Before you read this study understand that we do not teach, we share and then ask all who read the following take it to God and verify it with Him. We believe a lot of the world is misled by the church of the world and religion vs the one true church. And to know the truth can only come from knowing, not just knowing of God, John 14:26, I John 2:27, Rev 3:19-22.
Many are called but few are chosen because many are misled by false teachers Matthew 7:13-15 so we help all who wants to know the truth how to find and know the truth of and by God and not of and by man.

Your Thoughts & Words Judge You

Pastor J. R. Wilhite, author   Close Window

What thoughts do you have and what words come out of your mouth?

Did you know you are judged only by the words of your mouth once you are saved.

Romans 3

4. Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar. As it is written: "That You may be justified in Your words, and may overcome when You are judged.''

John 12

48. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

Even Jesus did not speak His own words, but those of God only.

John 14

10. Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

We are even cleaned by words.

John 15

3. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

There are multiple levels to growth in the kingdom, refer to the study at godsgifttoyou.com "Life Starts Here" for more about the 3 steps of life Womb, Here, Eternal. And also notice the three levels here, salvation, church, body, but now we are dealing with word and thought.

Luke 1

He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.

Strong's Ref. # 1271

Romanized dianoia

Pronounced dee-an'-oy-ah

from GSN1223 and GSN3563; deep thought, properly, the faculty (mind or its disposition), by implication, its exercise:

KJV-- imagination, mind, understanding.

Notice in the literal "imagination" is "thought".

51.

|4160| He acted

|2904| might{ily}

|1722| with

|9999| {the}

|1023| arm

|0846| of Him.

|1287| He scattered

|5244| proud {ones}

|1271| in {the} thought

|2588| of the heart

|0846| of them.

Romans 1

21. Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Vain in their thoughts, think about what a vain imagination is.

Strong's Ref. # 3154

Romanized mataioo

Pronounced mat-ah-yo'-o

from GSN3152; to render (passively, become) foolish, i.e. (morally) wicked or (specifically) idolatrous:

KJV--become vain.

21.

|1360| Because

|1097| having known

|3588| -

|2316| God

|3756| not

|5613| as

|2316| God

|1392| they glorified,

|2228| nor

|2168| were thankful.

|0235| But

|3154| became vain

|1722| in

|3588| the

|1261| reasonings

|0846| of them,

|2532| and

|4654| was darkened

|3588| the

|0801| undiscerning

|0846| of them

|2588| heart.

Strong's Ref. # 1261

Romanized dialogismos

Pronounced dee-al-og-is-mos'

from GSN1260; discussion, i.e. (internal) consideration (by implication, purpose), or (external) debate:

KJV--dispute, doubtful(-ing), imagination, reasoning, thought.

Strong's Ref. # 801

Romanized asunetos

Pronounced as-oon'-ay-tos

from GSN0001 (as a negative particle) and GSN4908; unintelligent; by implication, wicked:

KJV--foolish, without understanding.

Strong's Ref. # 2588

Romanized kardia

Pronounced kar-dee'-ah

elongated form from the primary kar (Latin, cor, "heart"); the heart, i.e. (figuratively) the thoughts or feelings (mind); also (by analogy) the middle:

KJV--(+ broken-)heart(-ed).

There are three levels to casting down vain thoughts.

Evil wicked and curse words, what we call 4 letter words.

Judging, unforgiveness

That are not of God

You may be able to achieve the first easier than the other 2 and much, much faster. Normally the 1st level thoughts are the most wicked, the ones that get us to curse using what we call 4 letter words.

The Second level is still much easier than the third, but still much harder than the first.

The third we should start out doing to begin with. It is obtainable, just hard. This is where you take every thought captive and only release those of God and all others cast down imediately.

So we start watching those old 4 letter words and work on ending the days of coming from our mouth. We take those old evil, wicked thoughts of this world and start casting them down. Occasionally we will slip up, but in time we will get control.

Control is the key, control over our judging, over forgiveness, over doubting, caring, and all are controlled by our thoughts.

Matthew 8

5. And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,

6. And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.

7. And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.

8. The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

9. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.

10. When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

11. And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.

12. But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

13. And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

Now above we see what Jesus called one who had greater faith than all of Israel and he was not even a chosen child of God, but a heathen. So if he could have faith of this nature we can too, and the idea is getting your mind to agree with your spirit. When the words we speak agree with that which is in our spirit we will see many wonders.

I practice on a daily basis, taking control of my thoughts, but most of all working my faith, or should I say giving my faith authority to work for me.

Matthew 8

16.

|3798| evening

|1161| And

|1096| having come,

|4374| they brought

|0846| to him

|1139| demon-possessed

|4183| many.

|2532| And

|1544| he threw out

|3588| the

|4151| spirits

|3056| by a word.

|2532| And

|3956| all

|3588| those

|2560| illness

|2192| having,

|2323| he healed,

Matthew 8

16. When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:

With a spoken word the devils were cast out, and the sick were healed. The power of God that was in Jesus could only work; it could not fail because the words Jesus spoke were of faith. His words had power and that power healed and blessed. You and I have the same, and can do the same if we will get our mind, and words lined up with the power of God that is in us.

1 Corinthians 1

24. But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

As Jesus said a house divided would fall, so our words, and our belief have to line up with the power to work.

In I Corinthians 1:11-13 they were divided and turmoil was the result. In Acts 2 when the apostles were of one mind in one place, then the Holy Spirit fell on them.

You see it is all very simple, there are areas that are hard, but over all it is all very simple.

Even the hard areas are not that hard after all. Taking control of all of our thoughts does seem impossible or at the very least very hard. So that is why you need to start with the first level and work up, taking control of the easier areas first and then grow.

Strong's Ref. # 3056

Romanized logos

Pronounced log'-os

from GSN3004; something said (including the thought); by implication a topic (subject of discourse), also reasoning (the mental faculty) or motive; by extension, a computation; specifically (with the article in John) the Divine Expression (i.e. Christ):

KJV--account, cause, comunication, X concerning, doctrine, fame, X have to do, intent, matter, mouth, preaching, question, reason, + reckon, remove, say(-ing), shew, X speaker, speech, talk, thing, + none of these things move me, tidings, treatise, utterance, word, work.

Matthew 8

1. When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.

2. And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

3. And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And imediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Above shows you that with all healings they were either laying on of hands and a word, or an action and a word, but always that was a word given and that word was faith, their faith. Not the faith of Jesus or God that healed them, but their faith. How much more can we do today considering Jesus was still on the earth when these healings took place?

Now let's look at the three levels of faith. So many operate at what I call the first level. This is just above not believing, it is the first level where someone's faith is used in the solution, but their faith is not strong enough to do it on its own and needs help.

John 9

6. When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,

7. And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.

Above you see that Jesus applied spit and clay to his eyes, then gave him a task to do for his faith to work. The first level is where we feel we have to do something; it can not just happen without work.

Now the second level, this requires just that Jesus touches with something more than just His hands.

Mark 8

22. And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him.

23. And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.

24. And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.

25. After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.

Now the third level the next to top level, this is done worldwide but not as much as the above 2. This is where it is done based on just a word spoken.

Matthew 9

27. And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us.

28. And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.

29. Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.

30. And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straightly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.

The 4th level or highest level of faith is described to us by Jesus in Mark.

Mark 10

51. And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.

52. And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And imediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

Mark 11

22. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

23. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

24. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

25. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

26. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

It starts with faith in God and is completed by believing without doubt (faith) and forgiveness.

To truly forgive one needs to forget as well, if not then from time to time the thought of it can come back and it can cloud our judgment of a person. Notice keeping a forgiveness also brings judging. Also if you are going to cast down all vain imaginations then the things that need forgiveness need to be cast down.

The largest hang ups for us today are as follows:

Forgiving others

Forgiving one self

Not Judging

Believing with out doubt (Faith)

Pure Faith

Vain Imaginations or stray thoughts

Control - control of our thoughts, forgiveness, judging, believing.

If you overcome all of the above 7 you will be able to do as Jesus said in Mark 11:23-25

Romans 8

37. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

38. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

39. Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

37.

|0235| But

|1722| in

|5125| these things

|3956| all

|5245| we overcome

|1223| through

|3588| the

|9999| {One}

|0025| loving

|2248| us.

Strong's Ref. # 5245

Romanized hupernikao

Pronounced hoop-er-nik-ah'-o

from GSN5228 and GSN3528; to vanquish beyond, i.e. gain a decisive victory:

KJV--more than conquer.

John 16

33. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

One last thing we need to look into before we finish with this study, that is what is really important, that which is in us, on us, or on, in and through us.

Matthew 15

1. Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,

2. Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.

3. But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the comandment of God by your tradition?

4. For God comanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.

5. But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;

6. And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the comandment of God of none effect by your tradition.

7. Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,

8. This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

9. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the comandments of men.

10. And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:

11. Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

12. Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?

13. But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.

14. Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

15. Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable.

16. And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?

17. Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?

18. But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.

19. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

20. These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

21. Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.

Jesus was showing us that which was in us that came out meant more and was of more concern, than that which was outside of us and was going into us.

We have our present day traditions, scribes and Pharisees, that are dividing us.

What is more important growth of our membership numbers, or growth of our membership within?

If you said numbers, answer one question, do you hear from God on a daily basis?

If not, but you do hear from time to time, slow down, stop, listen and listen daily and be obedient. If you never heard His voice, stop and listen and do nothing else as far as the kingdom goes. Otherwise you may water where it has already been watered, and in doing so drowned the new believer. At the same time there may be someone waiting to be watered by you and they are withering for lack of input.

THE STEPS TO FOLLOW TO HELP YOU GET THE MOST OUT OF WHAT WAS TALKED ABOUT ABOVE

Stop and listen for God, and until you hear from Him only read the word and nothing else, no witnessing, no evangelizing, etc.

When you hear from God verify it is Him.

1 John 4

1. Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

2. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

3. And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Listen and be obedient daily.

Along with following of the above 3 steps, this study will be a huge blessing to you.

With out hearing from God daily, most of my studies will not be all they can be, because the most important part other than you in it is God.

My prayer for you is:

3 John 1

2. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth

Remember to show faith when you pray, then praise and give thanks.

God Bless You as you hear His words and follow His leading.
