"Give" is one of those words you can find in almost every book of the Bible. Below is its definition and some scripture about the word give. Strong's Ref. # 1325 Romanized didomi Pronounced did'-o-mee a prolonged form of a primary verb (which is used as an altern. in most of the tenses); to give (used in a very wide application, properly, or by implication, literally or figuratively; greatly modified by the connection): KJV--adventure, bestow, bring forth, comit, deliver (up), give, grant, hinder, make, minister, number, offer, have power, put, receive, set, shew, smite (+ with the hand), strike (+ with the palm of the hand), suffer, take, utter, yield. Matthew 7 Matthew 10 8. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. Matthew 11 Matthew 13 Luke 6 Ok, by now you got the idea of the word give in a positive roll for us. Now let's look at it in two other ways it is used. Matthew 12 How are we judged? By every word that comes out of our mouth. Also notice it is stated we will give account for our words. So we are given all we need, and the only time we will give to the Lord is when we give account for our words. Romans 10 Our salvation is also based on the same idea. A thought starts and if we keep it and dwell on it, it will become words, and then action. As long as the thought is stopped before words then it will never be an action. The same is for our salvation, we believe, but we profess what we believe in our heart, and what is in our heart came from our mind. So if we cast down the bad thoughts then they never become a negative word or action in our life. 2 Corinthians 10 So we are given rest; we are forGIVEN our sins; we forGIVE others, and we are given every good thing. Just as we give it is also given unto us, so if we give nothing, we get nothing. Some have to learn to give before they can learn to get because in the giving comes the humbleness to receive as well as to give. So, if you want to enhance your walk with God, start by listening for His voice. Use I John 4:1-3 to be sure that who you hear is God, and God only. Then be obedient to every word He says. Give unto others as you would have them give unto you. In so many words, if you want others to treat you a certain way, then treat them equally. The same goes for money; if you need money then you seek those to whom you can give. Other studies that will help you grow and learn more as well as they were a huge help with this study.
