Who is the Author?

Think of this, two people read a book. They both get a different meaning of the book. One day they meet the author of the book and ask him about the book. To their surprise they find out they both were wrong, and they learn the actual meaning was very simple. They were trying to make more of it than there was. Of course the book is the Bible the men are mankind, and the author is God. Until you are hearing from God it is hard if not impossible to know whom God has placed in your life and whom Satan has. Satan will deceive us all as much as he can and as often as he can but with God we will always be on good, firm ground. You see I can say that I am a good man and honest until the moon turns blue. But you have no idea if I am being honest or even meaning to be honest, not 100%. Satan knows that if he keeps us busy enough we will be too tired, too busy, too tied up with the tings of the world to get to know God. It is up to us to take the time and seek God. Yes, it can be very hard when you work 18-hour days, and have to come home to children, or to study for school. But nothing will change that until we know God and not just know about God. Most people do not understand the difference of knowing about God and knowing God. They do not even know there is a difference. They have been taught that the word is all we need that by reading the word we know God. Anyone who is truly honest with themselves will admit just by reading even the best of written material only shows a part of the author and no way can anyone know a person just by his or her written words. Actually we do not know God by reading the Bible. We can use it to learn how to find and know God; it is like a manual. Religion has made sacraments of different things of God. Like comunion, baptism, Gospels readings, etc. None of which was ever supposed to be a sacrament or holy. Only God is holy, no written material or activity we do can be holy. Only that which is God is holy. Mark 10 17. And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? 18. And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. In the above verse Jesus states none is good but one, that is, God. This shows we do not even understand the meanings of our own words much less those of God. Did you know saying "God Bless you" to someone when they sneeze is taking God's name in vain? Most do not realize this and even some get offended at hearing it, but the idea of over using anything makes it in vain. When we say "God" so much that it has no meaning anymore is proof of this. Look at how when someone says "God Bless you" or uses God in any text how it does not stand out, but blends with the other words as if it has no meaning at all. What I am trying to convey here is that as hard as it may seem to dedicate the time daily to actually hear God's voice, is preferable to what would happen if you do not. You can continue as you have, long days, hard work, bad relationships, getting hurt time after time, or in time after listening for, actually hear the voice of God and have Him guide you. Then you will find your days are not so long, the work is not so hard, and your relationships will improve 100 fold. It is your choice, a few weeks or even months now, and leave all that behind, or years more of what you have been through. If you choose to hear from God, you will email me and tell me how much you wish you had done it sooner. Then you will know all about me and if I am honest or not. It is so sad that people will spend tens of thousands of dollars, go in debt and spend 18 or more hour days for 6-8 years to become a doctor. What do they get in return? Will it add one minute to their life? Does it guarantee an income? No to both, but a few weeks, months at the most listening to God and both can be reality. Even if they do not manifest imediately, the peace that comes makes it worth while. So the best thing you can do, is take 30 minutes a day (at the minimum) and find a place free of distractions that is quiet and sit and listen for the voice of God. Ask Him once to help you hear Him. Not just through His word, but actually hear His voice. Do this daily (no breaks) until you hear from Him then ask one question "Did Jesus come in the flesh?" If the answer you get is "No" then tell Satan to go to Hell, but if you hear yes, just be obedient to what you hear. This can take some time, it must be done daily, but if you really want what you prayed for, this is the best way to get it. There are those who try hard to prove their point (which is to listen to man, not God).
The real shame is these people, as do so many, have doubts and can not move on until they get others to see they are right, or their doubts will grow. They have to be right, no matter what the truth is.
Thoughts only come from one of two places. They are either forced by Satan (most never realize they are accepting Satan's thoughts), or the other is from God's thoughts. The latter is the harder of the two since Satan is like a thief and a rapist forcing himself on people, and God is a gentleman and has to be sought.
2 Corinthians 10
5. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
In Romans 8:16 we are told God will call us His children. I can say that when anyone hears (actually hears His voice) this, all doubt about Him and the truth disappear. We know, and what we do not, He teaches and explains.
The bottom line is if you really want to be blessed, stop talking to God so much and start listening. He has not stopped talking to us, we stopped listening to Him.
