Before you read this study understand that we do not teach, we share and then ask all who read the following take it to God and verify it with Him. We believe a lot of the world is misled by the church of the world and religion vs the one true church. And to know the truth can only come from knowing, not just knowing of God, John 14:26, I John 2:27, Rev 3:19-22.
Many are called but few are chosen because many are misled by false teachers Matthew 7:13-15 so we help all who wants to know the truth how to find and know the truth of and by God and not of and by man.

Anointed as the Light

Jerry Wilhite, author

In this study I pray that God opens your eyes and gives you revelation knowledge of His Word (Amen).

All I ask is that you keep an open mind and pray the above prayer.

The Trinity is one of the most disputed areas of the different sectors of so called Christians.
What we are about to cover will not just prove the Trinity, but also (for that group out there who believe Satan was cast down in Genesis 1:2) the idea that Satan was cast down is hog-wash.
For those of you who do not know what I am talking about in the above paragraph, there is a group of people who believe that when Lucifer was found to have fallen from grace (Genesis 1:1 - 2), that is why, in 1:2, the earth was without form, because when he fell he destroyed all that was there. If this is not of importance to you or you just don't care about when Satan was cast down. Please bear with me for a couple of paragraphs. What follows will remove doubt about the Trinity.

Genesis 1:1 -"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth."

The word created means formed and fashioned. Then in Genesis 1:2 the Bible says - "And the earth was without form." If God formed the earth how is the earth without form in the very next verse?

Before we go any further, let me show one of the reasons this was not when Satan was cast down, subsequently destroying the earth.
Will, you agree with me on:

John 10:10 - "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy; I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly."

So the thief is Satan, and destruction comes from Satan. As a matter of fact, until sin came there could be no destruction. So, if man did not sin until after the sixth day, how could there be destruction in the first day?

Genesis 1:28 - "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth."

If man is given dominion over the earth, how can anything else, except man, allow sin to come in?
Also, God did not bring judgment on Satan or call him Satan until and after Genesis 3, which is after day 1.
Also, God warned Adam: (Genesis 2:16) "And the LORD God comanded the man, saying, 'Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat; (Genesis 2:17) But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.'"
Why would God warn Adam not to eat of the tree, but not about Satan? Yes, God did know Lucifer was going to fall from grace. Why God did not warn Adam was because at that time Lucifer had not fallen. So there was not yet anything about which to warn him. As long as Adam was obedient to God, Satan would (even after his fall) be no where. Sort of like a man without a country; except it would be an angel without a place, neither in heaven, nor on earth.

As we continue studying the Trinity I think those of you who have believed that Satan was cast down in Genesis 1:2 will see the truth. I am not saying you do not see the truth, but, in this area you may be a little cloudy.

Now, as we have seen in Verse 1, God formed the earth, and what God forms does not become undone.

Genesis 1:2 "And the earth was without form"

So, what is without form? It can not be the earth itself since Satan did not cause the destruction. That which is without form is what the earth was made for; what Adam was made from. First he was made from the dirt, and second we know mankind is mostly water. So mankind is dirt and water, and at this point the earth was mostly water with dirt under the water. So what was without form was man. Now to help understand this bear with me for the rest of the verse.

Genesis 1:2 "And the earth was without form, and void;"

"Void" was man after sin,

Genesis 1:2 "And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters."

darkness in this verse actually should be translated evil. And evil (darkness) was found in the very great depths of man. After sin there was a great void left, and evil went to the greatest depth of this void in man.
"And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters." After sin, God's Spirit wanted back in the waters (mankind).

As you can see, God fixed (in the beginning) what He was seeing as a problem in the future.

Now before we go any further, let us get one thing straight. Once He has created something, does God have to "recreate" it?

--NO!--

Genesis 1:3 "And God said, 'Let there be light', and there was light."

Let me explain what light is. You think it is the light we see with our physical eyes:

Genesis 1:14 "And God said, 'Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:'"
Genesis 1:15 "'And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth' and it was so."
Genesis 1:16 "And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: [he made] the stars also."
Genesis 1:17 "And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,"
Genesis 1:18 "And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that [it was] good."
Genesis 1:19 "And the evening and the morning were the fourth day."

If the light in Genesis 1:3 is physical light and Genesis 1:3 is day one, then why did God have to do it all over again on the fourth day?

He didn't! The light in Genesis 1:3 is the Spiritual light for man. It is when Jesus stepped up and said "anoint me, I will be their light:"

John 1:4 "In him was life; and the life was the light of men."
John 1:5 "And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not."

If you think I have lost my train of thought on the Trinity, just bear with me and you will see that I am still on track.

Okay, Genesis 1:1 creation begins, 1:2 God sees ahead. He sees the earth without what it is formed for "mankind". He sees them void of His Spirit. He sees them filled with evil, and His Spirit hovering over them trying to get back into them. And He anoints Jesus as the light of mankind.

What about the next verse ?

Genesis 1:4 "And God saw the light, that [it was] good: and God divided the light from the darkness."

This is when he put a gulf, a spiritual gulf, between good and evil or between Himself and Satan. Like the gulf described by Jesus:

Luke 16:26 "And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that [would come] from thence."

And verse 5 Genesis 1:5 "And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day."

John explains it: John 9:4 "I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work."

The separation of day and night is the time of grace and tribulation.

John 11:10 "But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him." 1 Thessalonians 5:4 "But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief."
1 Thessalonians 5:5 "Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness."
1 Thessalonians 5:7 "For they that sleep, sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night."
1 Thessalonians 5:8 "But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation."

Also, when you read the New Testament, Jesus always referred to the day, not the night. Except when He would return and then He would come as a thief in the night. So He would return as we already know when evil is in power.

Now, I'll show you the Trinity in the first five verses of the Bible:

John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
John 1:2 "The same was in the beginning with God."
John 1:3 "All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made."
John 1:14 "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."

In the beginning was God and the Word and they were one, but separate. And the Word became flesh (Jesus). So here are two elements of the Trinity.
Now the third element you can find in Genesis 1:2 God's Spirit. So we have three elements of the Trinity The Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
And if that is not enough, remember the light also refers to Jesus. So, you have two references to Jesus in Genesis 1:3 and John 1:1, as the Light and the Word. But for those of you that still need more:

Genesis 1:26 "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cMattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."

God said, "Let us"; who is us? At this point there was only God and the angels; man had not yet been created. Now you don't think God was talking to the angels do you? Of course not, because next He says, "in OUR image". So if God is not talking to the angels, He then must be talking to Himself. The next verse helps prove that.

Genesis 1:27 "So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

As you may have noticed in verse 26 we have the Trinity separated, and in verse 27 as one. Have you noticed you are a spirit with a soul and a body. Jesus has a body (flesh), God has a soul and the Holy Spirit. Just thought I would throw that out for you to dwell on.

Some other points need to be cleaned up. First, if Lucifer was not found to have impurity in Genesis1:1-2; when did he? I believe that until Genesis 3 Lucifer was not found to have impurity. Why? because Jesus said that if you let it reside in your heart, it will be produced in the words of your mouth and your actions. But action can not come without first being in you.

And in Ezekiel 28:4 it says, "Thou [art] the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee [so]: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire."
"Ezekiel 28:15 "Thou [wast] perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee."

When was this iniquity found? Only after Lucifer allowed the thought to remain and dwelt on it, and it came to pass in Genesis 3:1. Jesus told us we would be judged, not by thoughts but by our words:

Romans 3:4 "God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged."
Matthew 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
John 12:47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
John 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

It is the spoken word, or action that is judged. I submit that until Satan spoke or acted, in Genesis 3, he was not found to be with iniquity,
It is the spoken word or the action that gets us into trouble, both of which come from our heart. If we allow nothing in our heart but God. Then all that we will speak and do will be of God only. If we allow in garbage, then we will speak and act like the garbage we allow in our heart.
What is our heart, is our spirit. It is fed by hearing. It is sort of like this, spoken words + ears = what is in the mind. That which is in the mind the most is that which gets in our spirit.

I hope I have helped resolve some of the conflicts on the Trinity and also on Genesis 1:2.

I pray that God blesses each and everyone of you (amen).

God Bless You as you hear His words and follow His leading.
