Before you read this study understand that we do not teach, we share and then ask all who read the following take it to God and verify it with Him. Homosexual

Up until the last half of the last century (for the most part) homosexuals had to hide their preference. I call it a condition, because it is not natural or healthy.

Some get so deep into pornography that they end up experimenting and they become bi-sexual. In time that can lead them to trying homosexuality

Sodom was one of the earliest records of Homosexuality. Sodom is where the word sodomy comes from.

Genesis 13

  1. Abram dwelled in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent toward Sodom.
  2. But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the Lord exceedingly.

Genesis 18

  1. And the Lord said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;
  2. I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.

Genesis 19

  1. But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:
  2. And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.

Here is what it states in the literal translation

Here we have men having sex with men and this was considered wicked enough by God to destroy the entire city.

The problem is, if nothing restrains a person from going into more perverse sex, then 9 times out of 10 they will not restrain themselves and continue to grow more and more perverted. Sodom had gone from a city with people who had sex in private, to group sex, and then when they tired of that they swapped husbands with husbands and wives with wives or men with men and women with women.

If you do not believe it can go down hill (and fast), look at some of the countries in the world (Europe) today that have gone as low as you can get (I will not even mention what they show, it is that low) and televise it on prime time. The US is only a few years behind them.

We are not to judge the person, but we should judge the act. If a person comits a sin, we do not judge them, but the sin itself. This is the only time we can judge other than ourselves. I do not mean just homosexual acts, but any sin.

I can go on, but for those of you who are not homosexual and are wondering what to do, that is easy. Love them as you love others; understand they have a problem; be friends.

You do not stop being friends with others who sin (drinking, liars, etc.) so why would you now.

If you are homosexual, I am not judging you. If you want help just ask the Lord. He will help you to overcome.
