Before you read this study understand that we do not teach, we share and then ask all who read the following take it to God and verify it with Him. We believe a lot of the world is misled by the church of the world and religion vs the one true church. And to know the truth can only come from knowing, not just knowing of God, John 14:26, I John 2:27, Rev 3:19-22.
Many are called but few are chosen because many are misled by false teachers Matthew 7:13-15 so we help all who wants to know the truth how to find and know the truth of and by God and not of and by man.

Sins of the Righteous

Pastor J. R. Wilhite, author   Close Window

Colossians 1
14. In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

We have the idea that we are sinners and of the body of Christ. That is not true. You were cleaned of all sin, and became the righteous of God, and afterwards you may sin, but are not sinners. To be a sinner means to sin often, or more than once. To be of Christ and to sin means that you dropped your guard, where a sinner has no idea he/she is sinning, or that he is a sinner. If we sin we have comitted an act of sin, and since this in the area of our soul we are still not in total line with the Spirit. Then the soul allows the flesh to sin in this area. A sinner has no idea of the sin, or that they are a sinner living under and in sin, where we live in and under the blood of Jesus.

Acts 3
19. Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

Hebrews 8
12. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

If He has forgotten what we did after He forgave us, then we have no sin in His eyes, and if we comit sin again He sees it as the first and only time. We are the ones who see it as more than once. No, I am not saying you have a ticket to sin, but I am saying be careful in judging others for you have no idea what is going on with them and God.

Matthew 7
1. Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4. Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5. Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

Luke 6
36. Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
37. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

2 Peter I
8. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

We need to remember not to judge, to forgive, and if someone seems to be a sinner (instead of judging) pray for guidance from God in their life.

Remember that a sin is a sin and anything that cuts you off from God is a sin no matter how small. The difference is that murder, rape, and so forth take time to develop starting with smaller sins. If they had stopped with the "smaller" ones (lies, thinking evil thoughts, coveting) they never would have grown to the larger ones. Even if we tell "a little white lie" we have sinned and started on that path that can lead to more sin.

Mark 11
26. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

God Bless You as you hear His words and follow His leading.
