Seed of Good and Evil

When
Adam sinned he did not give dominion to Satan, just changed his allegiance from
God to Satan as Lord. As he sinned, he received the seed (word) of knowledge of
good and evil. Until that day Adam was pure and only had good. Jesus
was called "good master" by the rich young fool, and Jesus answered God is the
only good. The word "good" is derived from "God"; to be really good you have to
be of God. We so often call people and things good and evil to the point that
we have overused both words and they have lost their true meanings. True
good is not doing good deeds; remember the way to Hell is paved with good
intentions. True
good is the love of God. It is true forgiveness (meaning to forget as well as
forgive) and the love that is with out a price and we would sacrifice ourselves
for another. The love that judges none, and condemns none, this is part of the
true good. When
we are born we have both seeds of evil and good. It is our environment as we
grow that dictates if we are of good or evil. Unfortunately today too many are
fence sitters not true good or evil. Some things they do are of one or the
other. You
can do all the good deeds you want and it will not get you into Heaven. Even
Satan can appear as light and good. In
the 4th century church the head of Rome had a good intention. If a
person wanted to have any authority or power they had to be a Christian. So in
turn many evil people were placed in places of power because they lid about
being of Christ. And for the next 1,000 years or more the church suffered with
problems like the inquisition and the crusades. If
we are really seeking God we will also seek His goodness. To do this we must
forgive, believe (no doubt), and cast down all thoughts that are not based in
God. 1.
Forgiveness is one of
the hardest things for some to do. Think about this, someone killed a loved one
of yours and due to this you could not forgive them. Seems almost natural,
right? As natural as it may seem, this act could separate you for eternity.
When you forgive you are forgiven (Mark 11:26) and as long as you believe in
God, you will join your loved one in the next life. But if you can not forgive,
you will spend eternity separated from loved ones and in torment. If Hitler
asked for forgiveness before his death, he was forgiven. 2.
Good intentions without
faith in God are the paving stones in the road to Hell. 3.
Believing without doubt
is the easiest way to forgive and the only way to be saved. 4.
Taking control of all of
your thoughts will help you to operate in good more than any other one thing. Satan
has no power. Let me say it again, SATAN HAS NO POWER. (Until we give it to
him.) Even though God is all powerful, He can not operate in this world without
us. The
idea is this, all that is done in this world is between you and I. Think of
your home who has authority in it, you, right? Well it is the same on earth. We
have the power and we allow Satan to use it. Have
you noticed the battle over your tongue? Satan
wants to force his evil thoughts into us, and he wants us to think they are
ours. Until we learn how to cast down evil thoughts we will do evil things from
time to time. We have all done bad things that afterwards we wonder why we did
it, and where it came from. You
can not get a hold of the good until you have God. Too
many go to church to show off their new car, clothes, and so on. Those who do
are the best candidates for Satan and his evil thoughts. Six
billion people are asking a god for healing, finances, etc. and less
than 3% are really praising Him, the One True God. The biggest part of
praise is walking in faith. Hebrews 11:1, 6 Remember
God gave mankind dominion over all the earth and all that is in it, so when
Adam sinned he made Satan his Lord. In doing so transformed the earth into a
planet of sin. Satan does not have dominion over the earth; we have made him
lord and that can only be changed by prayers of faith. Some
look in the wrong place, due to those who have made evil something mystical
(Ghosts, aliens, spirit guides, etc.) So
sow into your good seed and that of others and you will reap the good harvest. Here
are some verses to help you further. John
14:1-27, John 8:12-14, John 7:19, John 4:23-24 Judging
(people) = evil Condemning = evil Envy = evil Jealousy = evil Hate = evil Strife = evil Offensive = evil Unforgiveness = evil Jesus
used all of the means at His presence to convey Who and What He and God are. He
is the Light John 1:14 He
is the Way John 1:4 He
is the Truth John 8 He
is the Word John 1:1, 14 He
is the Peace John 14:27 He
is the God John 14:8-10 James
1 1:13 Let no man say when he
is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither
tempteth he any man: 1:14 But every man is
tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 1:15 Then when lust hath
conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth
death. James
1 1:25 But whoso looketh into
the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful
hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. 1:26 If any man among you
seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart,
this man's religion is vain. 1:27 Pure religion and
undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows
in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. Faith is a muscle that if not
used and stretched it will not work when you need it in your walk with God.
Exercise your faith today, and everyday to prevent its atrophying.
God Bless You as you hear His words and follow His leading.
