Ministry Leaders - Laymen

Some of you may be
offended by this study so I advise those who are easily offended to skip this
one for now. I have spent 25+ years
in the kingdom and I have come to know thousands of pastors and elders. Now, before we go any further
you need to understand that a good number of ministries (not all) do not teach
I John 2:20-27, John 14:26, Romans 8:16 and I Cor. 1:24. Some of these go over
it, but do not spend the time on them they need while others avoid them as much
as possible. What do these verses
have in comon? They teach that we are to be taught by God and not man. That which
comes from God is understanding, while all that comes from man is
interpretation. A lot of people are
being taught the interpretation of the Word of God based on a world based
school that interpreted the Bible instead of the understanding God gives via
His Spirit. Satan knew that if we
were divided we would fall. Matthew 12 25. And
Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against
itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself
shall not stand: Where the church had its
first problem was in understanding that Christ is a Greek word. It had not been
translated and most consider it the last name or title of Jesus. It is neither; it is describing the
Spirit of God on Him and us. Christ means "The Anointed One" or "The Anointing".
To be anointed is to be imersed into, on, and throughout something. In this
case it is saturation of the Spirit of God. Some of you now are
thinking, "Well, I am of Christ because I am saved." The Apostles in Acts were saved but not anointed until 50 days
later (Acts 2:1-15). Salvation is the
believing that Jesus died and was raised and paid the price for my sins. "Church" is any and all
who have a revelation of Who Jesus IS as the Christ and true Son of God
(Matthew 16:15-22). Christ is to be imersed
into, poured on, and saturated through & through with the Spirit of God. After salvation you seek
God and He reveals to you Who His Son is. Then, as you continue to seek God,
you are anointed in His Spirit. The problem is there are
so many leaders who do not understand this, and believe that since they have
been taught by some school they are now leaders. Think about it, Jesus,
the apostles, and the entire 1st century church had no schools for
this; so does that mean they were not leaders? Satan kept us in the
dark about the anointing and divided us by our interpretation of the Word and blinding
us to understanding as the Holy Spirit gives it. That is why so many
ministries are the same today as they were 100 years ago. Not training others
to hear and follow God, but to hear and follow a man. The word 'denomination' has the same root as the word 'denominator'
which indicates the number of parts into which one whole is divided. So when we
say we are of a denomination we are saying we are divided. I know some of you are
wondering about this study, so here are a few verses you can see now to help
and of course there is no problem reading all those others around these as
well, I do not list them here for space sake only. Isaiah 10 27. And it
shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off
thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed
because of the anointing. I John 2 27. But
the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not
that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things,
and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in
him. John
14 26. But
the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name,
he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance,
whatsoever I have said unto you. Romans 8 16. The
Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 1 Corinthians 1 24.
But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the
power of God, and the wisdom of God. Since so many are
operating on interpretation instead of understanding, this means their
congregations are as well. So what is the remedy to
this problem? Well, it is not taking
up another collection or comittee to review it, but for all of us to stop, be
quiet, and listen to God. Keep listening until we hear Him and then follow and
obey what He says to do. If you go out to evangelize
or witness about the Lord without listening to Him, then how do you know whether
or not the person you are talking to is already being helped by someone who is
listening. You could confuse or even chase them off. Two things I do not like
are Bible bashing people and the constant requests for offerings for the
ministry to grow. I believe our life style
should be a witness and by listening and following God we will reach all He has for us. Yes we allow people to
donate, but out of 11,000 pages it is only on 1 page and linked on less than
1/3 of 1 percent of the site. We
believe there are those whom God has sent our way to bless us. This is their
way of learning how to and where to donate. There are 3 groups of
leaders: Group 1 about 1/3rd
don't understand and interpret the word. Group 2 about 20% will
not teach the above verses due to fear of losing their congregations. Group 3 (all who are
left or) about 47% are trying to hear and teach based on understanding. Now, about all of us,
when Jesus came into the earth the people attended church once a week, gave of their
time, and tithed. He did not come to continue this but to fulfill it, to make
us all men and women of God, not just going to hear from a man or woman of God.
Yes, you need to, to grow, and you need fellowship, but fellowship with those
who are growing. Not for cliques, and not for a social club. You want to know why so
many are down on Christians? Imagine you are driving
to work and someone cuts you off and it seems deliberate and they almost cause
you to wreck. On the back bumper of their car is a sticker for the church they
attend or a sticker about God. Now what type of representation is this of God
to those who do not know Him at all. This is what should
happen, we are called, we feel empty inside and know we need something. Now we
are saved, we have professed Jesus as Lord. Next we should spend all the time
we can listening until we hear His voice. Then we should obey and follow and
allow the anointing to grow on us. We should realize the
fruit others need to see is not that of labor, but of the Holy Spirit. Our best testimony is
our life style. We should be operating in love and be blessed.
God Bless You as you hear His words and follow His leading.
Some ministries even teach that the Spirit and portions of the book of Acts
were for the 1st century church and are no more.
