I Need Help Now

Jerry Wilhite, author

Most people, that are in need and with their back to the wall. No where to turn, no one to help, then they ask God. Now do not get me wrong in 1991 my wife and I was the same way.

If you are in need and can spare about 5-10 minutes to read the next 5-7 pages you can learn how to overcome your problems. And to become one who fishes, than one asking for a fish.

And those who do not understand the following and really try to learn by it will make it by, they may not get all they need and want. But they will survive, and that is about all, survive. While others will do much better.

If you ask me for a fish and I give it to you, you have a meal. But if I teach you how to fish, you will never go hungry again.

I have had people say "Look help me, no talk about fish, just send me money"

They will never have more than the very least in life in all ways. They are too impatient and will never learn how to be blessed to bless others. They will always be there with a hand out.

One asked me for $5000, and said they were told to tell me God told me to give it to them. Which I knew was wrong because I did not have $5000. But what was sad they lost more, they were to get in Dec $500 and starting in Jan $100 a month and in time it could have been $1000 a month to support their ministry.

But I can only work with those who are patient enough to learn.

We had been taught that it was ok to talk to God, but just do not expect to hear anything back. And those who said they did were considered to be a liar or nuts.

Why people thought this of those who stated they heard from God was due to our lack of knowledge.

I was raised Methodist, and even went so far as to become a Methodist Rev. but left due to politics.

So for a long time I prayed to God and even read the word of God. But that was about all, until I died in 1985.

That did not do what most would think, it did not change me over night.

And after seeing the next life, I wondered why it did not change me over night.

My family and I attended a Lutheran church for a while. I was even in charge of converting Jews; I was on the evangelism board of the Missouri SYNOD Lutherans in Texas.

In time I came to realize a few things, one was there had to be more, more than what I was getting out of church and the Bible.

My wife and I decided we wanted more, so I spent the next 2 years almost 24/7, listening to, until I heard from God. And yes, I mean His voice, both outwardly and inwardly. And when I did start hearing, I listened, and listened and wrote all I heard.

Over the next 7 years I spent reading the Old in Hebrew and the New in Greek.

One of the things I learned listening to God was that Satan's number one job was keeping God and us apart.

And what are so sad is that people either does not believe that Satan is, or that he is that big of a deal.

What they miss of course is, he does exist, and that he has had thousands upon thousands of years preparing for each of us.

He is the perfect liar; one of his lies is that he does not exist. If you want to believe in ET, he will help you. Anything but knowing he is around.

So I started discovering lies, even lies told by the church, most were not even realized by the church to be lies.

Here are a few:

I had always heard based on Job 1:8 that God tested us, and I looked for other verses to back it up. But you know what they can be found but only out of text. So with this in mind and that I believed as others that what caused Job's problems was based upon his fear for his children.
You see fear is Satan's form of faith, and when Job feared because his children were not sacrificing and always parting this gave Satan a way in.

So if it was God testing Job through Satan, why was there a need for a way for Satan to enter?

But I did do something else; I researched it in Hebrew.

But first let's read it, as it is in most and here from the King James Version of the Bible.

Job 1

8. And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

Before I show you it in Hebrew, let me explain it was not translated wrong. It is read wrong.

Remember the KJV was written in 1612AD and in King James English. Now add 300+ years to the English in the UK. And then look at the difference today between English in the US and in UK.

Solicitor in UK is an attorney, Lift is an elevator, post is mail, and I could go on, but I think you get the point.

8.

|0559| And said

|3068| Yahweh

|0000| to

|7854| Satan,

|7760| Have you set

|3824| your heart

|5650| on My servant

|0347| Job?

|3588| For

|0369| not is {any}

|0000| like him

|0776| in the earth,

|0376| a man

|8535| perfect

|3477| and upright,

|3373| revering

|0430| God

|5186| and turning away

|7451| from evil.

As you notice in Hebrew it was God questioning Satan what he had against Job, not pointing Job out.

Job 1

8. And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job (here if there was a question Mark you would understand better.)

That there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil (Here God is not showing off Job, but pointing out there is no reason why God should allow Satan to mess with Job)?

It goes on to where God has to allow Satan to test Job because of the fear.

So if God did not point out Job to Satan to test Job, then the idea of us being tested in this way is wrong.

Here is one that I bought and when I realized the truth I also realized I had heard it this way in 3 or 4 different denominational churches.

Matthew 5

  1. Blessed are the poor

But actually it is 3. Blessed are the poor in spirit:

Why are the poor in spirit blessed?

First the idea is that for God's Spirit to be strong in us, ours has to be weak to allow it, but also things like pride would interfere with God's spirit.

How about "By His stripes we are healed". That is correct right? We are healed sooner or later are we not?

1 Peter 2

24. Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

No it is "we WERE healed", meaning that before we ever were born we were already healed.

And if that is the case we should never get sick, be hurt, etc.

And if at birth if we had been taught this, most likely we never would have gotten sick, been hurt, etc.

But instead we heard of all of the medicine we needed, and if we needed medicine we must get sick.

But it is not just healing it is also our ability to be rid of debt and lack and have plenty.

1 Peter 5

  1. Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

The word care means anxiety, care, etc., so to cast all of our problems upon God would mean He has them and we do not. And if we do not have them, then we are debt free, etc.

Isaiah 10

27. And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

Even the Jews knew of a day when all of the problems would be gone.

Read Is 10:27 again, "his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder ", "his yoke from off thy neck," "and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing"

So what is the anointing that would do all of this?

Christos Pronounced khris-tos' is a Greek word, also know as Christ, and in Hebrew as the Messiah. And in English as the anoint(ed)(ing), and to understand this better imagine a large bowl of water, and a dry sponge placed in the bowl. Now remove the sponge and it is dripping wet with water, it is anointed with water, it has water in it, on it and through it.

But what are we anointed with?

Luke 4

18. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

When you were saved (born again) you had the spirit of God in you, you will have the Spirit in, on and through you when you are of Christ.

So many believed Christ was the last name or title of Jesus.

We are promised all kinds of things:

Mark 11

22. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

23. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

24. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

25. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

26. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

So what is the problem, why can we not get what is promised above?

Jesus starts with faith, and then ends with forgiveness.

Faith is believing without doubt of any kind.

Forgiveness is also forgetting, so when you forgive, for it to truly be forgiven it has to be forgotten as well.

There are 3 keys.

  1. Judge not, Matthew 7:1-5, and John 3:17 the word condemn means also judge, so if Jesus did not come to judge who are we to judge.
  2. Forgiveness, it is hard forgive when you judge, and when you do not forget.
  3. Faith, believe in God, of God and His word so strong no one can come between you and God.

Jesus tells us we are to be taught of by the Holy Spirit.

John 14

26. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

In I John it is broken down for us a lot better.

1 John 2

27. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Not taught by man, but by the anointing that resides in you, or the Spirit of God, the same as John 14:26.

When you are saved there is always a chance of back sliding, loosing your salvation, but if God told you, you were His child, well, no one could come between you and your salvation again.

Romans 8
16.
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

And we are also told we are destroyed due to a lack of knowledge.

Hosea 4

6. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

In Romans 8:16 we are called God's children and in Revelation 1:6 we are called His priests. So yes, Hosea 4:6 is addressed to us.

All of this requires time, growth; in the world you spend 16-20 or longer in school to get a chance at, not a promise of, but a chance at a job.

Where in half or less of that time you are promised the blessings. And of course depending on the time you put in it could be even less than 4 years.

1 Corinthians 1

24. But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

So the wisdom needed for the knowledge and the power of God comes of those of the anointing.

Mark 11

But in Mark 11:22-26 all that is required is forgiveness, and faith.

Romans 10
17.
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

So by spending time daily listening for the voice of God will in time bless you hearing His voice.

And in the mean time reading His word will bring faith.

So those in desperate measures can get what they need now, with prayer, faith, and letting go of the problem, letting God have it 100%.

I can tell you this, anything less than 100% will not work it requires 100% and that means you take the problem to God and tell Him about it, and give it to Him, then walk away and forget it exists.

This is not easy and can only be done by faith, but I know it works, twice in the past year I needed 20K first and then 12K. First the day after I totally let go and just forgot about it, I got 20K and 5K. I found I was off a few thousand in my figures, I forgot a bill.

But every time I have not let Him had it 100% and totally let go it failed each time, but the 2 times I did let go, both times I blessed.

So why can I not just do it for you?

In time I might, but I believe it has to do with out faith and the growth there of.

Hebrews 11

6. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

So the only way to please God is give Him your problems, not man, but give them to God.

Also understand we get about 30 to 1 asking Vs what we can even hope to try and help.

So most will not get what they want as far as money from us, but if they will open there mind and learn they will be a blessing to others.

Read the entire Bible, but for sure Matthew 6 and 7, John the entire book, Romans, Hebrews and I John 2.

For those of you who are not sure about hearing from God, why would John have a way to verify whom you hear from to be sure it is God if you can not hear?

1 John 4

1. Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

2. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

3. And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

So due to the large amount of requests we get, the lack of man power to even check it out and the limited budget we do not even try to fool our selves we can only for most pray and teach how to avoid the problem in the future.

I have over 380 studies in godsgifttoyou.com but the one I would read first explains in more detail what you have read here. It is called "Life Starts Here".
