Jerry Wilhite, author I do not get into the politics of the day, and I am not now. And if you are expecting me to come down on one side or the other with any issue in governments, politics or anything other than scripture, you will be disappointed. But as far as how some are reacting towards those who speak their mind and heart I have only one thing to say. And that is: John 8 3. And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, 4. They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. 5. Now Moses in the law comanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? 6. This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. 7. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. 8. And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. 9. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10. When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? And now I will say of us all, this includes me as well, if you (or I) have never made a statement or said something we later regreted then you are a minority of one. Because I know I have said things I wish I never had especially in the heat of anger. And sometimes they (in the past before I knew the Lord) could be very hurt full. So if you are free of sin, cast the first stone. Mark 11 25. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. 26. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses. I do not want to blow my next life over something as little or much as un-forgiveness. I was once asked what about someone who kills a child? I know the child went to heaven and is in a better place, and I would not want to spend eternity apart from the child because who killed the child then killed me spiritually. And that is what un-forgiveness does it kills us Spiritually. So to forgive is the only answer, then I know in time I would be with my child. And remember someone who can kill (murder) another for any reason can not be of God. And if they are not of God, I remember what Jesus said on the cross about those who were not of God: Luke 23 33. And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. 34. Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. Those of you who have read other studies here know I preach do not take anything you read or hear (including from us) as truth until you have verified it with God. And when you hear from God be sure it is God you are hearing from by asking one question: 1 John 4 1. Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3. And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Some of you may think that forgiveness is divine and to err is Human, but I tell you now, based on the Bible we have to forgive. And if we do not and find our selves in spots we do not like we have only one to blame and that is ourself. Matthew 7 1. Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4. Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5. Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
