Before you read this study understand that we do not teach, we share and then ask all who read the following take it to God and verify it with Him. We believe a lot of the world is misled by the church of the world and religion vs the one true church. And to know the truth can only come from knowing, not just knowing of God, John 14:26, I John 2:27, Rev 3:19-22.
Many are called but few are chosen because many are misled by false teachers Matthew 7:13-15 so we help all who wants to know the truth how to find and know the truth of and by God and not of and by man.

Problem Solving

Pastor J. R. Wilhite, author   Close Window

Before I start I want you to not take any of the information on this page personally. I am using my past to help show most of our problems in resolving our problems in life.

Problem solving is something we all have to do from time to time.

When I was in my 20's and 30's all the way into my mid 40's I would exhaust all my options and then I would turn to God.

By then the problem would have escalated to the point that I had no time left. Then I would expect God to perform a miracle at that moment. If it did not happen I would blame God. I never would blame me, it had to be God's fault. I mean He is God and He could do anything and what I needed was not that big of a deal for God, so why did He not do it. I thought I was a good Christian; I went to church; I tithed; I gave; and I spent at least 10 hours a week helping. So why did God let me down?

Then of course I would even wonder if God was listening, or if He even WAS.

I have heard it said that due to predestination, none of us know if we are even saved. I heard a sermon in the mid 90's that we all had a plane ticket but we would not know if it was validated until we get ready to board.

Some teach "once saved, always saved" so there was no way that you could sin more than God could forgive.

Then there are those who honestly believe that if you are not baptized with water you are not saved,

The problem with all of these is:

John 3

16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Romans 8

  1. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

Romans 10

9. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

The problem is that John 3:16-18, Roman 8:16 and Romans 10:9-10 in the above verses we see that God sent Jesus to save the world, not part but all. Then we read that if we profess with our mouth and believe in our heart we are saved. And in Romans 8 we find out we are children of God, not some, but all who believe and listen.

Not saved by water, works, or anything we can do, but by the blood of Jesus

All we do is based on faith. If we want health that is whole, finances that are debt free and abundant, relationships that grow, and so on, it only comes by our relationship with God first and foremost.

Paul spent 8 years after meeting Jesus on the road to Damascus getting to know God before going out to help others to know God.

The idea in the beginning was for mankind to be companions for God, equal to a degree.

God created the angels, and 3 were archangels, Michael, Gabriel and Lucifer. Out of the 3 only one was anointed; that was Lucifer.

Michael is the angel of war or the 1/3rd of the angels under Michael are assigned to us to protect us. Gabriel is the messenger, so he 1/3rd of the angels are messengers. Then there was Lucifer; Lucifer was in charge of praise. So based on the 3 archangels there are messengers (word of God, etc), then the protection angels, to protect us and the last of the 3 is praise. So you should get an idea of how God wants it, protection, word and praise.

This might shock some of you, but a man can become an angel as much as a dog can become a cat.

God created the angels to be our helpers read Hebrews chapters 1-4.

So here are some misunderstood or mal-taught ideas and scripture.

There is much more, but we will get into the rest in another study down the road.

Some of the main reasons for problems remaining in our lives are not the fault of God or anyone else, but of ourselves.

The idea is that we have faith and that faith is what it is all about. All faith believes without doubt. So remove doubt from belief and you are in faith.

What you need to do is hear from God and when you do hear you need to ask it one question.

1 John 4

1. Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

2. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

3. And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

To hear from God first spend time everyday listening (at first you will hear nothing, but) in time you will hear, then ask the above question if it answers that Jesus came in the flesh you have the one and only God.

Now listen and obey,

Before you get started there are a few things you can do to help your growth and hearing from God.

  1. Stop all judging including judging yourself.
  2. Forgive all, including yourself. To forgive is to forget a well.
  3. Do not wait until you have a problem to seek God.

The above 3 are the most important things we need to do.

Prayer is asking - you ask God once and then thank Him for the answer. Imagine you call a friend in NY for $100 on Friday night. You live in Texas and they say they will put it in the mail on Saturday. You talk to them again on Sunday, do you ask for the $100 again? No, but you could thank them for sending it even though you have not yet received the check. With God it is the same, first ask, then thank Him by praising Him.

Other studies that will help you grow and learn more as well as they were a huge help with this study.

My prayer for you is:

3 John 1

2. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth

Remember to show faith when you pray, then praise and give thanks.

God Bless You as you hear His words and follow His leading.
