Why anyone could not or would not accept Jesus as Lord is beyond me. It is easy, Romans 10:9-10 explains all that has to be done to be saved.
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.Remember, Jesus paid the price for you. Your sin cost Him His life. It is like owing a debt and the minimum payment is all you can afford, but the minimum only pays 98% of the interest charges. So the debt keeps growing even though you are paying the minimum. As soon as you can pay more the interest goes up and again you are still only paying 98% of the interest. You never can get out of debt at that rate no matter if you lived to be 1,000. That is the same way it is with sin. We can try and try, but no matter how hard we try, we keep getting deeper in debt.
No matter what you have done the Lord will forgive it. The only thing He will not forgive is not accepting His salvation.
So accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, and your life will improve.
