Praise Reports - Testimonies

It does not matter whether you call it a praise report or your testimony. Normally a testimony is the past from as far back as you can remember. A praise report is about a singular event and normally recent. Strong's Ref. # 3142 Romanized marturion Pronounced mar-too'-ree-on neuter of a presumed derivative of GSN3144; something evidential, i.e. (genitive case) evidence given or (specifically) the Decalogue (in the sacred Tabernacle): KJV--to be testified, testimony, witness. A testimony normally is about one's self and is about more than one thing. Strong's Ref. # 1843 Romanized exomologeo Pronounced ex-om-ol-og-eh'-o from GSN1537 and GSN3670; to acknowledge or (by implication of assent) agree fully: KJV--confess, profess, promise. #exon. See GSN1832. A praise report can be about one's self, about God, or just about anything, and can be any length. Strong's Ref. # 136 Romanized ainos Pronounced ah'-ee-nos a primary word; properly, a story, but used in the sense of GSN1868; praise (of God): KJV--praise. Where a testimony is normally the spoken word, praise can be singing, a musical instrument, it can even be quiet time. Strong's Ref. # 1867 Romanized epaineo Pronounced ep-ahee-neh'-o from GSN1909 and GSN0134; to applaud: KJV--comend, laud, praise. The main point of this study is that we should give a praise report as often as we can, our testimony at least once every couple of months. In the days of the book of Acts they would come together as often as they could, at least 3 times a day. Do you wonder why? Mostly they gathered to share praise reports. That is right, they could not get more than an hour or two apart and enough of them would be blessed enough for them to have to come together to share them all. Why were they so blessed? It was partly due to the fact they were mostly flowing heavily in the full anointing of the Spirit of God, and due to this they would be blessed and as such have praise reports to give. But also in giving the praise reports as often as they did they would boost each other up and keep everyone charged up to keep everyone flowing fully in the Spirit to the point that they would even have more praise reports. So what can we do today to have this happen for us? Of course the full flowing of the anointing of God's Spirit will help a lot. Until we all get there, we can start by sharing our present testimonies and then as soon as we get a praise report share it as well. As we each share our praise reports this will help elevate each other and help those who are a little lower on the ladder to move a little higher up the ladder. So, as one shares their praise report and then another and another we all spend time listening to God to hear from Him and studying His word so we are growing in His anointing as well. As you see, we can have it as they did in the days of Acts if we want it. All we have to do is to start sharing our testimonies and praise reports as soon as we get them. The problem is too many people think their praise reports are too small to matter or they think that if they wait until they have a bunch of them or a REALLY BIG ONE it will be better. That is totally the wrong Mattitude. We need to start now, no matter how small, and continue no matter how small. You never know who it may bless.
My prayer for you is: 3 John 1 2.
Remember to show faith when you pray, then praise and give thanks.
God Bless You as you hear His words and follow His leading.
