Before you read this study understand that we do not teach, we share and then ask all who read the following take it to God and verify it with Him. We believe a lot of the world is misled by the church of the world and religion vs the one true church. And to know the truth can only come from knowing, not just knowing of God, John 14:26, I John 2:27, Rev 3:19-22.
Many are called but few are chosen because many are misled by false teachers Matthew 7:13-15 so we help all who wants to know the truth how to find and know the truth of and by God and not of and by man.

You Can Be In Control

On a regular I basis use the literal translation of the Bible. This is done and shown to help you understand the true intent of the word of God. The King James is the only version (other than amplified) that I have found to be accurate. The worse of all is the NIV, and all the others are not far behind. Most of the other versions than the King James, including the New King James were translated with a comittee voting on what stayed what went and what the meaning was. The King James has no flaws other than the difference in our language and that of 1612 AD. And of course the difference between England and us. Example of today's difference. We say mail, they say post, we say elevator, they say lift, we say lawyer they say solicitor. As you can see we have a difference in the words we use and they're meaning today. And today's English in England is different than that of 1612 AD. SO there is a big difference today for us in America. But the translation and ultimate meaning are the same and correct.
Here is a simple example of how they in England in 1612 read about Job verses the way we read it.

Job 2

  1. And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? And still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.

We read it as God pointing out Job to Satan to test him. And in doing so have the idea Job is about being tested by God via Satan.

But this is how they read it in 1612 AD, they read it as a question, God asking what Satan was doing.

Here is how it reads in the literal.

3.

|0559| And said

|3068| Yahweh

|0000| to

|7854| Satan,

|7760| Have you set

|3824| your heart

|0000| on

|5650| My servant

|0347| Job?

|3588| For

|0369| not is {any}

|0000| like him

|0776| in the earth,

|0376| a man

|8535| perfect

|3477| and upright,

|3373| revering

|0430| God

|5186| and turning away

|7451| from wrong.

|5750| And he still is

|2388| holding on

|8538| to his integrity,

|5496| although you incited Me

|0000| against him,

|0006| to destroy him

|2600| for nothing.

"Satan have you set your heart on my servant Job?" Goad asking Satan what he is doing and why.

Now that you are starting to see the difference, here is what I suggest if you must read other versions, have the KJV next to whatever version you use and read the same in both to get the fullness of the Bible.

Also remember that Hebrew is a picturesque language meaning it is much more wordy than English, and Greek is not as wordy as Hebrew but a lot more than English. Knowing this then read on and you might with this new knowledge see and read more than you have before.

Romans 1

  1. Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

We look at this verse in King James (above) and literal (below) to help understand the purpose of this study.

21.

|1360| Because

|1097| having known

|3588| -

|2316| God

|3756| not

|5613| as

|2316| God

|1392| they glorified,

|2228| nor

|2168| were thankful.

|0235| But

|3154| became vain

|1722| in

|3588| the

|1261| reasonings

|0846| of them,

|2532| and

|4654| was darkened

|3588| the

|0801| undiscerning

|0846| of them

|2588| heart.

Vain, imagination, reasoning, thought are words from the above verse and used in the main verse of this study (2 Corinthians 10:5) and below are their full meaning from Strongs:

Pronounced dee-al-og-is-mos'

from GSN1260; discussion, i.e. (internal) consideration (by implication, purpose), or (external) debate:

2 Corinthians 10

  1. But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.
  2. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
  3. (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
  4. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

We are to take control of every thought and cast down all that are not of God.

5.

|3053| imaginations

|2507| demolishing,

|2532| and

|3956| every

|5313| high thing

|1869| lifting up

|9999| {itself}

|2596| against

|3588| the

|1108| knowledge

|3588| of

|2316| God,

|2532| and

|0163| bringing into captivity

|3956| every

|3540| thought

|1519| into

|3588| the

|5218| obedience

|5547| of Christ,

Strong's Ref. # 3053

Romanized logismos

Pronounced log-is-mos'

from GSN3049; computation, i.e. (figuratively) reasoning (conscience, conceit):

KJV--imagination, thought.

Strong's Ref. # 2507

Romanized kathaireo

Pronounced kath-ahee-reh'-o

from GSN2596 and GSN0138 (including its alternate); to lower (or with violence) demolish (literally or figuratively):

KJV--cast (pull, put, take) down, destroy.

Strong's Ref. # 163

Romanized aichmalotizo

Pronounced aheekh-mal-o-tid'-zo

from GSN0164; to make captive:

KJV--lead away captive, bring into captivity.

Now you have an idea of where we are going with this study.

But first understand you have no original thought. Others have already thought all you have thought or will think in the future and none was yours or mine, it was either God of Satan.

That is right we receive either God's thoughts or Satan's.

Paul in 2 Corinthians 10 and in Romans 1 never states that you are not to think a thought, or to stop thinking in a certain manner. But he does state it, as it is something that will come from another source and when it does cast it down, totally destroy it.

So if all thought is from either God or Satan then you already hear from God and Satan.

Romans 8

5. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

6. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

  1. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
  2. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
  3. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
  4. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

You can control the thoughts you have, you can either have pleasant thoughts, thoughts of life, love, positive thoughts or negative, strife, offense, hate, anger, evil.

If you do not take control and allow the thoughts to come then you may find yourself with more of the bad than the good thoughts.

Here are a few examples. I will use myself, and no I am not perfect.

I was in the store getting a few things and in a rush, I had left my daughter at home in pain while I went and got her prescription for pain meds. While waiting I got some other items, I noticed the store was packed, and when I got to the breakfast isle, the people in front of me stopped waiting for a elderly (60's) couple to come around the corner. After waiting a few minutes I said excuse me, not loud or mean, but with authority. They took it the wrong way and made a negative coment. I went on by and on the way back to get the medicine I was hoping to find this couple. I wanted to tell them that the reason I was in a rush was I had a sick child at home. I was hopping to make them feel bad for what they said. I did not see them and the prescription was going to be another 10 -15 minutes so I decided to check out, and guess whom I saw?

I made my coment and it did not go the way I thought it would, and they got even angrier. It hit me I was operating in the carnal and how wrong I was to do so. So I apologized to them and said you know you were right I had no reason to say anything. The wait was not that long to cause strife. Well we talked and they even smiled and I noticed that I had been operating like this for a while. Then when I went back to get the prescription I remembered thinking how rude the lady working there was. And we used to talk all the time. SO instead of complaining about her being rude I just stated we had not talked in a while and the next thing I knew was we were talking and she told me she was pregnant again, her last baby was only 2 months old. No wonder she seemed distant, I would also. But when I left she was laughing, and I noticed if I had continued the way I was going the older couple would of left in offense and carried it on to others as would of this lady doing my prescription. But instead they were happy and laughing, all because I decided to take control.

All I had to do at the beginning of the day was cast down those negative thoughts, but due to laziness, I decided to allow them to remain.

It is your choice to keep or cast down, and now that you know you are getting thoughts from God, maybe you can go the extra bit and start talking to and hearing from God as well

Remember always test the spirits you hear to be sure it is of God and not of Satan.

1 John 4:1-3

  1. Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
  2. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
  3. And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

And I pray that you prosper in your relationship with God, do not do as Job and wait till it is all gone and you are at the worse spot of your life. Do it now!

Always in prayer, ask only once, but praise constantly in prayer.

My prayer for you is:

3 John 1
2.
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth

Remember to show faith when you pray, then praise and give thanks.

God Bless You as you hear His words and follow His leading.
