Before you read this study understand that we do not teach, we share and then ask all who read the following take it to God and verify it with Him. And to know the truth can only come from knowing, not just knowing of God, John 14:26, I John 2:27, Rev 3:19-22.

Why After A Prayer is Answered Things go Bad

I have heard this one more than I care to count. Someone will email me and ask why after they got their prayer answered that things went south on them.

Of course most (if not all) the time is because after the emergency is over & the crisis is resolved most people forget to keep up with God much less praise Him. They allow Satan right back in and it starts all over again.

I have seen even the best Christians get in trouble this way. One had helped a ministry to the point that the ministry started depending and having faith in this person instead of God. So what had made this person in good standing and well off, then hurt them? God blessed him to bless others, but they took it and passed it along to bless without guidance, just at a request. He made it easy for this ministry to believe in him and that a man would meet all of their needs. In doing so, this man allowed Satan in to mess with his finances.

If he had sought guidance from God, God would have warned him about what he was doing and the problem could have been prevented. Now after 2-1/2 years the entire family is finally starting to see daylight and, in time, will be back on top.

As with Job this affected the entire family not just the man. Satan got in and destroyed all he could for as long as he could. God wanted to help, but at first this man did not (as Job did not) realize he had done it to himself and could reverse the problem in prayer and forgiveness.

Most do not have this problem. Most have a need arise and look everywhere they can to fix it. Then one day when they can do nothing else, they turn to God. Usually by then it is extremely late so they expect God to perform a miracle overnight. If they had, at the beginning, gone to God He could have prevented this from ever happening.

Most people do not realize that almost all blessings are already here waiting and all we need to do is have faith to receive them. With time short they want a quick fix and sometimes, some people get a major miracle. But when they get their help and the pressure is gone so are they (from God). They do not realize they have kicked God out and allowed Satan back in to start on them all over again.

So, if you want prayer answered, look up the scriptures to back up what you need and stand on them in faith. When the answer comes don't leave the stand. Continue now to praise God. Promise yourself you will not allow this to happen again by staying in His Word and in relationship with Him.

2. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth
