Before you read this study understand that we do not teach, we share and then ask all who read the following take it to God and verify it with Him. We believe a lot of the world is misled by the church of the world and religion vs the one true church. And to know the truth can only come from knowing, not just knowing of God, John 14:26, I John 2:27, Rev 3:19-22.
Many are called but few are chosen because many are misled by false teachers Matthew 7:13-15 so we help all who wants to know the truth how to find and know the truth of and by God and not of and by man.

Who am I in Christ?

Pastor J. R. Wilhite, author   Close Window

Some will read this and say that it is too harsh or no one can follow what it says, but I tell you it is scriptural and truth and some will follow it, but not all. The main reason that some will be offended by this study is because deep down inside them they know it is true and that God has been trying to speak to them about this for a while.

Those of you who will take time before reading this study to be at peace and not rushed and open your minds to the chance that what you read is true and real will be blessed. All of you should know that we have an enemy and his point of existence is to defeat God and he does it to through our mind.

We are to actually hear from God, not just read His word, but hear His Voice. Some will say this is not possible or that if you think you actually hear His voice then you are crazy. I guess some pretty famous people were crazy, like Noah, Moses, and Jesus just to name a few.

John 14

26. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

We are to be taught all things, not just things of God, but all things by God.

1 John 2

27. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

The word Christ translated from Greek means anoint, anointed one, and anointing. In Luke 4:18 Jesus said that He was anointed with the Spirit of God. So above when it says anoint it is the spirit of God, in you, on you, and all the way through you. As water is to a sponge, the Spirit should be to us.

1 John 4

1. Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

2. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

3. And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Many will say it is wrong to test God and some of those say they hear from God. How do they know for sure that it is God and not Satan if they do not test as stated above what spirit they are hearing from? Satan can imitate light so he can fool the best of us.

Romans 8

16. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

The one main way you know that you are saved and never again will you doubt it nor can it be stolen from you is when you hear God call you His child.

I can go on and on and I bet some of you have a few questions that I did not mention. Before you read any further make sure you are prepared for what follows.

What you need to know is that there are not just the lost and the saved but there are the lost, saved, church and Christ, four separate parts of our life. Some will never accept the call God puts on them for salvation and will remain lost to God forever. Some will accept the call for salvation and not the call of the church or Christ. Some will accept the call of salvation and the church, but not Christ. Then there are those few that accept it all in joy and persecution.

Nearly 2000 years ago there was what Joel prophesied about "an early out pouring of the Spirit" then there will be " the first is the beginning of grace the last is the end of grace and beginning of tribulation. All that is in between is a grace period where people get a chance to hear the truth and reject or accept it. At the beginning and the end there is persecution of levels not seen in the time between them. Why has it been so long in between? Why didn’t it occur all at once? Since it is called grace and considered a grace period, is it like a grace period of a bill?

It took God thousands of years of sowing His word in the earth to get one of faith to agree with Him to bring His Son into the earth free of sin (free of a man).

Luke 1

38. And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.

The second coming requires faith of a higher level than even that of Mary to bring Jesus back as Spiritual and physical ruler and Lord.

Jesus stated that this generation will not end until all is done in the word. He did not say these or those people will remain but this generation will not end.

A generation is 40 years in the Bible, Jesus lived 33, after Him was to be 7 years of tribulation, 33+7=40. What was and is in between is a Grace period.

Matthew 24

34. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

The reason why many of those who have lived from Jesus until now did not accept Him as Christ is either they either did not have eyes to see and ears to hear or they are agents (tools) of Satan.

Acts 9

16. For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.

17. And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

18. And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.

19. And when he had received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.

20. And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.

Do not be as Saul (Paul) with scales on your eyes; his scales were due to his being so deeply saturated with the law. There are many who place much emphasis on tradition and physical rituals and very little if any importance on the Spiritual. I have been called a "spiritualist" by pastors (not in a positive way), but that is fine with me! I would rather be a spiritualist than a legalist. The law cannot save anyone. Many, interpreting the word instead of seeking understanding have misled mankind. How is understanding instead of just interpreting it possible? Seek the Author and ask Him!

Matthew 7

13. Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14. Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

One path is narrow and the other physically wide. That is due to the one having so many (physical/flesh/wide) and the other so few (Spiritual/Spirit/narrow).

15. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

16. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

17. Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

18. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

19. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

20. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

21. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

There are two types of fruits - one is physical that anyone can produce and the other is spiritual that only a person of the Spirit can produce. Jesus meant the physical - the works of the spirit by faith and in the spirit the fruit of the Spirit.

Galatians 5

22. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23. Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

24. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

Matthew 24

4. And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Matthew 24

9. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

10. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

14. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Matthew 24

22. And accept those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

23. Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

25. Behold, I have told you before.

26. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

27. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Many false Christs have already come. In the sixteenth century Martin Luther accused the then current pope of being an antichrist. Jim Jones and others like him have led many to their end in the name of Christ.

Mark 4

10. And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable.

11. And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:

12. That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

13. And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?

14. The sower soweth the word.

15. And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

16. And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;

17. And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.

18. And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,

19. And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

20. And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

In the passage above about the sower of the in verse 20 the word fold is percent in the Greek. Fold means "many times over", but percent means "part of the original number". This could be interpreted two different ways in modern language, but when the King James was translated they read fold as we do percent.

There are four groups in the sower of the word one gets zero percent, one gets 30%, one gets 60%, and the last gets 100%.

The first is the lost. They hear the word and may even to some degree accept it. For them anything will cause them to doubt. The next minute, the next hour, or at most the next day it will be gone and they are once again of the world. This group is the lost and they range from those who hear the word and reject it to those who accept it and lose it in a very short time.

The second group gets 30% of what is said and since it is not 100% they do not have enough to stand on their own and will lose it not as quickly as the first group, but they will lose it unless they grow. This group is the "just saved", not yet of the church or Christ.

Since the third group gets 60%, double of the second, they have a better chance of becoming of the last group. They all were at one time of the first and second group but pushed forward and grew. This group is saved and of the church but not yet of Christ.

The last group gets 100%. They get it all because these are people who were lost, then were saved, became part of the church, and pushed on to become of Christ.

To every word, verse, and book in the Bible there are three sides to it: a physical side, which deals with us; a spiritual side, which is of God; and the soul (mind, will and emotions). His mind, will, and emotions are all about not one of us perishing.

The physical is, for the most part, easy to get, but the spiritual is not unless you are of the spirit. So reading the word without the spirit is like looking outside and only seeing height and width but no depth.

Two men read a book and both got different meanings. Then one day they met the author only to discover that they both were wrong. When they learned the truth they were amazed because it was there all along, but they missed it by reading too much or too little in to the book.

Matthew 16

14. And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.

15. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

16. And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

17. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

18. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

In verse 18 the word Peter in Greek (original language of New Testament) is Petros. The proper name for Petros is Peter, but Jesus had already called Simon by the name of Peter before this verse. Petros means rock or a "piece of the rock", not the entire rock. The word rock in verse 18 is Petra and it means "bedrock". Now read verse 18 again with the correct translation:

18. And I say also unto thee, That thou art a piece of the rock, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Can you see how it makes more sense? There are two possible reasons why they used Peter instead. (1) At that moment Satan misled them because Satan knew that if we learned the truth about the church it would be harder for him to get us to fall away. (2) or it is to justify the original church’s being the church Jesus chose.

The point is in verse 17 Jesus said, "For flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven." What is the church based on? If you go by what scripture says and not man it is based on a revealed knowledge from God of who Jesus is as the Son and the Christ. In so many words when you hear from God regarding who Jesus is as the Son and the Christ you are a piece of the church. Of course that requires you to hear from God not man (flesh and blood did not reveal this to you).

Strong's Ref. # 4074

Romanized Petros

Pronounced pet'-ros

a primary word; a (piece of) rock (larger than GSN3037); as a name, Petrus, an apostle:

KJV--Peter, rock. Compare GSN2786.

Salvation requires that we hear from God. He will speak to us about what we need or that we need Jesus. We may not realize it at the time but He does. Many misunderstand their call to Jesus or the church as a call to the ministry and this is why so many churches close every year.

You have a choice either try to learn and understand that we are to hear God’s voice and that it is all about the spirit not the physical or continue as you are and hope for the best. If you have any doubt or in any way are not 100% SURE of all your beliefs then you need to hear from God in order for the doubt to be removed along with the lie and be replaced with faith and truth.

If you have read any other studies at godsgifttoyou.com then the following (as with a lot in this study) should already be familiar. Even if you do already know it, is good to go over again to get it deeper in you.

God is a spirit and the only way to worship Him is in spirit and truth. That is not by the spirit and truth of this world; that is not the truth but a lie and not the Holy Spirit but that of Satan.

John 4

23. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

24. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Peace, spirit, and truth are all things of God. The so-called truths of the world are lies, deceptions, and manipulation.

John 14

27. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

So far you should realize that you are first lost, then you are saved, then you can become a piece of the church, and then grow into Christ. To remain at any one level only and not grow increases your chances of falling away from God.

If you have a Bible CD and can search it, search the New Testament for the word Spirit and read each and every verse. When that’s done even the most skeptical of readers should believe that we are to be led by and walk constantly in the Spirit of God. We are to be guided by and hear from God in all things, all of the time.

You are a soul (mind, will, and emotions) that is who you truly are. The body is no more than a vehicle that takes you from point A to point B. The body, like any vehicle, will break down one day, but who you are will never end. If you are of the spirit you have life eternal with God; if you do not, you have eternal torment. The Spirit is like a key to get you into His presence, but much more it also teaches you where to go and how to get in. Many will miss the next life because they did not have the Spirit to guide them on the right path to the right place.

There are three basics to salvation: (1) Believing that Jesus died, was raised from the dead, lives today and professing Jesus Him as Lord. (2) Forgiveness–if we can not forgive we can not be forgiven and if we are not forgiven we are on the wrong path.

Matthew 6

14. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

15. But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

No matter what, without forgiveness we are not saved, and we can only be forgiven if we believe in Jesus and forgive all including self.

(3) Not judging–Giving up judging, pre-judging, and condemning is a must.

Matthew 7

1. Judge not, that ye be not judged.

2. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

3. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

4. Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

5. Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

Jesus did not come to condemn or judge but to save (John 3:17). No matter what you believe we are not to do differently than Jesus but as He did.

The problem is judging leads to unforgiving and unforgiving leads to hating, jealousy, deceit, lies, violence, and death. When we truly forgive we will know it because it will feel like a huge weight was lifted off of us.

Satan will use unforgiving to keep us under his thumb. He will convince us that even God would not forgive the person for whatever it was they did. The problem is unforgiving does not bring anyone back from the grave, or repair a damage, etc. But forgiveness does repair and helps us cope with loss.

If you think about what Jesus did for you, the pain, suffering, and that He did not deserve of it (we DO), but He took it upon Himself so we would not have to. Can you really live with not forgiving when you know Jesus forgave even those who did that to Him and He forgives us? The spirit will help us deal with judging, not forgiving, and faith. The physical (flesh) will heap more and more of its own upon us until it kills us and destroys all we love.

Luke 9

23. And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

You need to ask, "What did Jesus do? How did He live? When He said to deny self and follow Him what does that mean?"

Israel was the physical bloodline of God's chosen (preparing for His coming for all to be saved). Then after Jesus’ resurrection God gave everyone who would believe a chance to be of the spiritual bloodline (preparing for His return to reunite the physical and the spiritual). The Jews did not recognize Jesus as the Messiah because they were looking in the physical only. Many Christians today are complacent, as the first century Jews were, and will miss His return because they are not of the spirit, as well, but of the physical only.

We start off in the womb. Our life span is about 9 months. Our universe is about the size of a basketball. Our needs are all met in the womb; we are fed, protected and loved. We have no need for cars, jewelry, or any things of this world. The womb is the first step toward our next life and obtaining a life of misery or blessings. In the womb it is determined whether we are male or female.

The next step, the one we are in now, determines whether we are saved or lost. Our life span is longer than in the womb, but compared to eternity it is not even as much as a blink of an eye. Our universe seems infinite and we have our needs met by our actions. Everything we have in this life of the physical, homes, cars, etc is only temporary and will in time be no more. What we decide here regarding our next life is not temporary and has greater meaning than anything we do here.

Matthew 15

18. But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.

Those who understand that what they sow into their mind (heart) will proceed from their mouth and defile them are wise–if they make changes and feed their mind properly.

2 Corinthians 10

5. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Luke 12

18. And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.

19. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.

20. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?

21. So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

22. And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.

23. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.

There are two types in the kingdom: (1) Those who are anointed to go forward with the word (2) Those who are anointed to support the ones who go forward. That does not mean just money (even though money is a tool and helps), but it also means prayer, and doing whatever else God guides.

Review

The term Christian was first used in Antioch in a negative way.

Acts 11

26. And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

Christian (as defined by dictionary.com)

adj.

  1. Professing belief in Jesus as Christ or following the religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus.
  2. Relating to or derived from Jesus or Jesus's teachings.
  3. Manifesting the qualities or spirit of Jesus; Christlike.
  4. Relating to or characteristic of Christianity or its adherents.
  5. Showing a loving concern for others; humane.

n.

  1. One who professes belief in Jesus as Christ or follows the religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus.
  2. One who lives according to the teachings of Jesus.

from GSN5548; anointed, i.e. the Messiah, an epithet of Jesus:

    KJV--Christ.

To be a Christian, Christ like, is to be of the anointing. Jesus said He was anointed with the Spirit of God. Since He is the Christ (anointed) that which anointed Him, we should be anointed of as well if we are of Christ.

    Luke 4

    18. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

    Strong's Ref. # 5548

    Romanized chrio

    Pronounced khree'-o

probably akin to GSN5530 through the idea of contact; to smear or rub with oil, i.e. (by implication) to consecrate to an office or religious service:

    KJV--anoint.

To best understand the word anoint, think of a sponge that is dripping wet from water. As the sponge is with water we should be with the Spirit. In us, on us, through us is how the Spirit should be with us if we are of Christ.

First God will call you to Him; some actually hear, others feel something pulling them towards something that later they realize was God pulling them to Jesus. All who are truly saved were saved by a call in their life to the Lord and most remember something that was taking them to the Lord and pulling them to Him.

If you are saved you have accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior and believe God raised Him from the dead and have professed Jesus to others. When you are saved you already have a spirit, and the Holy Spirit then connects with that spirit in you.

    Romans 8

    16. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

The above verse explains how you know that you have a spirit and the Spirit of God witnesses to your spirit. When it happens that you actually hear God call you His child you know you are saved and all doubt is removed with faith.

Next God will try to continue to talk to you and if you listen He will tell you who Jesus is as the Son and the Christ. When you hear this and understand, you are then a piece of the community (church) of Jesus.

    Matthew 16

There are three reasons why any of this is new to you, that no one has taught you this before, or that it seemed vague.

    1. You have not tried to hear from God or did not listen to Him.
    2. You have been caught up in tradition and rituals of man.
    3. No one you are listening to knew to teach this.

Why is it now becoming known and so slowly? We are just getting into the last outpouring of the Spirit of God as told by Joel and Peter. In the earlier outpouring much was learned and known. In the later one, the one we are just going into, the same happens - that which was lost is known again.

How and why was it lost? Mankind's preferred desire was to have a man to rule and teach instead of God plus lack of belief in hearing from God. Mainly because Satan does not sleep and he does not live a mere 60, 80 or 120 years, he has been here since the beginning, so he has had a longer time to prepare. He spends 24 hours a day, seven days a week on the lie Vs our few hours a week that we spend learning the truth.

    Salvation

    n.

    1. Preservation or deliverance from destruction, difficulty, or evil.
    2. A source, means, or cause of such preservation or deliverance.

  7. Christianity.
    1. Deliverance from the power or penalty of sin; redemption.
    2. The agent or means that brings about such deliverance.

Some believe they are saved by water Baptism - no matter that John the Baptist stated the one who followed him (Jesus) would baptize with the Holy Spirit and fire (Matthew 3:11); no matter that in Ephesians 2:8 we are told that we are saved by grace through faith, not of anything we can do.

There is a long history of mankind rejecting God in all ways. In Israel, instead of God as their king, they wanted a man. In the days of Jesus they did not realize He was their Messiah because they were looking only in the physical not the spiritual at all. It has continued until this very day that people either are misled (some out of ignorance and some not) or prefer relying on a man or woman of God to be their "go between" for them and God. Some reject Him out of fear due to their lifestyle or things that they had done in their life. Some reject Him out of fear that they would have to change their life. Some reject Him due to a lie that since they were born to parents who belonged to a certain denomination that they are automatically saved.

Have you noticed how the ones the furthermost out from God change the most and their salvation seems to be the most visible and seem to be all at once, almost in a blink of an eye? This is because they have the fewest walls of religion and of church of this world for God to tear down. It is not the walls of this world that slow us down in our changing from the world to God but the walls of religion that slow us down the most. The walls of religion do more damage than any other walls in us.

What are walls? The walls we have that divide us from God, or I should say the lies we have that divide us from the truth. We all have them and since I had such a religious past my conversion was a lot slower than my wife’s who had very little religion, if any. Those of religion and church of this world are the hardest to reach because they are anchored more in lies than anyone else. I know because I have been there and worked with many that have been there as well.

Are you 100% sure, no doubt at all, not even the smallest sliver of a doubt about your beliefs? If you have any doubt, no matter how small, you need to make sure that you get it out by finding that doubt and learning the truth so the doubt will be replaced with faith.

Below are a few verses for you to review about life, spirit, sin, and death.

Luke 14

26. If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

27. And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

Matthew 16

25. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

26. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

27. For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

28. Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

Matthew 10

26. Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

27. What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.

28. And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Matthew 10

32. Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

33. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

34. Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

35. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

36. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

37. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

38. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

39. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

Galatians 6

7. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Many have used this verse to justify sowing money to reap money and it is true - what ever you sow you reap, but that is only part of the truth. Not teaching the entire truth can mislead a person. What we sow in this life we reap in this life and the one to come. If we are rich and sow to be rich in this life we will be rich, but in the life to come we will be poor because we had our reward in this life.

8. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Philippians 2

10. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

Romans 2

28. For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

29. But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Romans 7

6. But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

7. What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, accept the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

8. But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.

Romans 8

1. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

2. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

3. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

4. That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

5. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

6. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

7. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

8. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Galatians 3

2. This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

3. Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

4. Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.

5. He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

6. Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.

7. Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

8. And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

9. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

10. For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

11. But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

12. And the law is not of faith: but, the man that doeth them shall live in them.

13. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

God Bless You as you hear His words and follow His leading.
