Armor, Weapons and More - The Power You Have

God has given you so many ways to protect you, guard you and look after you.

First let us look at the armor.

Ephesians 6
10. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15. And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16. Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

So stand with the full armor of God on, what for? What ever you need to stand there for, you stand therefore.

Actually the blood is first, it comes with your salvation. As with those of old wearing armor, they also wore an under garment. You have the best under garment there is, the blood of Jesus.

Matthew 23
35. That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

Matthew 26
28. For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Matthew 27
6. And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood.
7. And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in.
8. Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day.
Matthew 27
24. When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.
25. Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.

Since Jesus was innocent and spilled His blood for our salvation, He could not remain dead. He is alive with a still beating heart so His blood is still pumping today through Him as it did 2,000 years ago… The blood cleanses you of all sin, so you are pure in the eyes of God.

If the blood and armor were not enough, we can also call upon the name of Jesus and it will be done for us.

John 14
13. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

To top all of what you have off, with the anointing of God's Spirit in, on, and through you, you get the power and wisdom of God, the power of the spoken word.

1 Corinthians 1
24. But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

You also have the angels at your disposal (Hebrews), some are warriors to fight for you against the evil that would try to destroy you.

Last but not least you have the power of prayer.

For the last 10 years or so the American Medical Association has been experimenting with prayer. Where they have had prayer for a group of people versus the same type who did not have prayer, the ones with prayer did much, much better. They were not even told of the prayers!

So, go forth knowing you are covered in His blood. You have the helmet of salvation protecting your every thought. Boots of the Gospel of peace spreading the word of God were all you go. The shield of faith protecting you from every arrow slung your way. Belt of truth surrounding your groin to keep you in the truth and setting you free. And last but not least the sword of God, His word; in His word is power. Before you go into battle after applying your clothing and armor, assign your angels to tasks to protect you and look after you.

Pray the Lord's prayer and for protection and strength in all battles.

By now you should be getting the picture of just how prepared and protected you are.

John 1
1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2. The same was in the beginning with God.
3. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

After all of this, you can always use the word to protect you, defend you, and help in the battles.

John 1
14. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Blood, Armor, Name, Word, Prayer, angels and God's own power and wisdom via His Spirit.

My prayer for you is:

3 John 1

2. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth

Remember to show faith when you pray, then praise and give thanks.
