Before you read this study understand that we do not teach, we share and then ask all who read the following take it to God and verify it with Him. We believe a lot of the world is misled by the church of the world and religion vs the one true church. And to know the truth can only come from knowing, not just knowing of God, John 14:26, I John 2:27, Rev 3:19-22.
Many are called but few are chosen because many are misled by false teachers Matthew 7:13-15 so we help all who wants to know the truth how to find and know the truth of and by God and not of and by man.

Authority of God's Word

Pastor J. R. Wilhite, author   Close Window

This study takes us back to the basics. It also very necessary for all who believe, not just to know and understand, but to never, never forget.

John 1 (KJV)

1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2. The same was in the beginning with God.

3. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

God felt the need to set down that the word has its own authority. He placed it as the opening of the Gospel of John. "Matthew", "Mark", and "Luke" address three different aspects of Jesus:

- Jesus the man as royalty

Each of these is very important. I believe this was done for two reasons: (1) To provide three different ways to reach us (2) To show the entire picture of Jesus…His life, His ministry, and His passion.

John, however, is the only of the four Gospels that deals more with the authority and love, than the law and power. In "Matthew", "Mark", and "Luke" we read more of a historical transcript of Jesus; in "John", we get the emotion and soul of Jesus.

The first lines of any writing do two things:

  1. It sets the pace of the writing.
  2. It gets us interested or looses us to boredom.

"Matthew" starts by showing the bloodline of Jesus; then sets up His physical authority and His lineage. "Matthew" shows the details of the bloodline and gives us the proof of Jesus' authority as a Jew…a bloodline from Abraham to David to Jesus

"Luke" starts by detailing the family in which Jesus was born. The family detail of John the Baptist is also presented at this time.

"Mark", in turn, bypasses most of the detail presented in the beginning of "Matthew" and "Luke"; starting instead with Jesus' ministry. "Mark" primarily deals with His last three years on the earth, His death, His resurrection and His ascension.

"John", however, addresses Jesus' authority as the word and His divinity.

Each of the four Gospels addresses the physical bloodline to show He had authority via the bloodline in the physical and in the law. Then "Mark" shows the ministry and somewhat the passion. "Luke" shows the family He is born into, that He and John the Baptist are related, and that John is of the priesthood.

I have been amazed that most people will reference "Matthew", "Mark", or "Luke", while seldom referencing "John". I believe this is because most do not fully understand that "John" is the most important of the four Gospels. If Jesus were not of a Devine nature, if He had no authority in the Spiritual and only in the physical, then He could only deal with the physical; and not bridge the gap created by sin.

The law, contrary to some people's belief, does not create sin or cause the response of sin in our lives. All the law does is to point out sin and how, by anything of the physical alone, we could not be saved. Only when the physical and the Spiritual are bridged can we be saved. No person living now or ever could do this, because all are born of sin. Where as Jesus was not born of man, man gives the seed and in the seed is the seed of sin. So Jesus born of woman and God is born free of the seed of sin and can live a life free of sin. Now do not think just because He was born free of sin that He could not sin. He could have, but chose not to sin.

.

John 5 (KJV)

14. Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

John 8 (KJV)

11. She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Jesus would never tell us to do something if we could not do it. Notice, He told people, who were of the law, to go and sin no more. So how much more should those of grace be able to live sin free. If the law is not able to save but under the law one could go and sin no more; then how much more can we of grace do that which those of the law could do.

2 Corinthians 10 (KJV)

2. But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.

3. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

4. (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

5. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Paul gave us the way where we could go and sin no more. All that is of this world and of Satan start as a thought or imagination. If we control out thoughts and imaginations then we control our actions and we can go and sin no more.

We do not sin if we think evil or sinful thoughts; it is not even ours until we make it ours. It becomes sin when we accept and dwell on such thoughts that they become our thoughts. Remember, Satan forces his thoughts on us all, and it is up to us to accept or reject such thoughts. Many do evil and sinful acts because of a thought they had they dwelt on it. Until they made it theirs, they were safe; but when they accepted it, they were guilty. Now the problem is in the law, which we all are until we are of grace. Ignorance of the law or of knowledge is not an acceptable excuse.

Hosea 4 (KJV)

6. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Why is it that we are not taught this; and since we are not, who is at fault? First, this is not a case of someone being at fault. However, we are all responsible to seek the truth; if we do not do so, we are then at fault. Only in the truth can the knowledge we need be found.

The reason this world has become so evil is that most, if not almost all, have rejected God and His word. Yes, even the church; no one is teaching the entire truth. True, they are all trying to get people into their churches; some are even trying to get people to accept Jesus as their Lord and savior. However, there lies the problem; they/we are trying and not allowing God to work through us.

John 8 (KJV)

28. Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.

{Jesus did not do of Himself but of the Father and the Father only.}

John 14 (KJV)

26. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

{The Holy Spirit is teach us ALL THINGS not just that of God.}

John 10 (KJV)

30. I and my Father are one.

What is just as important is that God the Father is a Spirit. To know, worship, and be of the Father, we also must be of the Spirit. This is what Jesus did for us; He bridged the gap between the physical and spiritual.

John 4 (KJV)

24. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Understand, the knowledge you need is: when we are saved,, we are not of the church or Christ; but saved only. In addition, when we are saved, we are saved due to the Blood of Jesus. There are no other covenants God has with any others; the only way to God is VIA Jesus.

John 14 (KJV)

6. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Here is another area where Satan has gotten the lie into the church of this world. Some believe that the Jews have a special covenant with God or that God has ways for others to make it other than Jesus. This is not so…it is lie. The only way to God is Jesus; a price had to be paid, and the only one who paid that price was Jesus.

Jesus calls us to Him, and this is the start of our salvation. We have the choice of accepting Him or not. Some say that we cannot accept or reject; that it is already done for us. This too is a lie. It is a lie because it will lead some to believe as long as they are good and live a life that is good, they will make it; but they will not. How can we accept or reject? First, if this were not possible, it would not matter what we do. However, since we have a free will, we are able to accept or reject. Now there are those who believe all we can do is reject. Again, this leads people in the same lie as I talked about above.

There are some that mistake their call from Jesus to be saved as a call to the ministry; this is why so many are leaving the ministry daily. And some even fall away and cause others to fall away as well.

We are called (Many) to be saved, and from there if we are open to God and seek Him, He will reveal to us who Jesus is as the Christ (Matthew 16:15-18). This is the first step to becoming a part of the church.

Matthew 16 (KJV)

15. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

16. And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

17. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

18. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

16.

|2316| God

|3588| the

|2198| living!

Strong's Ref. # 4074

Romanized Petros

Pronounced pet'-ros

a primary word; a (piece of) rock (larger than GSN3037); as a name, Petrus, an apostle:

KJV--Peter, rock. Compare GSN2786.

{One of the reasons so many have a hard time comprehending this is because of the word Peter (Petros) in verse 16. Remember, at the time the King James Bible was written, the main if not only religion was what is now known as the Catholicism. The Church of England was still being formed at this time. Based on verse 16, the Catholics believe that the Pope is Peter; and the Pope is a man here that stands between mankind and God.

When those translating the word of God reached verse 16 they translated the "Petros" to Peter (a proper name) instead of the word it should be…the "rock" or a "piece of the rock". Doing otherwise would have caused a big problem for the Catholic Church. Note that although the Church of England was new, it was still based in the Catholic belief.}

Therefore, when God reveals (spiritual revelation to the physical) to a person who Jesus is as the Christ, the person is becoming a part of the church. However, they are still not yet of Christ (Few are chosen); each group gets smaller and smaller. Satan knows fully that even if we are saved, we are still able to fall away, if:

So, we are still in his grasp or at least in his reach.

This is why the "once saved always saved" teaching is very dangerous and wrong. Many believe that as long as they are baptized in water, they are saved; and once saved always saved. Therefore, it gives them a clean slate to do as they wish. Another dangerous teaching is predestination - where in the beginning, God selected group "a" to make it and group "b" to eternal torment. Both of these teachings are lies and dangerous.

Before I go, on let me explain why baptism of water is nothing more than us showing our faith; and in no way saves us. In addition, if people die having not been baptized of water, they do not go to Hell for that.

Acts 1 (KJV)

5. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

Matthew 3 (KJV)

11. I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

14. But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?

15. And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.

16. And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

17. And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

John the Baptist said himself that Jesus would baptize with the Holy Ghost and fire not water.

Jesus was ending John's ministry and beginning His own when He was baptized.

John baptized repentance of sin where as Jesus is ours.

If we could do anything on our own to be saved, it would make Jesus life, death, and resurrection of no effect.

John 3 (KJV)

3. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

4. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

5. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6. That which is born of the flesh

The basis for the misunderstanding on the water issue can be found in John 3:5 above. What most people forget is that we are born of water; a woman's water breaks then the baby comes. We are mostly composed of water.

For Jesus to have authority here on earth, He had to be born of a woman; to be of the physical as well as the spiritual to bridge the gap.

"Predestination" - There are many verses that could be taken out of context to prove a point one way or another. You must read the entire New Testament and see for yourself. God did foreknow us all, and He did see into the future; He saw who would and would not make it. He also foreknew which of us would be called upon, and which could be used as His tools here. That is the basic explanation of "predestination". Most people, who believe otherwise, do so for one of two reasons:

  1. They do not want to change - They want a way to live, sin, and not be accountable.
  2. They are legalistic and of the law - They cannot see grace. They are puppets of Satan; most may not ever realize they are puppets.

But to be of Christ is to have God, in us, on us and all the way through us.

Christ is from the Greek word Christos that in Hebrew means Messiah and in English means anointed.

Strong's Ref. # 5547

Romanized Christos

Pronounced khris-tos'

from GSN5548; anointed, i.e. the Messiah, an epithet of Jesus:

KJV--Christ.

To best understand what it means to be anointed, think of a sponge dripping of water. The sponge is anointed with water. That is how we are to be of God to be of Christ.

Jesus did tell us what He was anointed with.

Luke 4 (KJV)

18. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Jesus was anointed with the Spirit of the Lord. Since God is the Spirit, Jesus was anointed with God. Since Jesus is The Christ, Christ is the anointing of God on mankind.

To be of Christ is to be of the power and wisdom of God.

1 Corinthians 1 (KJV)

24. But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

The fruit that will be revealed on all that are of Christ is the same fruit of the Spirit.

Galatians 3 (KJV)

22. But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

23. But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.

In Matthew 7 Jesus said that His followers will be known by the their fruit. Understand, there are two sides. In us, the word of God, and all we will be, there must be a physical as well as spiritual. The fruit of the physical is doing as spoken in "James"; that is - when one has a need for food, clothing, etc., we help supply. This fruit alone can be done by anyone and only proves a person is charitable. Only when we are of God, can the fruit of the Spirit be evident in, on, and through us.

The existence of two sides, physical and spiritual, to the word and to those of Christ, is the reason for the need of the physical church.

Before we go further, let me share two other misunderstandings - prayer and comunion.

Prayer is very powerful and is suppose to be very private; not corporate.

Matthew 6 (KJV)

5. And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

6. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

7. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

When you pray ask only once for anything; then thank or praise God constantly for the answer. When we ask repeatedly, we show a lack of faith. There are some things we pray yet again for. Some things we pray for on a daily basis such as the blessing of our food, etc. However, when we ask God for something, we must have faith for the answer. So many people ask, and then as it is started, they ask again; it now has to start over.

A good example: imagine that you call a friend in New York on Friday and ask for $100. They say they will mail it out on Saturday. Since you live in California, you know it will take a few days to get to you. You talk to them again on Sunday…do you ask them again? If anything, you thank them.

Comunion is very intimate and private between you and the Lord.

1 Corinthians 10 (KJV)

16. The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the comunion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the comunion of the body of Christ?

16.

|3588| The

|4221| cup

|2127| we bless,

To have comunion with God is to partake or have fellowship in the most intimate manner.

One of the biggest lies told by pastors is that we are sinners and saints. That is the same as saying we are of the truth and the lie. The truth is never found in a lie; the lie is a lie…the truth is the truth. Carefully read the following statements:

  1. A little white lie.
  2. If it will spare their feelings a little white lie will not matter.
  3. The truth is not real but elusive.
  4. The truth is based on what one sees as the truth from each person the perspective of the truth is different. As such, this means there is no absolute truth.

These and more are told to confuse and to divert us from the truth, to conquer and divide. Remember, Satan will use any means necessary to divide and conquer us or to steal, kill, and destroy.

Ways Satan does this is:

  1. Morals are not what Satan is concerned about, but instead the authority of Jesus. A person cannot be saved based on being good or having high moral standards. The blood of Jesus can only save us.
  2. Satan will use the truth as he did with Eve to confuse and destroy.

In the beginning Satan did not lie, he used a lie to confuse Eve.

Genesis 3 (KJV)

1. Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

2. And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

3. But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

4. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

5. For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

In Gen 3:3 Eve states they may not touch; God never said they could not touch. WHO added, "touch"? It was not Eve; she had no reason to so. It was not God; so, that leaves Adam. As with some parents, Adam took it a step further than God had stated.. Out of love, we, as parents, tell our children things to protect them. That is what Adam did. He wanted to protect Eve; so he figured he would just add one thing…that one thing led to their sinning. Once Eve touched the fruit and nothing happened, she of course she then ate. Consequently, when Adam saw Eve eat and nothing happened, he felt that it was ok for him as well. But the problem is that God never said Eve or anyone else could not eat of the fruit only that Adam could not. God is very specific; if He meant for anyone else not to eat, He would have said that. Before you say that He did not because there was no one else at the time He told Adam, He knew fully there would be more. Just because you do not have children yet does not mean you treat everything and everyone as if they never would be.

Genesis 2 (KJV)

17. But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

If you read Genesis 2 and 3 very carefully, you will see that nothing happened until Adam ate of the fruit; the trigger was in him. God had set the rule with Adam; and only Adam could be disobedient.

Jesus had power and authority. He was followed for this reason and not due to His signs and wonders. If you read the Gospels, you will notice He was getting crowds before He really healed anyone.

Matthew 9 (KJV)

5. For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?

6. But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.

Matthew 12 (KJV)

31. Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

32. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

Matthew 27 (KJV)

20. But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.

21. The governor answered and said unto them, Whether of the twain will ye that I release unto you? They said, Barabbas.

22. Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified.

Remember what Paul wrote about casting down all vain imaginations; above is a perfect example how Satan got his way just by forcing his thoughts on the crowd.

I want to point out something that is not well known. But before I do I need to show you something of the time this was all happening. By law, the Jews had to go to Jerusalem to participate in the Passover; most, if not all of the Jews, were there that morning yelling to crucify Jesus. Some of those present had been fed (a fish and bread), healed, and more by Jesus. Yet, they still yelled, "crucify Him"!

Matthew 27 (KJV)

52. And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

53. And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

Remember, the Jews were in Jerusalem due to the Passover. Jesus was crucified on Friday; the Sabbath was Saturday. Since it was against the law to do anything on the Sabbath including travel, the first day they could have headed back to their homes was Sunday. Sunday was when Jesus raised from the grave, and He did not rise alone. All in paradise who believed in Him also rose. They had to confess Jesus as Lord and Savior; so, they went into the holy city (Jerusalem) to do just that. Now, walking down the streets come the previously departed loved ones (parents, children, etc.) and friends; they said, He, whom you yelled on Friday to crucify, is Lord.

Why was Jesus in the grave three days? What did He do?

He was there one day for each year of His ministry. He was there to give all that had died previously a chance at salvation. Still, not all believed and accepted, because it says that many were raised, not all.

What you are about to read was not a parable but a true story. It tells us that there was a place called "Abraham's bosom" (paradise) and "Hell"; and that between them was a gulf to keep those in Hell, in Hell.

Luke 16 (KJV)

20. And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

21. And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

22. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

23. And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

24. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

25. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

26. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

27. Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

28. For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

29. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

30. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

31. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Jesus did not sin, so the sin He had when He entered Hell was not His. It could not remain; and when it was no longer on Him, He was able to leave or actually, He was forced out of the grave. However, before He left, He taught all who would listen to Him, and those who listened and believed were able to leave when He left..

Before showing you some of the other things people have a tendency to miss let's read why they had to confess Jesus as Lord.

Romans 10 (KJV)

9. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

For with the mouth you have to confess, so they had to confess to be saved. Since there is no other record of them, they must have ascended with Jesus after confessing. I say this because, if they had stayed around beyond that day, more would have been said about them in history or scripture. And we know Jesus did ascend that day.

John 20 (KJV)

17. Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

We know that after this, others touched Him. One example of this was Thomas' touching Jesus to prove to himself it was the Lord.

I have added this verse because some believe Jesus was never alone. He had to be alone at the last moment or else sin could not enter Him.

Matthew 27 (KJV)

46. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? That is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Luke 23 (KJV)

40. But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

41. And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

42. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

43. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

Paradise is used as a reference for Heaven; however, based on what was said at the cross, it was referring to Abraham's Bosom. Since Jesus did not ascend until after His resurrection, His coment about that day they would be in paradise together could only mean Abraham's bosom.

This started with the authority of the word and of Jesus. I wanted to cover this because I am noticing an alarming amount of Christians who are not using the name of Jesus as the reason for salvation, moral standards, etc. As Christians, which is being Christ like or having the power and wisdom of God in, on and through us, we must never forget this could not be without Jesus. And that all authority and power was given to Jesus and we are able to use it in His name. God wanted us to understand that the word was in the beginning as He was and that nothing was, would or can be done without it, and the word became flesh and dwelt among us.

John 1 (KJV)

14. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

{In all things do it in the name of Jesus and in all things do it with the mind of Christ}.

John 14 (KJV)

13. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

15. If ye love me, keep my comandments.4

If you have any doubt about salvation, your salvation, being born again, the word of God or God, then seek God to help you to be what you need and should be of God.

Speaking in tongues, falling away, or out in the Spirit is evidence of the Spirit of God at work. If you have never experienced either, that does not mean you are not born again. I know some say you must speak in tongues to be of the Spirit; but that is judging and we are not to judge.

Matthew 7 (KJV)

1. Judge not, that ye be not judged.

2. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

3. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

4. Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

5. Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

Sadly, many know John 3:16 but most do not know John 3:17.

John 3 (KJV)

17. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

The word "condemn" above also means to judge. Who are we to judge, when Jesus did not come to judge.

I will say that speaking tongues, as form of prayer, is not just a blessing, but needed to help you in your battle with Satan.

The following is the evidence of the Spirit of God in and on us.

Galatians 3 (KJV)

22. But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

23. But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.

The fruit of the spirit and speaking in tongues are proof of the Spirit.

Today more and more churches are country clubs more concerned about numbers than souls.

And a problem we have today started in the first century church, now think about it, if it started almost 2000 years ago, how much worse is it today/

1 Corinthians 1 (KJV)

11. For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.

12. Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.

13. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?

Re-read verse 12 and replace Paul, Apollos, and Cephas with your own churches name and the names of other denominations.

Did you know the word denomination means to "divide"

Matthew 12 (KJV)

25. And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

I know some of you are thinking that all I am showing is a need to judge or how will we know who is of God and who is not? That is exactly why it is so important you are hearing from God and taught of God and not mankind.

John 14 (KJV)

26. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

I know you read it already but it is very important that we are to learn all things, not just that of God or some things, but ALL things from God and not mankind.

1 John 2 (KJV)

27. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

"Christ" means anointing and the anointing is God, in, on, and through us.

For those of you who think we are to learn it all from the Bible and not actually hear the voice of God, then why would John tell us to test that we are hearing from? To be sure it is God and not Satan.

1 John 4 (KJV)

1. Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

2. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

3. And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Here the blessing verses. I call them that because they are just that…pure blessings.

1 Peter 5 (KJV)

7. Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Of all the blessing verses, this verse is generally missed or very misunderstood. The word "careth" means "problems, health issues, anxiety, relationship problems, etc". To cast them upon God means to give them to Him and let go; that they are no longer yours at all. The only way anyone can do this is by faith.

Hebrews 11 (KJV)

6. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

So the only way to please God is to give Him your problems and for you to be problem free.

"Faith" is believing without doubt. And faith comes by hearing and understanding by Jesus. (Romans 10:17)

any believe that the spirit, faith and other aspects of Christianity ended in the first-century church. That is not so; we are told God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow,

Philippians 4 (KJV)

13. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

19. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

There are so many more, but they can be found just by reading the word of God.

Order of importance in our life.

  1. God first in all things.
  2. Spouse
  3. Children *

* Children are second until they are of age; then they are third

Remember the authority of Jesus and the power of Christ are both yours. Most of all, your relationship with God is as a child with a parent; and should be the first and most important thing of your life. If you are right with God and obedient, then you can be so much more and do so much more for your wife and children than you can ever imagine.

God will have a day of revenge, but He is not all revenge as some want to make Him. He is a loving, caring Father, who only wants the best for us. If you are a good parent with children and love them, then you have an idea of what God is and wants for you. What do you have to lose? If you do nothing, you could lose it all; and spend eternity where it is very bad. In this world, either by Satan's design or man's misdirection, God is not shown as He truly is. He is described and considered as vengeful, wrathful, and judgmental - demanding a very strict and sacrificial life. This is the biggest lie ever.

Description(s) of how God truly is:

He is love.

He is Peace.

He is Joy.

He is Patience.

He is Kindness.

He is Goodness.

He is Gentleness.

He is Faithful.

He is self-control.

He is all of this and wants nothing more than to be a part of your life; to share this and more with you.

Satan wants us divided, and he has done his job better than we have. I consider Satan as the evil stepchild who is envious, proud, arrogant, selfish, self-centered, hateful, and evil.

In the past 19 pages, I have tried to clear up any confusion or misteaching. Most of all, I have tried to help you understand that it does not stop at salvation (being born again) but starts there. What is ahead is wonderful and can make your life the most wonderful and joyful time.

If you want to grow, all you have to do is ask. Spend thirty minutes a day, everyday…avoid, at all cost, missing any sessions. However, if this happens, do not let it stop you. Find a quiet place, free of distractions, and sit and listen for His voice. Do this daily until you hear; after that, listen even more. For some, it takes as long as a year or more; for others, it happens as short as a day. The time it takes is based on your comitment, age, the walls (of this world and religion you) have - He has to overcome to reach you. Remember when you start; ask Him "in the name of Jesus I ask to be able to hear from you Father God directly".

Most hear inward and some have a hard time telling the difference between their own inward voice and that of God. One way that will help is receiving answers to questions that you know there was no way you knew. But try, and try, and try.

One thing helps a lot. It deals with the tithe. Think about how, out of all giving, the tithe is the most disliked to be heard or spoken of. There is a reason for this - Satan knows the tithe is tied into learning. Before you get the idea that I am picking your pocket or hitting you up for money, understand I do not want your tithe or your money. I just want that which God has for me; not what man has for me.

Notice how in Mark 4:12-20 how Jesus describes how there are four groups of people who try to grow in the word of God. And only one group grows 100% and the other three groups either do not grow or grow only 30% or 60% that means either only 30% or 60% will grow without aide, or those who grow will grow 30% or 60% of what they could.

Mark 4:12-20 Jesus tells of good ground that is needed to grow 100% and what makes ground good is something that keeps the insects out, or that rebukes that which attacks the good ground. And then in Malachi 3:11 we are told those who tithe He will rebuke that which attacks your ground.

Remember I said there was a physical and spiritual side to the Bible. The physical side is that the tithe protects our income and the spiritual is that it prevents what we have learned to be lost.

Malachi 3 (KJV)

11. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.

Mark 4 (KJV)

12. That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

13. And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?

14. The sower soweth the word.

15. And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh imediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

16. And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, imediately receive it with gladness;

17. And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, imediately they are offended.

18. And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,

19. And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

20. And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

In the translating of the Bible they used fold above in Mark 4:20 but actually it should of been percent (%).

I can testify that before the tithe, I lived from paycheck to paycheck; after the tithe, we live more in abundance than lack. I know of many that can testify to this as well. As with all things of God, hearing from Him, faith, and the tithe it takes time. That is why there are those, who do not believe in any or all the three; they tried it once or twice and it did not work for them. The problem was either they did not really believe or that they tried it instead of accepting it. If you are going to try, do not give it a day or week or two; give it the time it needs, and put your heart into it.

I have been standing for ten years for one thing. I am still standing for it and will stand for it as long as I am here until I get it or am no longer here. But I can say there have been many, and I mean many things I have stood for that I have gotten.
