Prejudice and Physical Life

Before we start you must understand that Adam did not immediately die physically from eating the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, but he did die spiritually.

The Spiritual death was worse than a physical death. God spent the time from Abraham to Jesus sowing His word into Israel so one day one woman would have the faith to agree with Him to bring Jesus into the earth.

Luke 1

38.      And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.

Why God did not want Israel to marry anyone outside of the blood line was to keep Israel faithful to God. Allowing other blood lines in would also allow other beliefs in that could work against what God was doing with Israel and cause it to take longer to bring Jesus into the earth.

From Abraham to Jesus God could only find one person at a time, here and there, to work through to get His word into the earth. If God had found more then Jesus would have been born into the earth sooner.

All the Old Testament is about is the physical, the flesh. The New Testament is about reuniting mankind to God which can only be done Spiritually since God is a Spirit. The New Testament is to bring mankind back into a relationship with God to increase mankind's chance of making it to the next life with God.

What matters is not that which is of the physical because the physical is only temporary. Nothing of the physical lasts, in time even the tallest mountains are worn down by the wind and rain.

Understand there is an enemy - Satan. Satan is the king of deceptions and lies, and he knows us better than we even know ourselves. Satan has had many, many, many centuries to study us and know us. Satan uses any and all he can that will reach the most with his lies and deceptions to manipulate the rest of us.

2 Corinthians 10

 5.  Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Above Paul said that we must control our thoughts, taking every thought, idea and imagination into account and if it does not measure up to the knowledge of God, God's actual knowledge, then we should cast it down as we would with bad food. We should take what remains into captivity unto the obedience of Christ (so it can not hurt us until we know it is in line with God).

Matthew 15

 11.  Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

Until we learn it is not the physical that counts, but what is of the Spiritual, we are doomed.

Matthew 15

 8.  This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

 9.  But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Even today many, most even, are giving lip service to the Lord. They will give thought to God here and there, even during each day, but until God is first and foremost in every minute of every day we will not be blessed, but cursed.

Matthew 4

 4.  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

We are to not just hear from God but live by each word that comes out of the mouth of God.

Matthew 12

 36.  But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

 37.  For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Any words that are not of and about God are idle words. Only words that we speak that are not of God are what we will be judged by mainly because they come from the heart and show who we truly are not what we say we are. Words are cheap; actions count for more.

Satan does all he can to separate us from God. He does it with lies and deceptions. So how can you know if anything you hear is true or not? You can not unless you first know God, not just know about God but actually know God.

Matthew 12

 25.  And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

If you stripped away the flesh from each of us we all would look just alike. We all get up from sleep daily, dress basically the same way, eat and have desires for our children that are basically the same. The only things the separate us is our skin color, religion, where we live, and what we believe.

Matthew 7

 1.  Judge not, that ye be not judged.

 2.  For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

 3.  And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

 4.  Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

 5.  Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

Until we can look beyond the physical and all that is of the physical we are lost and are not as blessed as we could be. We must start by stopping any judging and prejudice we have. Start forgiving all, love God first and foremost, and love all who live as ourselves.

The physical is only one of two steps to get us to the true life which is to come next. This is temporary because it is not meant to be the one true life that lasts forever.
