Truth, is it Really Out There?

The truth is out there! We have heard that before on TV, people say it, and others, but it is out there. There are people out there searching for the truth, aliens, demons as aliens, and yes even the Lord.

Do you believe what you see on television, especially comercials ? How many do you see are even close to the truth? Can you get great abs just by attaching a device that works you out? And those comercials show people with perfect a body. Or how about, Lose weight, 10 lbs in 7 days, and it goes on and on. We are programed to believe the lie as the truth.

I have always wondered why there is not someone out there that is in charge of making sure what is advertised is accurate, or at the very least truthful.

We watch movies and television shows that we know are not true. Shows telling us of a wonderful future where mankind finally gets it right. No prejudice, no judging all with the same things, no money. We watch these shows in hope of a future that can be, all we want it to be and more. So, to some degree, we start believing in the lie. This is why we have trouble with the truth.
What really gets me is how many say, after watching the horrors of the nightly news, they then need to see something that is funny, uplifting something with hope.

If those who seek the truth find it and it does not set them free in some area of their life, then it is not the real truth. Some have asked me, "What if I play it safe and believe in God?" and do it to cover all of the bases is wrong and are not covered.

The idea is this, if someone really is wanting to find the truth and there is no God, then we are ALL in a world of hurt. If there is a God and they are believing just to play it safe, THEY are going to be in a world of hurt.

Nothing anyone can ever say will ever change my mind because I sought the truth and I found it. When I did it was of such force it set me free in so many areas and ways that after spending time with the Lord, now no one can ever take that away or change my beliefs.

Anyone who searches the for truth will find God at the end of their search and find Him there waiting for them. When they hear His voice there will never again be anyone who can steal it, but we can give it up.

Romans 8

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

The truth is unknown to most, and mostly in the word of God. For example, the truth about healing is not known to most Christians.

I asked Christians in a survey which is true:

1. We will be healed by faith.

2. We are healed by our faith.

3. We are healed by His stripes.

4. By His stripes we were healed.

The 4th which is the right answer was the least picked.

Another truth, what is a Christian?

1. Someone who knows Jesus.

2. Someone who is of God.

3. Someone baptized in water.

4. Someone who is Christ Like.

This time again the 4th is the correct answer, and even though more got this one right, it was almost equal across the board.

Another truth what does it mean to be Christ like?

1. To follow after Jesus.

2. To walk as Jesus walked.

3. To believe in God.

4. To be of the anointing in all areas.

Most missed the correct answer #4, 1-3 again were picked more.

Another truth what is John 3:17?

To help here is John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

In this study one of the truths we are dealing with is truth, as above we read that the truth we know and only the truth we know sets us free. Meaning knowing the truth in a certain area will set us free in that area only.

So if you know that walking into fire will burn you, then the truth of the harm fire can do sets you free from being harmed by fire.

The following verses talk about truth that set you free in all areas if you can take it and make it part of your innermost being.
