete in two of the three steps, that left only one for the enemy to start working on - the soul. It also left the same work for God to reconnect to man via the soul to re-unite us in the spirit.

So the battle starts over our souls between God and Satan.

Soul

The soul is the last attack by the enemy on the race in general. It could not have been first because the spirit and the flesh protected it. To get to the soul the spirit and the flesh had to be perverted first.

So now Satan starts planting lies and misleads mankind while God is seeking one here and there to use to plant His word into the earth to grow faith.

Romans 10

17. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Ironically Paul warned us about this and for the most part of two thousand years we have missed it completely, or at least the depth of what Paul was saying.

2 Corinthians 10

3. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4. (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Paul understood that not only the battle is waged in our soul but that our soul is where we overcome all. Our soul is who we are (mind, will and emotions).

Genesis 6

5. And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6. And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

Romans 1

21. Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

God knew that He had to sow the word into the earth before He could ever bring forth the Word in the flesh to save mankind. You see the only way to save us He had to become like us and pay the price that we could not. So God set forth the law to point out how far short of Him mankind had fallen, help them to try and avoid sin, and show the need for Him and His redemption.

At the same time Satan was corrupting more and more of mankind and God needed one to have a physical bloodline to work through and that was Abraham. Satan used the rest and in time would even use some if not most of this bloodline of Abraham. Satan could not plant imaginations into all of mankind so he would choose those that could influence the majority and let it snowball from there.

John 1

1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2. The same was in the beginning with God.
3. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

After centuries of God's finding a person here and there to use one at a time planting His word into the earth it happened. Someone finally had the faith needed to complete the process to bring the Word into the flesh.

Luke 1

38. And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.

John 1

14. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Jesus told us that He is the way, the truth, and the life.

John 14

6. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Then He told us after He left there would be one sent to us to help us, teach us, and bring remembrance of all things taught.

John 14

26. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
27. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Remember Jesus was not born of the seed of man (where the seed of sin is now found due to what happened in Genesis 6), but was born of the Spirit and was sin free.

You have two choices at this point:

  1. Believe in Jesus and be saved and go forward and learn the truth and to live life eternal.
  2. Believe as the rest that you are born with nothing and die with nothing. Before you are born you are nothing and after you die you are nothing.

If we are right (and we are) then life after this life without Jesus is eternal torment.

To help you make the choice think of the times in your life you have been lied to or deceived and did not realize it until later. What if what I am saying is true and there is one who started planting the lies and deception to mislead and deceive us all many thousands of years ago? How can you be sure you are right?

If one like you can mislead, lie, and deceive you then how much more could one such as Lucifer/Satan do? One of his lies (but not his biggest) is that he (Satan), God, and all I am teaching is a lie.

Do you really want to be right so badly that you will spend your life being led by the nose by someone in whom you do not even believe? Just because you do not believe in him does not mean he does not exist or does not believe in you.

Satan forces; God does not. God wants us to seek the truth because then we will find Him. Satan does not want you to know the truth because then you will see Satan for what he is and God for whom He is.

Hosea 4

6. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

(Revelation 1: 6. And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. )

Romans 8

16. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

Why is it that the Spirit and Faith are taught as having ended in the first century church by more and more who call themselves Christians daily? Why is there more and more division in the so-called churches/religions of this world? Could it be as stated in Revelation that out of the seven churches Jesus says only one is the right church? Could it be that Satan has gotten us into rituals, traditions and the lie instead of the truth because so-called leaders have interpreted the word of God instead of understood it as those who seek Him learn?

Think of this; in about 312 AD Constantine, the ruler of Rome and a newly born Christian, decided to make a law trying to get every one to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. Instead, this good intention, as most good intentions, worked towards the enemy's plan. This law made it unlawful for any non-Christians to have power or land. Instead in time it caused many non-believers to say they were Christians so they could have power and land. In time many non-believers were placed in power of the church. Since then many religions/churches have split off and started up based on interpretation and not fact or understanding. That can only come from God not man.

John 4

23. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Many teach Jesus came in the spirit not the flesh.

1 John 4

1. Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3. And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

How can I learn what is true and not? Easy, seek God and ask Him.

How do I do this? Ask Him for His help and find a place free of distractions and that is quiet. Then daily sit there for at least 20 minutes listening for and to His voice. At first you may doze off, but do not worry because the body is trained to go to sleep sitting for any length of time like this. You just have to retrain it not to and this takes time, as does hearing from God. All good things are worth waiting for no matter if they take a month, many months or a year. When you hear from God verify it is God as stated in I John 4:1-3 and then be obedient to Him and no other.

Why should anyone read these studies then? They should not if they have the time to do as I do, but if they are limited on time as most are due to work and family constraints, then all I can do is offer a timesaver. It is a timesaver because I already researched, took it to God, and then present it to you. Now all you do is read, go to God, and verify it as true and you saved between 20 and 4000 hours of research and reading.

Is there any way to guarantee growth in the word and with God? Yes, read Malachi 3:8-12 and Mark 4:1-20 and notice how in the tithe God rebukes the devourer of your land. In Mark Jesus talks about one who devours your seed. Also in Mark 4:20 the word "fold" is actually "percent" in Greek. The first of the four seeds has no staying power and no hope. The second on its own will possibly grow some 30% and the third 60% but the fourth due to the rebuking of the devourer of the seed grows 100%. The tithe goes to good ground, mostly where you are taught the truth not just the word.

Is there any other way to grow? The only way to grow is spend time with God and not mankind. Mankind will mislead and deceive you (maybe not on purpose).

Satan won the battle over our spiritual connection with Adam and then the flesh, but the soul is still up for grabs. With Jesus you can win but without Jesus you have already lost.

As far as the lie that there are no choices with God, that is an out and out lie from Hell.

There are choices with God; it is with Satan that there are no choices.

The Devil attacks the spirit first, which is the Holy Spirit, then the flesh which was Jesus, and then the soul which is God. That is the one attack Satan has trouble even to this day with because we are created in God's image - the soul.

You see the spirit was our armor, the flesh our suit of clothes, and the soul is that which both cover. When Satan disconnected us in the spirit in Genesis 3 he effectively removed our armor and made us more accessible to him. Even then it was not total until the flesh was perverted and then he would have full access to us, who we really are.

When the spiritual connection and armor was removed he could manipulate us through outside sources, but did not have full contact. He had to remove the spiritual to get to the flesh to pervert it. The spiritual armor would have kept us safe and protected from all Satan had to offer or do, but Adam gave away the armor and protection with just a little deceit. Adam bought into the lie because he had added to what God had comanded. Agreed, it was based on good intention, but still we know what road is paved with good intentions.

Once the spiritual connection was gone the problem still remained that mankind did not need faith to believe because they could see God and be in His presence. So the next step had two purposes, one to remove God from our presence and ability to see Him any longer requiring faith to believe, and next to give Satan access to our soul in a more direct route than before. Of course in doing so it was easier for Satan to plant lies in us and corrupt our imagination and thoughts against God.

Satan is no fool even though some think he must be to fight God. It just means he is not as smart as he thinks he is to be against God and of course that he does not know it all as he thinks. You see lack of knowledge even hurts Satan as well and for Satan to have all the knowledge he needs to totally understand he would have to listen to and be obedient to the Spirit of God. That would mean we would have no enemy except our own imaginations. Since the damage is already done and it is up to us to overcome, removing Satan would not ensure our safety. All it would do is remove one obstacle and I agree it is a huge obstacle, but it still would not mean we would be delivered.

When Satan fell from grace with God he lost all connection with God in the Spiritual and lost all knowledge and understanding that would bring. Do not be fooled, Satan is an enemy who is a threat and is not to be underestimated but he is no threat in the Spiritual.

Even though Satan was cast down from grace it did not mean he was cast down from heaven.

Job 1

6. Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them.

How can Satan be in the presence of God if mankind could not?

Remember that even though Satan has lost grace with God, he is still pure in his form he has not been perverted in his physical form so he would still be able to be in God's presence.

Revelation 12
9.
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Do the above verses mean that Satan was cast down to the earth in the beginning?

No, how could Satan be called the accuser of our brethren even when salvation through Jesus was offered mankind? At this point Satan had not been cast down to the earth. It did not mean he could not visit the earth just that he was not cast down to the earth only.

Revelation 12
12.
Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
13. And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
14. And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

In verses 12-14 it states that when Satan is cast down he will persecute Israel (woman).

Revelation 12:1-17 starts telling of our salvation and how there would come a male child out of Israel. Satan and his third of the angels would do all they could to kill the man child and then the man child would return to the Father where Satan would accuse us day and night until the end of times. Then Michael and his angels will war with Satan and his angels. Satan will be cast down and he will know his time is short.

Revelation 12

Romanized oligos

Pronounced ol-ee'-gos

of uncertain affinity; puny (in extent, degree, number, duration or value); especially neuter (adverbial) somewhat:

KJV--+ almost, brief[-ly], few, (a) little, + long, a season, short, small, a while.

Verse 12 is very specific; Satan has a very short time and in verse 6 it states that the woman would be safe a short time 3.5 years. Then the war in heaven and Satan is cast down to the earth for the last 3.5 years of the 7 years of tribulation.

God loves us so much that He sent His only begotten Son to save us and pay a price we could not, an unbelievably painful price. All we have to do is believe in our heart and confess with our mouth. On the other hand Satan knew full well from the beginning that if he was to win he had to get us into doubt about God and Satan. He had to make it where we not only would not believe, but also could not believe. So He planted imaginations in the minds of those he saw that would reach the most people like writers, politicians, and even religious leaders and scholars. With these he would divide us based on ideas, principles, religion, society, culture, race, and anything else he could use to get us divided from one another.

Matthew 12

25. And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

So by disconnecting us spiritually we were then divided from each other and God. Then when he perverted the flesh we were divided from God physically as well. From that moment on he had full contact and access to us in our soul or mind and he planted imaginations. Some would cast them down but most would in time accept.

So today it is easier for most to believe in Extra Terrestrials than in God. Movies like Predator and Alien and shows like Star Trek have done as much if not more damage than all the writers of the past. This is due to the hope we have that one day we will become more tolerant of each other and less prejudicial and that some day we will evolve to a society of peace and not wanting for anything other than knowledge. So in reaching our deepest hopes Star Trek and other shows also pervert the truth with a lie. One big lie is that a race came along a long time ago and populated all the worlds with some of their DNA and that is why we all look somewhat alike.

For those of you who still do not believe Satan has not been cast down yet, when Paul wrote of the third heaven he meant there was a heaven between where God is and what we see; that is where Satan is.

2 Corinthians 12

2. I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.

God outlined the entire Bible in the first 5 verses.

Genesis 1

1. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

In verse 2 below it states the earth was without form. In verse one the word "created" means "formed / fashioned". Anything God forms does not become without form all of a sudden. If it had been due to Satan being cast down or some other happening it would state what ever it was that caused the earth to be without form.

2. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

The earth was formed for mankind so in the beginning the earth was without form, without mankind. Then God created mankind and a void was found in mankind. This void was caused after the spiritual connection was lost, and then darkness (Evil) was upon the face of the deep (void). Afterwards evil entered mankind and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. We are mostly made up of water and for thousands of years the Spirit moved upon us one at a time and then after Jesus more and more at a time.

3. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

The light in verse 3 is not the light of God. His light is, always was, and always will be. It is not the light of the sun, moon and stars because He created that on day 4 starting in verse 14. Of course it is not artificial light as we have today. So what light is it?

John 1

4. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

It is when God anointed Jesus as the salvation of mankind. Jesus was, is, and always has been our light.

John 14

6. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
4. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
5. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

In verse 4 God starts His work as Satan starts dividing us from Him and in the end God will separate the sheep from the goats and then it will all be over.

Look at how many times mankind has caused God to destroy a part of the world or more and repent of ever even creating us.

How many times was the temple built, destroyed, and rebuilt because the Jews had no faith or had been corrupted?

Of course David had an affair with a married woman and then when she was with child David sent her husband to the front lines of battle to kill him. Or Solomon and his wickedness due to his 600 plus wives and the corruption that there ensued.

Then in the days of Jesus the world was not that calm. Greece, Rome and the entire known world except Israel was into sexual perversion. Rome was stealing or taking land from those it conquered and giving it to the rich making the poor suffer even more. Sacrifices of all kinds including human were being done. The only thing that kept God from again repenting of all He had created was that Jesus was there and through Him salvation would finally be available to the believers.

Over the next 500 years the church would fall into the hands of those who did not believe due to good intentions. Then we had the dark ages, the crusades, the inquisition, and the separation of the church and splintering of many churches. None of this was based on knowledge and fact but on interpretation of the word of God.

Remember that until the 15th century the average person was not allowed to read the Bible and the priests and monks were not allowed to read the entire Bible. Two books in the New Testament were kept from them.

In the late 15th century the factions divide even further over things such as baptism. Not that there is a necessity for baptism or that they even had it right at all, they haggled over whether one should be totally dunked in water or sprinkled. The sad fact is that water baptism or John's baptism ended with John and the only true baptism is of the Holy Spirit, so they were totally off base.

Matthew 3

11. I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

Acts 1

5. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

Before you get the idea that since some still baptized with water and think that water is the true baptism remember the above two verses. Also remember what happened when the apostles decided who would be the 12th apostle replacing Judas. In Acts 1 they picked matthias as the 12th but from that point on we do not hear about him any more. A few chapters later we see who the Lord had picked, of course that was Saul who became Paul.

I am not condemning anyone of Acts; all I am saying is these men were new to the Spirit and still had a lot of the law and the physical in them. If you want more find where all 12 of the apostles were ever baptized in water and then go to acts 2 and 9 and you will find where they were baptized in the Spirit.

John's baptism was baptism of repentance. Jesus is our repentance; He died for us for that. To state that we are not saved unless we are baptized in water is making Jesus' death on the cross to have been in vain. Even with all of this so far God still works with us and has patience with us.

A few thousand years passed and man is so corrupt again that mankind enters the end of days. Instead of tribulation being God's wrath, as some have preached, it is His love and salvation at work again. Since time is short God allows mankind to be ruled by mankind (antichrist is a man) without Him to show the stubborn of all of us this is not the way.

Since there are those who are even more stubborn God allows Satan to rule mankind for 3.5 years to show this is not the way. By the way "tribulation" means "trial period", a time to be tested. Then at the end of the 7 years of tribulation God will pour out His wrath and all that accepted and WORSHIPPED the Mark of the beast will die.

All who are still here will live, marry, and die as before for 1000 years under the rule of Jesus. Then one last time God lets Satan loose from the pit to tempt those who remain to see if in the 1000 years any have been corrupted. Then comes judgement day, one line for those not in the Lamb's book of life and one for those who are to test their works on earth.

Even with that said God would give us all one last chance at salvation. I believe that at the moment of death God shows a person their life and shows them the truth of Jesus and let's them choose. Before they finish letting out that last breath He does all this just as when Joshua was at war and God told him that before the sun set he would win the battle so when the sun started to set God stopped it from setting. I am sure you have heard of those who have stated their life flashed before their eyes and the reason they did not get the rest was because they were not going to die after all. Then I am sure you have heard of those who have had after death experiences. I am one of those.

Reality does not start until the next life. We are formed in the womb as male or female. Then we spend this life forming as lost or saved. Then we spend eternity where we have chosen to do so. I believe God so loves us He has created a place for those who do not want to be with Him, where God is not, that is Hell.

Remember you are a soul (mind, will, and emotions) and the power of the soul is at full strength in the Spirit, not on its own.

1 Corinthians 1

24. But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
