Before you read this study understand that we do not teach, we share and then ask all who read the following take it to God and verify it with Him. We believe a lot of the world is misled by the church of the world and religion vs the one true church. And to know the truth can only come from knowing, not just knowing of God, John 14:26, I John 2:27, Rev 3:19-22.
Many are called but few are chosen because many are misled by false teachers Matthew 7:13-15 so we help all who wants to know the truth how to find and know the truth of and by God and not of and by man.

In the study we are about to undertake there are certain truths with which many will have trouble.

1 Timothy 6

3. If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;

4. He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,

5. Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

6. But godliness with contentment is great gain.

7. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

8. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

9. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

10. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

11. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

12. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

13. I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;

14. That thou keep this comandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:

15. Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of Lords;

16. Who only hath imortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.

17. Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

What you have read talks about two types of riches, worldly and Godly riches.

Even though they both can produce the same thing in one's life only one will set you free, while the other enslaves you to it.

Riches of this world are riches that become a god to many. They will protect it at all cost, horde it and keep it as a precious stone.

Mark 4

18. And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,

19. And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

Above you have read that one of the three ways we are prevented from becoming good ground for the word is due to deceitfulness of riches.

Now the Godly riches I mentioned are also shown to us in Mark.

Mark 10

17. And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?

18. And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.

19. Thou knowest the comandments, Do not comit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.

20. And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth.

21. Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.

22. And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.

23. And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

(You see here this man could not let go of his riches, and his riches became his god.)

24. And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!

25. It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

26. And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?

27. And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

28. Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.

29. And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,

30. But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

As we read on, we found that if we give anything up for the Lord or the word's sake we will get it back and more. So if the rich young fool had given it all up, he would have gotten it back and more.

He could not see past his riches and earthly possessions, and that is the problem with most, that the things of this earth blind us to the truth and to the real riches.

Yes, you will get the funds needed to survive and more.

Just a short time later Jesus told them the following. Now remember this in only a short time after what they heard in Chapter 10.

Mark 11

22. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

23. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

24. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

25. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

26. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

As you can see, the Lord showed us how we could have what ever we want.

The problem is most want help from God because they are in trouble and more times than not, He does help them. But it is like putting a band aid on a whole in a tank of water. In time the problem will be bigger and worse.

The real solution comes in replacing the tank with a new one. Or for us, to replace this flesh by crucifying it daily. Then we can ask for what really matters and then we will grow in the way needed to handle all that is promised to us and more.

Before you can run, you have to walk, and before you walk you have to stand and even before you stand you have to sit up. So there are steps in our growth, and if our eyes are on the Lord's face and not His hand we will run.

Now let us review some misunderstandings in the above verses.

1. Money is the root of all evil. NO, the love of money is the root of evil.

2. It is better to be poor than rich. No, it is better to be rich as long as the riches do not control us.

3. It is riches that lead to all the problems of most people. No, it does to a lot, but there are more than just riches that cause problems. Read Mark 4; there were 3 different ways a person could be prevented from being good ground.

4. Most ministries want nothing more than our money. It may seem that way and some may even be that way, but most truly want to do the will of the Lord, but just do not know how.

As you have needs learn to listen to the Father and gain His guidance, so that before the problem comes you can be prepared on how to handle it, no matter if it is financial, healing, relationship, or just everyday concerns.

What I have learned is to be sure and place my trust in God and not money. Today's money can be worthless tomorrow, but with God in control you never will go with out.

My prayer for you is:

3 John 1

2. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth

Remember to show faith when you pray, then praise and give thanks.

God Bless You as you hear His words and follow His leading.
