Before you read this study understand that we do not teach, we share and then ask all who read the following take it to God and verify it with Him. We believe a lot of the world is misled by the church of the world and religion vs the one true church. And to know the truth can only come from knowing, not just knowing of God, John 14:26, I John 2:27, Rev 3:19-22.
Many are called but few are chosen because many are misled by false teachers Matthew 7:13-15 so we help all who wants to know the truth how to find and know the truth of and by God and not of and by man.

What is the Gospel ? In English it means Good News. What Good News ?

Luke 4:18 "The Spirit of the LORD {is} upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the good news (gospel) to {the} poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to {the} captives, and recovery of sight to {the} blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed;"
Luke 4:19 "To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD."

So Jesus was Anointed with the Spirit of the Lord to tell the Good News. Now in the study on Christ we learned Christ (Greek word) means Anointed in English. We also learned in I Cor. 1:24 that Christ (The Anointed) is the power and wisdom of God. And if God had and has the power to create all there is, then He has the power to do all He promises. When Jesus came proclaming the acceptable year of the Lord, He was saying there is a way back, a way back to the grace (Spiritual power to excel) of God. So first we know that in Is 10:27 the anointing has the power to remove burdens and utterly destroy yokes. Jesus said He was and is The Anointed.

So if the anointing is Christ and we accept Jesus for salvation, we also are getting a bridge back to God. It is a bridge that was burned by the first sin of Adam. By having this bridge (Holy Spirit) restored to us, we have access to all the power and wisdom of God.

It cost a price. A Price you or I can not pay or could not ever have paid. It was the price of Jesus going to the cross and dying for you and me. A price that all we can do is accept the outcome.

So what is the Good News:
1. It is eternal life.
2. It is having a connection to God Himself.
3. It is being free of poverty.
4. It is Healing.
5. It is all the fruit of the Spirit (Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Gentleness, Faithfullness ,and Self Control)

It is so much more. It is not being under the law. It is being forgiven. And when ever we fall (sin), if we ask for forgiveness, mean it and really try not to do it again we are forgiven. God also forgets it, so if you bring it up again or if Satan tries to use it against you God won't remember. So don't remind Him.

The Good News is not of works or acts. Even though the effect of the Good News (Jesus in your life) will produce these things. It is not about being holy or sanctified by yourself. That comes with salvation. Jesus paid the price for your holiness and sanctification through His blood at the cross. But it is about having a relationship with God.

The only thing we can do is have the relationship and protect it with all of our heart soul and mind. How do we do that? By not allowing anything to come between us and God. And if there is anything in our life that does, we get it out and get rid of it forever.

The only other thing we can do is be obedient to God. And that is by what Jesus told Peter: John 21:21 Peter, seeing him, said to Jesus, "But Lord, what {about} this man?" 21:22 Jesus said to him, "If I will that he remain till I come, what {is that} to you? You follow e."

We follow Jesus. What did Jesus do, when He was here, He was obedient to the Father unto death. You ask how do we hear from God ? First go back and go through the Bible study "Hearing the Voice of God", but for now read Romans 8:16.

So the most important thing you can do is not works, but taking time out each and every day to spend with your Father in heaven.

The Good News, it is LIFE, and LIFE more abundantly. Not giving up life but claiming true life.

And when Jesus said to go out and preach the Gospel "GOOD NEWS" it wasn't works related. It was Love related. He knew when you get in the right relationship with Him and God. You would have a hard time doing anything else.
