Before you read this study understand that we do not teach, we share and then ask all who read the following take it to God and verify it with Him. We believe a lot of the world is misled by the church of the world and religion vs the one true church. And to know the truth can only come from knowing, not just knowing of God, John 14:26, I John 2:27, Rev 3:19-22.
Many are called but few are chosen because many are misled by false teachers Matthew 7:13-15 so we help all who wants to know the truth how to find and know the truth of and by God and not of and by man.

Forgiveness is Replaced by Judging

Pastor J. R. Wilhite, author   Close Window

I deal with people all the time online that have been abused by Christians and by the church they attended. They were treated as if they were the scum of the earth for many different reasons ranging from what they wore to what they believed. The sad thing is that this is part of Satan's plan to keep people from God. Satan has gotten many to believe they are called to be in the ministry when it was God calling them to listen to Him. So instead of listening and being guided by Him they are of the world, flesh, and everything else. Then they lead others down the same wrong path.

Matthew 7

21. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

The really sad thing is that I know not everyone is going down the narrow path, actually very few are.

Matthew 7

13. Enter ye in at the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14. Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

So few find the narrow gate because so many are misled.

Matthew 7

15. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

God repented of creating mankind in Genesis 6. When He and Moses were on the mountain God was ready to remove all the Jews and replace them because of their ways. Now we see the same things, the same problems in the world today, that caused God to repent of creating mankind and caused His desire to remove those there with Moses on the mountaintop.

People do not want to believe they can do nothing for their salvation, so they believe the only way to be saved is baptism with water. Now they have a part in it and they can believe based on what they did Vs what God did.

Ephesians 2

8. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9. Not of works, lest any man should boast.

They can’t believe in a baptism of the Spirit over water because again that is something of God and not them, even though John the Baptist said spirit baptism was preferred over water.

Matthew 3

11. I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

John 1

15. John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.

Then there are those who do not want to have any part in salvation. They want it to be done for them to the point that they believe in predestination in a such way where God, in the beginning, picked group A for salvation and group B for eternal torment. Subsequently they would have no choice in it and they can do nothing to change it. Both are wrong, of course, because God sent His Son to save all.

John 3

16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

It does not say, "to save those of group A," and if predestination, as I explained above, were true, then Jesus would never have had to even come down here, much less die.

John 20

24. But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.

25. The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.

26. And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.

27. Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

28. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

29. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

In verse 29 you find the key - blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. That means those who believe He is, and was, and is to come; He died for us, arose, and ascended into heaven; all He commanded and taught; and accept it on faith not on fact.

That which we need to believe is what I said above of course, but more.

Hosea 4

6. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Yes, the above verse is from the Old Testament not the New, but it still is true. Jesus discussed it in Mark 4 when he talked about the sower of the word. By the way you are a priest - read Revelation 1:6.

Mark 4

9. And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

10. And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable.

11. And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:

12. That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

13. And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?

14. The sower soweth the word.

15. And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

16. And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;

17. And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.

18. And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,

19. And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

20. And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

First of all in verse 20 where it says fold, in the Greek it is percent. So what is the difference? Fold means many times more than the 100%, where percent means only part, up to 100%.

There are four groups above in the sower of the word.

  1. Group one is the lost because they can never keep the word long enough to even be saved.
  2. Group two is those who are just saved. They have about 30% not enough to have roots but enough to be dangerous.
  3. Group three is saved and of the church. They have the greatest chance of all to weather all the storms that come their way. No guarantee, but out of the three groups so far they have the best chance.
  4. Group four is saved, of the church, and growing in Christ. Since they are in Christ they have 100% of the word and if they did fall away they never could return.

The problem is we believe what a man says, especially if he has a big following, but that is the last reason we should listen to anyone. The only way we can be 100% sure if what we read, see, or hear is true is if we ask God and He tells us.

Remember the way to destruction is wide and the way to God is narrow. So if so many are on the wide and so few on the narrow how can we be sure anyone is correct? There is only one way - by asking God.

Anyone who believes God sent His Son to die but can not then talk to those for whom such a great sacrifice was made is being misled or is of the enemy.

The idea that when we are saved we are automatically part of the church (community of God) and of Christ is also a lie spread to divide us.

Matthew 12

25. And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

If we are of Christ immediately at salvation then where is the power in us?

1 Corinthians 1

24. But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

Division was already starting in the first century church. In verse 12 place the names of your church and some other denominations you know of in place of Apollos, Paul, and Cephas.

1 Corinthians 1

11. For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.

12. Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.

13. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?

14. I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius;

15. Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name.

16. And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other.

17. For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

18. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

Do you see how their division was over baptism and then Paul says, "I was not sent to baptize but to preach the cross."

There are many forms of baptism. First you must know that the word baptism means immersion. We are to be immersed in the knowledge of Jesus, salvation, and into His death and resurrection. The one true baptism is of the Holy Spirit, neither water, nor anything we can have a part in on our own. It only can come from the Father as Jesus’ baptism did.

There is only one real, true church (community). In Revelation 1-3 Jesus sends letters to the seven churches. He finds only one is the one real and true church. The other six are not; they are lost.

The church (community of God) is made up of people who have received revealed knowledge from God the Father of whom Jesus is as The Christ and The Son of the Living God. It is all based on hearing in the Spirit not the flesh.

Matthew 16

15. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

16. And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

(Notice Simon is already called Peter even before verse 18.)

17. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

[The Father revealed to Peter (while Jesus was still with them) not flesh and blood.]

18. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

A lot of confusion over these verses is caused because the Latin (Catholic) Vulgate used a proper name for Petros in verse 18 (Peter) instead of what should have been used "a piece of the rock". The reason why they did this was to validate the Pope’s being of Peter and Peter’s being the church foundation. Now read it as if it had been "a piece of the rock" instead of "Peter".

18. And I say also unto thee, That thou art a piece of the rock, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Jesus was sent to undo what Adam did with the original sin and that was to re-unite Mankind to God the only way possible, via the Spirit.

John 4

23. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

24. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

The Son of God saved us, Jesus is the head of the church, and Christ is the Spirit of God, in, on, and through us. These are the 3 facets of our Lord.

John 14

26. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

You can accept the fact that if you hear from God then you will know what is true and what is not, or you can follow man and never know for sure until you meet God in person.

Here is how we hear from God:

1. We have a desire to hear from Him.

2. We ask for His help.

3. We find a place that is free from distractions and quiet.

4. We go to this place daily and spend at least 30 minutes there.

5. We sit quietly not thinking or doing anything.

6. For most they will fall asleep since the body is trained to go to sleep if they are still, and quiet for a few minutes. So what you have to do is retrain the body not to fall asleep at this time.

7. We do this daily for as long as it takes until we hear. For most it is 6 months, but there have been a few that took only a few weeks, and a few that took longer. It depends on how many walls there are in you.

8. When you hear you ask one question, "Did Jesus Christ come in the flesh?" If you hear, "no" tell Satan to go to Hell. If you hear, "yes" you listen, and in time ask questions.

9. You allow this to grow in you, from 30 minutes a day, to hours a day until you are hearing constantly.

One - we do out of love.

Two - starts the joy as He helps us.

Three - we find the peace to hear from Him.

Four - our patience is put to the test.

Five - kindness can come up and from us due to being quiet and still and allowing it.

Six - involves goodness, which is of God, and it is with God that we can re-train the body.

Seven - gentleness happens because in this time spent quietly, God is also working in us. Gentleness is His way and we will realize it.

Eight - is where faith is evident because to ask the question requires faith.

Nine - is where self-control is required to continue on daily.

As we start, follow through, and finally hear from God the fruit of the Spirit is working in us, and does so daily as we continue to hear from Him.

Galatians 5

22. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23. Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

There is a problem we must overcome during this; it is our thoughts, not just keeping them quiet but also gaining control over them.

2 Corinthians 10

5. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

As we gain control of our thoughts and we hear from God, we start to realize that the lies we have heard, spread, and told have built many walls in us in the process. When we start to realize the truth and the walls come down, one of the first things we will have to work on and realize is how important it is that we remove judging.

If we are not careful, our forgiveness will be replaced by judging. All confrontations, sin, and lies come from some form of judging or prejudging.

Matthew 6

14. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

15. But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

So to get into forgiveness we must first get out of judging.

Matthew 7

1. Judge not, that ye be not judged.

2. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

3. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

4. Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

5. Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

Once you get the revelation of judging you will see that judging replaces forgiveness. Since without our forgiving we are not forgiven, so we are not saved.

Matthew 6

14. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

15. But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Jesus never told us to do anything we were not able do. We only believe we can not do something because that is what the world says.

So what are some of the top lies told to us by the world (Satan)?

  1. We can not hear from God. It is ok to talk to Him as long as He does not answer. So we are taught we can speak to Him but He is limited and can not speak to us. What a lie!
  2. Faith was for the first century not today. The reason most have told us this is they tried and gave up. They figured that if it did not work for them it would not for anyone else. It’s either that or they are puppets of Satan.
  3. The spirit ended in the first century (same reason as faith). They tried it and nothing happened or they were taught this and believed because of the fame of the one who taught them.

What scares Satan is that you will believe in the spirit and faith and hear from God. That’s when His lies start to crumble and his hold on us (that we never realized he had) is gone.

Faith has three levels to it that Jesus showed us in the gospels.

  1. A man was blind and Jesus got some mud, spit into it, and placed it on the blind man’s face. Then Jesus told him to go to the well and wash it off. When he did he could see. This is like our faith when we are first saved. It is some of faith mixed in with something we do or believe. One example would be doctors and hospitals - they can do little unless you have faith in them.
  2. The second level which is when we are saved and part of the church (community) was where Jesus spoke and laid hands on the blind man and he saw.
  3. The third was when we are saved, part of the church, and of Christ (where the power of God is). He spoke a word and the blind man saw.

You can research the three blind men from above, and while you are at it look up how Jesus could do little for the people in His home town due to their lack of faith.

Of course Jesus could heal each the same way, but He wanted their faith to work, not His, so He reached them on the level they were at in faith.

Here are some examples of how we should be researching and reading the word. We should seek the spiritual, the soul, and the physical side of each word in the Bible. The Father is the soul (mind, will and emotions) of God. The son is the body. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit.

Then there are three elements of Jesus as I said before. We are saved by the Son, For God so loved the world He sent His only begotten Son. It does not say He sent Jesus or Christ but His Son. Then in Matthew 16:15-18 we read how Jesus is the head of the church and how the church is based on how we hear from God. When God reveals (tells) to us who Jesus is as the Son and the Christ, not just who, but depth to each a full understanding of each then we are a piece of the church. Christ in English means Anointed one / anointing. In Luke 4:18 Jesus says He is anointed with the Spirit of God. Like a sponge dripping with water is anointed with water, when we are of Christ we should be this way with the Spirit. The fruit of the Spirit is evidence of just that.

When we are saved we have the Spirit in us. When we are baptized the spirit is on us, we start hearing from God (if we try) and then God reveals who Jesus is as the Son and the Christ and we are a piece of the church. It is when we are of Christ that it all comes together. Once saved always saved is not true, but once one is of Christ, they will always be of Christ. Until we are of Christ we have the flesh in between the Spirit and us. When we are of Christ then we have the spirit on us, in us, and all the way through us. This is when all of the walls are gone and nothing blocks us from God or His power and wisdom.

2 Thessalonians 2

7. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

8. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

So what would restrain the antichrist and Satan? Christ of course, because the power and wisdom of God is found in Christ. When we are of the Anointing, it is found in us.

1 Corinthians 1

24. But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

So those who are of Christ are restraining but they have to be removed for tribulation to start.

We know God is a loving God so He would not do away with those who are of Christ. So what happens to them? Is there a rapture?

Genesis 5

24. And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

Enoch was taken and no matter whether we call it rapture or taken or whatever. He did not die because he was taken and that was the first time.

2 Kings 2

11. And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

12. And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces.

Elijah did not die; he was taken or raptured and that was the second time.

Matthew 27

52. And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

53. And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

Those who came out of the grave with Jesus are not here now, so they were taken or raptured. That was the third time.

Acts 1

10. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

Jesus was taken, raptured, that was the fourth time. I believe there are three still to come: one pre-tribulation to take the power that restrains out so that which was restrained is not kept at bay any more. Then at mid-tribulation to remove that which restrains Satan which developed over the previous 3.5 years since the previous rapture. The final and seventh rapture will take place at the last moment of tribulation.

1 Thessalonians 5

9. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

The wrath comes at the end of tribulation, not during. Tribulation is a period of trial to get those sitting on the fence over to one side or the other. Then when that is done, all that were on the wrong side feel the wrath of God. Those who were not meant for His wrath will go up in the last rapture.

Matthew 24

29. Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

Seven in the Bible represents completion – as in seven days to a complete week.

I know I got a little off track here from the title, so just let me reiterate in closing that if you get out of forgiveness and start judging others, that judging nature will replace the forgiving nature. Remember that you cannot be forgiven if you do not forgive. Forgive yourself and forgive others who have wronged you. Pray for those who are sinning and do not judge them. That is the way Jesus did it. Can we do no less?

God Bless You as you hear His words and follow His leading.
