Blessed or Cursed?

 

If you are not blessed or have days that seem to be of the curse this study will help you walk constantly in the blessing.

If you understand the importance of Hearing from God, and I mean actually hearing God's voice, scroll down the last page "Advanced Study" and start there.

 

Actually to be blessed or cursed has nothing to do with God or Satan but with us.

I know some of you are now starting to leave reading the above line, but before you do think about this, if I can prove this to you via scripture is it not worth knowing the truth and learning how we can be blessed and not cursed.

First of all no one is blessed and cursed at the same instant, you can be either or but never both at the same time.

Blessings flow like a river curses are like an under tow in the river that takes you the opposite way than you want to go and the under tow drags you down and under where in time you drown.

I was born in 1952 and I have tried every thing out there to be blessed, tithed, donations, gifts, sowing and reaping, etc.

And like the many different weight loss programs one may work for you over others but the problem is there are as many ways to lose weight as there are people. Being blessed is not the same, weight loss is based on the person and what works for them verses what does not so in the end parts of one with parts of another and a few original ideas and then you have the weight loss program that works for you all the time.

Blessings flow for all throughout the world if you are alive you can be and should be blessed. But the problem is most people go against the flow and allow the under tow to care them away from their blessings. Then they blame God for all their problems when in actuality He has already done it all and it is up to us.

 

John 19

 30.  When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

 

Jesus said it is finished, what is finished?

In Greek it is "Complete" Jesus came to undo what Adam did and return us to God and as Adam was blessed before he sinned so should we be.

God for thousands of years sowed His Word into the world so one day one like Mary would have the faith to agree with the Holy Spirit and have a child without a man. And through that man He would pay the price no other could ever pay for us all. He was born sin free and remained sin free and due to His being sin free He was the only one who could ever pay the price for our sin.

 

Jesus even said we would not need to ask Him, but in His name only, and what ever we ask we would have.

 

John 14

 13.  And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

 14.  If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

 

 

John 16

 23.  And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

 24.  Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

 25.  These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.

 

What most forget or  do not realize is just how much more God can and will do for us above and beyond our wildest dreams:

 

Ephesians 3

  20.  Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

 

You have to ask, and ask in Jesus name.

 

James 1

 5.  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

 6.  But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

 

If you ask for things in lust, of the cares of the world you will not get them.

 

James 4

 1.  From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?

 2.  Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.

 3.  Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

 

 

Mark 4

 11.  And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:

 12.  That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

 13.  And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?

 14.  The sower soweth the word.

 15.  And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

These are the lost those who do not know the Lord and have more of the world then the word in them so when the word is sown into them they can not handle and even are offended by it. Satan has convinced these there is no God or that He is not a God they want.

 

 16.  And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;

 17.  And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.

These are those who have heard the basics but have no real knowledge and as such can not stand alone.

(Hosea 4:6.  My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.  If you read Revelation 1:6 you will read we are all kings and priests)

 

 18.  And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,

 19.  And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

For the same reason these are drawn away from God is why most never get the blessings of God.

 

 20.  And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

By the way in the Greek in the above verse the word fold is percent so it is not thirty fold, sixty fold, 100 fold but 30%, 60% and 100%. The reason is there are four groups the first gets nothing, the second may get about 30% before falling away, then the third gets about 60% before falling away and the fourth and last group gets 100% and do not fall away.

No one can stand on 30% or 60% of a leg they need 100% of a leg to stand and the same is for the word of God.

And how we get the 100% is not just reading the word or listening to others but seeking God about the word so He can reveal all that is in the word.

 

John 14

 26.  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

 27.  Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

 

Those who seek to hear from God will hear and will be blessed if they listen, hear, and obey. But to have the 100% one needs to hear from the Holy Spirit not from man .

 

Revelation 3

 19.  As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

 20.  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

 

One can not be misled by listening to the Lord only by listening to man, remember Jim Jones 100+ led to their death in Africa, Koresh who led 100 to their death in Waco and these are only two in the past 20 or so years.

 

Genesis 22

 18.  And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

 

From Genesis to Revelation one theme remains true and that is those who listen to and for the voice of God and obey will be blessed.

 

Joshua 5

 6.  For the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, till all the people that were men of war, which came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they obeyed not the voice of the Lord: unto whom the Lord sware that he would not shew them the land, which the Lord sware unto their fathers that he would give us, a land that floweth with milk and honey.

 

Children of Israel did not walk for forty years due to God being vengeful, or because He deemed it so, but because they stepped out of the blessings of God into the curse of the world, it is called free will..

 

Judges 6

10.  And I said unto you, I am the Lord your God; fear not the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but ye have not obeyed my voice.

 

One of the biggest problems Israel had after leaving Egypt was rejecting hearing from God. When Moses said the Lord will speak unto you and Israel responded let the Lord speak to you and you tell us what the Lord says and we will do it.

Of course if you have read the Old Testament you know that did not last long until Israel was no longer in the blessing but the curse because they did not obey.

 

Deuteronomy 28

 1.  And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

 2.  And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.

 3.  Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.

 4.  Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.

 5.  Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.

 6.  Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

 

Above you read some of the blessings to those who listen, hear and obey God.

I could have added another 20 pages of scripture of how Israel did not listen, or obey God and ended up in the curse.

 

Israel as many today allow for things of this world, lust, cares of this life to over come their relationship with God and take them from the blessing into the curse.

 

When I actually started hearing from God He showed me how many times I got so close to a blessing to step away and miss it. Imagine having to search for a treasure in the dark no light and the treasure is on a path but there are many paths to choose from and it is dark.

 

Matthew 7

 13.  Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

 14.  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

 15.  Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

 

Understand this the word many in the verses above is actually most, and if most are on the path to destruction and only a FEW are on the path to life how do you know you are one of the few if you belong to any of mans many religions which has many in them.

 

Advanced Study (only for those who are starting to hear from God)

 

For those of you who understand and know that hearing from God, actually hearing His voice is the way to go then read on.

 

The one and only theme you can find that goes from Genesis to Revelation is "If you hear God's voice, listen and are obedient you will be blessed".

Those who do not actually listen for His voice and are obedient are on a rollercoaster of up's and down's.

Ask your self this question and you will know where you are in the blessings or the curse "Do you have bad days, or do you have days that may appear bad to all others but even in the storm of life you do not notice it?" If you are aware of the storms but they effect you not then you are of the blessing, if you are aware and they effect you then you are not of the blessing. So you are not being obedient or hearing from God.

 

How To Hear From God

 

Hearing from God is not hard but it does take time and a lot of patience.

 

·         Find a place that is quite and free of all distractions.

·         Spend thirty (30) minutes a day there, every day.

·         Be quite, ask God to help you hear from Him and spend the time quite only listening to and for His voice.

·         Be diligent, do not miss a day and spend all thirty (30) minutes quite and listening.

·         If you start falling asleep you need to retrain your body not to, it is used to shutting down and going to sleep after 5-15 minutes of inactivity.

·         Once you hear from God in the beginning be diligent in checking what you hear to His word. After awhile you will not have to you will know His voice, He already knows yours.

·         But to be 100% sure it is God and not Satan at first ask "Did Jesus come in the flesh?" (I John 4:1-3) if you hear no, tell Satan to go to Hell, if you hear yes be obedient.

 

God in the beginning of hearing will reinforce His love with you, and help you to understand His word. He will guide you to remain on the path to life and off the path to destruction but no matter it is always your choice.

Beware

 

The end times, the true end times, as told by Jesus in the Gospels and John in the book of Revelation:

• Israel becomes a nation in one day (Jesus) happened in 1949.
• Two Hundred Million (200,000,000) Man Army (John) as of 1990's China
• Mark of the Beast is a computer chip installed, as the Bible states, in the hand, but if a person has no hands then in the forehead. This chip is available today and being used in animals.
• Famines, pestilence, & earthquakes in diverse places. Until the 80's some diverse places were not really known, but with the discovery that Yellowstone is a super volcano this makes more sense. A super volcano would cause earthquakes worldwide where they never would have even been considered before.

 

I have only covered a few of the prophecies of Jesus and John mainly because these are the ones most unknown or least likely to be known how they would be.

 

We read that Israel would become a nation in one day and it became a nation in one day in 1949 when the UN recognized Israel as a nation.

 

We read that an army out of the east would number 200 million, and in the 80's China had a (still has a) 200 million man army and they are east of Israel.

Mark of the Beast has been the one we have just in the past decade or so started to learn how this would come about. That a mark of the beast (which is also the mark of man) would be taken and worshipped was a little less clear, but I can now see it clearly.

 

With kidnapping, violence on the rise, & terrorism more and more people are becoming at ease with the idea of a chip implanted in the body. This chip will become popular for safety reasons.

 

• Chip will protect our children from harm because at all times we will know where they are. In the event of their getting lost, kidnapped, etc we could find them due to GPS, which was not even around 30 years ago.
• Crime reduction due to no cash, credit cards, or access directly to our funds other than by scanning our chip which can not be done by removing the hand and used because live tissue is required to keep it active. So crime for finances will become a thing of the past, or at least the idea of crime reduction will make the chip more popular.
• All it takes is a majority of the population, either 51% or at most 66%, to make the chip become mandatory or one will not be able to buy, sell, or even trade without it. All cash, credit cards, etc will be eliminated because it all could be done with the chip. The chip could handle all credit if you had $5000 credit with a bank as you would have with a credit card now the chip could handle it. When checking out at a store or paying for anything you would only have to tell them what account to charge, private bank account, credit card, etc.
• In time people would rely on the chip and even begin to worship it (trust in it) for their security, protection, etc.  As people find they are living more securely and free of violence, even terrorism, they will worship it in a way different than you might think of worship. They will consider it above and more important than they do God.

 

 

Events that have to happen for the chip to become part of every day life:

• People living in fear in more ways than ever before.
• People demanding more protection and security.
• People become more and more of self and less and less of God.

 

Today with shows like da Vinci Code, and James Cameron's special about finding the bones of Jesus are causing more and more of those teetering on the fence to fall on the wrong side. Some of those who have doubt will fall away and, in time, only the most faithful will remain, as such making it easier for the Mark to become part of life.

 

Review the prophecies that we now understand (fifty years ago they would not have been possible) such as:

·        All of mankind will see the two witnesses die and remain dead for three days. Now with television, satellites, etc it is conceivable how we could see this, but 50 years ago it was a mystery.

·        60 years ago it was totally unknown how Israel would become a nation in one day, but now we know.

·        Only 30 years ago we had not the slightest idea of how the mark of the beast could be and how it would be accepted. (Many Bible teachers thought it was going to be something like a tattoo), but now we see it and see how it will not just be accepted but even be worshipped.

·        Famines, pestilence, & earthquakes can come about due to a super volcano like Yellowstone. The temperature decrease from ash blotting out the sunlight alone could wipe out as much as 2 billion over a few years due to crop failures. Decrease in temperature of twenty-five degrees almost immediately for years would cause as much as 40% of all crop failures. This would cause massive death from famine, and from that many deaths would come pestilences.

·        A super volcano such as Yellowstone would cause Tsunamis, earthquakes, in places never expected.

 

Here is a question you need to consider:

How could so many predictions have been prophesied two thousand years ago so accurately if there was not a God who could see into the future and forewarn us?

1.      Mark of the Beast is also the mark of man without God.

2.      The number six, in the Bible, represents something that is incomplete. (Six days do make a complete week.)

3.      Seven is the number for completeness (A seven-day week is complete).

4.      The number eight represents a New Beginning
