Abortion, Death Penalty, and Government

I have wrestled for years with issues like abortion, the death penalty, and government as far as scripture dictates. I know some of you are not going to agree with me, but the word will speak for itself. That is just what I did, left it up to the word of God. First abortion - is the baby, a life at conception, 3, 6, or 9 months? Well as far as the word is concerned it would have to be at least the first day of conception. Luke 1 It took Mary no longer than a day's travel to go from her home to Elisabeth. If the baby in Elisabeth recognized the baby in Mary as the Lord, then it must have been a life and considered with soul and spirit. Even the Old Testament gives reference to a zygote being alive before we even develop into a recognizable human being! Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Again, I believe abortion is between the person and God and not us and them. If we educate people on the love instead of the anger of God, more would listen and be guided by Him and then the whole issue becomes moot. Until then we have no right to judge or condemn. John 3 If Jesus will not, then how can we judge or condemn? Also, where is it showing the love and grace of God in bombing clinics and killing people. Based on the scripture we should love and not judge. Matthew 22 It is time we follow all of the teaching of Jesus and not just the ones we can take out of context to justify our actions. The death penalty is just as hard, but based on scripture it should not be. Matthew 5 Instead of letting them go free we have laws that should separate those who can not live by the law of man from those who can. Taking their life is wrong as well. In my opinion it is more merciful to terminate their life than make them live out their life in an 8 by 8 foot cell. Imagine 30, 40, 50 or more years living in an 8 by 8 foot cell, tormented with the loss of freedom and what they had done. If they must be incarcerated, it would not hurt to make them work to earn their keep and pay 1/3rd to the victim(s) (family), 1/3rd to their family, and the last 1/3rd to pay for their cell and food. This way the victim and the family of the inmate would not have to live off the tax payer. Now government, this one is easy based on where and when we live. Since we have the power to vote we can vote based on our pocket book or on our morals. Either way we have the choice. Morals would be more of what scripture meant by supporting the government. We should vote people into office and for laws based on morality. If you vote and you do so based on the word of God and allow the government to change based on vote and prayer, then you are following the word of God. I would love to say more, but I feel a lot of you need to digest what has been stated above first.
My prayer for you is: 3 John 1 2.
Remember to show faith when you pray, then praise and give thanks.
God Bless You as you hear His words and follow His leading.
