What God Has Done For Me!
Pastor J. R. Wilhite God gave me Life! God gave me a family! God gave me a family that was together until my parents died. God gave me my time in the Air Force safe in this country while war was going on in Vietnam. God gave me salvation. God allowed me to have the desires of my heart, even though they were not the real desires of my heart. He allowed me to marry a woman out of the wrong reasons. And then blessed me with two sons. God allowed me to develop a stage play with stars, and become friends with some of the stars. God allowed me to have my own chain of stores, even though it was not what He wanted He allowed it. God allowed me to do things that I thought were what I wanted. After my wife divorced me while I was in the hospital, God showed me the true woman of my heart. The woman He had meant for me. God then gave me another son, and arranged for my first born to live with me. God gave me my daughter, a beautiful girl who loves her daddy more than I could ever imagine. God then showed me true beauty, not the beauty of man's art and paintings, and buildings, but the beauty of a sun set. The beauty of a flower blooming. The beauty of a child, the beauty of the inner love and inner beauty in all of us. After all of this God then allowed me to be apart of a convention where I would speak at with people who I had looked up at as icons in religion. Then God allowed me to be apart of something on the Internet that brought me closer to some of these icons. All along God was giving me a ministry that would be a blessing to others, but more so to me, because I would be able to see God at work. He allowed me to see His hand at work in salvation, healings, and blessings of every type. But that is not all, God allowed me to learn that the icons, the work, and even the ministry were not what He wanted for me. What He wanted for me, I always had. And that was Him, His love. When ever I got in trouble He was there to bail me out, when ever I needed help or a blessing He was there. He showed me my true desires of my heart, and that was a relationship with Him. I know that all I have and all the blessings I have came from Him. If you asked me when I was in school what I thought my life would be, I would of said the least likely to succeed at anything, the least likely to have a home, wife and children. I would of said these things because I did not know God as my Father and I had no hope. But with God He has given me hope. And out of hope has come my true desires of my heart. Not to work for God or have a ministry. But to be a tool of God and to be used of God for His desires, because His desires are my desires. And at the same time He has blessed me with the most wonderful, and loving wife a man could have. He has blessed me with 4 children, loving, kind and caring children. Not disobediant, two are 18 and 19 and they are just getting their drivers lic. They have always been home by dark, and helpful when ever possible. And if that were not enough, He gave me some of the best friends a person could have, Sherrye, Jesse, Jane and Tim are more than friends they are family. Oh yes, I have other family, and I am blessed there as well. God continues to bless me and my family, with a new house, new furniture, and to be debt free very, very soon. But that still is not all, God blessed me to bless others, with a site on the internet, a ministry off line, and a business to support all of this. As Paul made tents in his time, I make cyber tents. The one thing I know is, is that God is my Father, and a very loving Father. A Father who is always there with His hands stretched out to help and pick me up when I fall down. I know that none of us are more than babes to Him. He is a true Father, and like any loving Father, He wants to heal when we are sick or hurt, if we will let Him. He wants to bless us and make us a blessing unto others, if we will let Him. He wants to help us in all we do, talk with us, and have us depend on Him for ever thing we need and He wants us to talk to Him about everything we do. The next time you see I flower bloom, a sun set, or a set of clouds in the sky, or stars at night, remember He made those as well as He made you and me. The next time you feel down, depressed or lonely go to Him, talk to Him, give Him a chance to talk to you. All it takes is time listening instead of talking. We have spent so much time talking it takes a while to hear what He has to say. The next time you need to be healed, or blessed remember you are His child and as with any Father He will heal and bless you if you let Him. If you are looking for some one special to share your life with, remember to go to Him, He will direct you to a person who will be a blessing to you. Just remember what He has done for you. This list could of been many more pages, but I think you get the point.
