Christmas, Drugs, Lies
Jerry Wilhite, author I know the title seems strange, but I am just tired of the way Christmas has become nothing more than a day to make or break retailers. If Christmas is what it takes then maybe it is time we stop buying and do from the heart; either make things to give, or give something else that is even more limited - our time. I really wonder if our kids need more items to keep them busy or more of our own time. Can you imagine what would happen if Christmas returned totally to what it was suppose to be about? Yes, some retailers would fold, but I wonder if in time they would not fold anyway. I was once a retailer and I was even caught up in the spirit of Christmas (retail sales) and that was back in the late 80's. Look at what it has become since then. Why I called this Christmas, Drugs and Lies is because they all are the same. The lie of Christmas' meaning and the lie of drugs we are suppose to need. I Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. In the above verse it says "YE WERE HEALED" meaning healed before we ever were born. If we were raised with the above knowledge and not the knowledge of all of the medicine we are told we need, I believe we would not need the medicine if we were raised on the truth instead of a lie (to make money for some company). I was watching the news and a report was out stating how many companies promoting drugs were not telling the truth about what they could do, claiming much more than they ever could do. Plus, do not forget the disclaimers now - oh, yes get rid of that sinus problem, but you may get sick, throwing up, cramps (worse than the sinus headach) back aches, and even possible death. Yes, I heard this one, and many more like it, and I am sure you have as well. Starches are out. Red meat is out. Starches are in. Protein is out. Fruit and vegetables need to be at least served 3 times a day. More than 1 serving of fruit could cause problems. Fish is in. Fish is out due to mercury poisoning. Red meat can help in some ways so it is back in. Protein should not be mixed with starches. A portion of protein should be eaten with all starches. How can we believe the so called professionals when they do not even know. Oh yes there are those who will not eat red meat, or other meats due to the fact it is eating one of God's living creatures, but then God gave a list of what should and should not be eaten and there was meat in it. Then the Pharisees came along and condemned Jesus followers for not cleaning their hands up to their elbows before eating. Matthew 15 1. Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying, 2. Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread. 3. But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the comandment of God by your tradition? The problem I have is that we listen to man and not God, but He will not lie to us. John 14:26. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. In the above verse Jesus did not list listening to any man or woman at all. It is due to listening to men/women that we are in the mess we are in. Too many will turn the television or radio on and listen to some man/woman of God and that is that. As far as they are concerned it is said and there is nothing more needed to be said. I say that is a sin, a sin of the worst kind; a sin to follow man and not God. Jesus never said to listen to man, but the Holy Spirit. Yes, you have to hear and understand what is said or written to know to do so. Once someone is listening to a man and after a time there is nothing said about listening to God over man, then the person could be in worse trouble than if they never even had heard that person speak to begin with. I have no real followers I hope, just those learning all they can, listening to God, and then what they do hear from me they take to God to verify it. 1 John 4: 1. Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3. And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. John would never have written the above 3 verses if it were not to be taken and used. That means hearing from God, one on one. I know with a lot of ministry leaders what I am saying is unpopular, but the fact is Jesus was not to popular with the ministry leaders of His day either, so I am in good company. So why should you listen or read what I write? If reading through the 375+ studies gets you to a point where you are so well trained that you go to God with every word written at godsgifttoyou.com, then you have learned to listen to Him and in time to listen to Him only. I have talked to some who have in the past associated with the Copeland's, Osteen's, etc to be men of God, who now do not. Not because they are bad, or that they do not have the time, but because they have come to learn how to use that time listening to God and not a man. They have learned a lot and had more than their share of attacks. Why are they attacked? Satan never wants anyone to know they can talk to, and with, and listen to God. That destroys all Satan is, and his power, but he uses others who do not realize they are being used to attack. Remember in WWII most if not all of the population of the US could not believe anyone could be so evil as Hitler, but it was not soon after the end of the war the truth came forward and was known. Many who may have been upset with our men being killed over seas started to realize they were wrong. Then there were those who, before the war, thought that it was better to be friends with Hitler, found out 6,8, and more years later that they had been friends with evil. We can all be misled even by those with the best of intentions, only God can set us straight. In the late 4th century the ruler of Rome, with the best intentions at heart, made a law that for anyone to be of power, government, own land, etc they must believe in Jesus. As good as this sounds, all it did was get non-believers to say they believed when they did not. That is how we ended up with leaders of the church led the world to holy crusades, inquisition, and in time a break up of the church itself. I am not saying who you listen to is wrong or not of God. What I am saying is you should not accept a word from anyone without first taking it to God and verifying it with Him. 1 John 2: 27. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. I have shown you verses from Jesus and John showing that it is God, via His Spirit, from whom we are to learn all, and not man. How then does godsgifttoyou.com serve man and God if this is true? Read a few more studies you will see in them how you will be taught the make up of the kingdom and in such how there is only one to listen to. You will be taught to listen to and hear from God. I am not here to be popular, I am here to bring the truth. I have had many attacks, or at the least many who try to debate me and change my mind, but that won't happen, ever, because before it is written it is verified and there is no man or woman alive I will believe over God. There is nothing that could even get me to flicker in my belief much less change. Before you read something I wrote and want to argue, go to God, ask Him first, be sure it is Him. Get the answer straight from the same mouth I did.
