Before you read this study understand that we do not teach, we share and then ask all who read the following take it to God and verify it with Him. We believe a lot of the world is misled by the church of the world and religion vs the one true church. And to know the truth can only come from knowing, not just knowing of God, John 14:26, I John 2:27, Rev 3:19-22.
Many are called but few are chosen because many are misled by false teachers Matthew 7:13-15 so we help all who wants to know the truth how to find and know the truth of and by God and not of and by man.

To some this will be a review to some it will be new. It is needed to review at least once a quarter.
What some need to understand is that salvation is believing in this verse.

Romans 10

  1. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
  2. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

A person who does not believe in the above cannot and will not say they believe it. It takes faith in God to believe in the above. So our salvation is very basic. That is just the beginning. Actually Jesus tells us that when we have revealed to us who He is as the Son of God and the Christ we are then a part of the church. In Matthew 16:15-18 you read where it says, "you are Peter", it should be "Petros", or "a piece of the rock." "Upon this rock" is "petra" or bedrock. So, at this point you are saved and a part of the church. Now you need to grow into Christ. Some call it the infilling of the Holy Spirit. Christ is a Greek word for anointing, anointing as a dry sponge in a bowl of water. We should be this way with the Spirit of God (Luke 4:18). We should be filled with the Spirit, anointed with the Spirit, in, on, and through us. Then we need to grow in all of the fruit of the Spirit.

Galatians 5

  1. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
  2. Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

The fruit of the Spirit this is what should be evident in our life to be seen as we grow. This is the fruit Jesus speaks of in Matthew 7. He starts by showing those who have fruit of their labor as not being of Him, but by their labor you would think they were. He is referring to the fruit of the Spirit. This fruit can only come from the Lord and only can come from our relationship with Him. Many can do the works, and many will and He will say He does not know them (Matthew 7).

So to grow in this we need to hear from God, listen to Him and stay in His word.

Three things that will block the fruit are doubt, strife and offense.

You start as a non-believer, and then you become a believer and then should grow into knowledge. This type of knowledge is belief without doubt. It is like we know the air we breathe will be here for us from one breath to the next, so we should know His word is true also. Not believing, BUT, that is doubt, and that is why so many operate in a hit and miss type of faith.
If you grow into knowledge of this type you will operate in the fullness of your faith, the faith you were given by God, the faith of God. In I Cor 1:24 we learn those of Christ, not church, but Christ are of the power and wisdom of God. That is knowledge and that knowledge helps you understand that you can do much more than you ever imagined. Without that knowledge you would be limited. Now you need to bring your belief up to the level of knowledge as well, so you can operate without doubt. That comes by listening to God daily, reading His word, and not doubting at all. Knowing that you have the power and wisdom in you, not just believing but knowing, this will take you to where you can also operate in that knowledge.

Two things that cause it to be blocked more than anything else are strife and offense. You need to start watching and making sure you do not allow either one in. If you can remember when the last time was that you were in either, then it has not been long enough. If you cannot, then you are on the right path and stay on it. I do not mean the last time it tried to get you, but the last time it got you.
Now the two ways to avoid strife and offense are to forgive all, and do not judge.

Judging will start you on the road to both strife and offense and unforgiveness will keep you there.

So start now, forgive all, and stop judging others. Make sure when strife and offense raise their ugly head in your life you are ready to cast them out.

I have had some friends stay at our home for almost 3 months now due to a flood Houston had. They have noticed the peace in which we live. It is because first we have God as the center of our home, but also because we have learned how to live in the fruit.

We stopped judging others, and if we caught ourselves starting to, we repented of it, and we have forgiven all.

You too can have the peace and all of the fruit in your life. On a regular basis make sure you are not operating in strife and offense, forgive and do not judge and it will come.

My prayer for you is:

3 John 1
2.
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth

Remember to show faith when you pray, then praise and give thanks.

God Bless You as you hear His words and follow His leading.
