Before you read this study understand that we do not teach, we share and then ask all who read the following take it to God and verify it with Him. We believe a lot of the world is misled by the church of the world and religion vs the one true church. And to know the truth can only come from knowing, not just knowing of God, John 14:26, I John 2:27, Rev 3:19-22.
Many are called but few are chosen because many are misled by false teachers Matthew 7:13-15 so we help all who wants to know the truth how to find and know the truth of and by God and not of and by man.

Word - World

Pastor J. R. Wilhite, author   Close Window

Remove Lucifer from the world and you have the word. And the word became flesh and dwelt amoung us (John 1:14) World, Lucifer, Lucifer shortened to L is for his name, L is in world and when removed it is word.

Luke 4:1-19

  1. And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led or Driven by the Spirit into the wilderness,

Jesus was full of the Spirit and led or driven to go to the wilderness.

Strong's Ref. # 4134

Romanized pleres

Pronounced play'-race

from GSN4130; replete, or covered over; by analogy, complete:

KJV--full.

Strong's Ref. # 71

Romanized ago

Pronounced ag'-o

a primary verb; properly, to lead; by implication, to bring, drive, (reflexively) go, (specially) pass (time), or (figuratively) induce:

KJV--be, bring (forth), carry, (let) go, keep, lead away, be open.

  1. Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.

Afterwards He became hungry not during, because if you are with God or feeding from the Word (as He was even in His tests) then you will not be hungry and this becomes a true fast.

Jesus stated many times how this generation would not pass until these things had happened, and until this day some of that still has not happened. So was Jesus wrong? NO; He was right. A generation in the Bible is 40 years; He lived 33 years, then add 7 years of tribulation and you have 40 years, a generation. But hasn't it been longer than 40 years? Yes, everything between His death and tribulation is Grace. Like a bill you may get which states the due date is the 1st, but they may give you a 5 day grace period before they come after you.

Matthew 23

  1. Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.

Matthew 24

  1. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Luke 21

32. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

Luke 4:3-19

  1. And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, comand this stone that it be made bread.
  2. And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
  3. And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
  4. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.
  5. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.
  6. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
  7. And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:
  8. For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:
  9. And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
  10. And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Jesus went through a test, trial, and temptation.

  1. And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.
  2. And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.
  • After Jesus went through a test, trial, and temptation He returned in the power of the Spirit.
  • 1 Corinthians 1

    1. But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

    Luke 4:15-19

    1. And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.
    2. And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
    3. And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

Some have taught that the Hebrews were in the process of studying in Isaiah when Jesus started to read, but it states He found, not was handed the area from which He was to read.

    Luke 4:18-19

    1. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
    2. To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

Yes, Jesus always had the Holy Spirit. Even John as a baby only 6 months in the womb of his mother recognized Jesus who had just been conceived in Mary.

    Mark 4

    1. And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh imediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.
    2. And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, imediately receive it with gladness;
    3. And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, imediately they are offended.
    4. And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,
    5. And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

What the last verses show is what Jesus did in the wilderness. He went to make sure He had no cares of this world, nothing of this world in Him. What hurts most Christians is either lust, cares of the world, or deceitfulness of riches.

We all need to go to the wilderness to get the world out of us. The world is usually talked about as evil or Satan. That is why when the Lord reminded me that Satan's name was Lucifer when he fell. So, we got the word corrupted by Lucifer. L is his first letter and if you remove the "l" from "world" you have "word". I know some of you are wondering what the big deal is. It is like with Santa Claus, "Satan" with the "n" moved two letters to the left becomes "Santa", a Claus in a contract is a law (clause). So we get Satan's law. What does Santa stand for but the comercialization of Christmas. Think about this: children hear from their parents about this nice old man they can see and that he can hear and see them & everything they do good or bad. So, when they get old enough to realize it is not true, they don't believe in God who they can not even see. Especially when the two (Santa and God) seem to have some of the same abilities, like in the song, he knows when you are good or bad, and so forth.

How about the fact that you worked hard for your money and then give a child the biggest and best present, but said it was from some old man that they will some day find out is not real. It was your money that bought the present! Put your own name on it, or even better put "Jesus" on it.

There are a lot of similarities. Are they real? For the most part I believe God planted them there to help us, why does it take so much to see?

    1. Man interprets God's word and we get many different denominations or non-denominations (a Denomination is a division). But if we get to know God and hear from Him we get understanding the same as anyone else who hears from God.

    1 John 2

    1. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

We are to receive an anointing from God and be taught via the anointing. Too many get saved or even filled with the Holy Spirit and then just stop there. We need to have the Spirit filling us and over flowing to the point it is coming out of all areas it can from us, to cover us in the Spirit.

  • If the Bible was written for just anyone to understand, there would be no need of the Spirit for some and it would give Satan a step up on us. Because, for Satan to understand the Bible, he has to be saved, filled with and anointed in the Spirit of God, and then we would have no enemies. So God, in His wisdom, set it up to tempt Satan to change and to bless us. No you do not have to be anointed to be saved, it just makes life easier.
  • If we truly believe, we will have no problem spending the time it takes to hear from God, and then follow Him not man.
  • I hope this study has blessed you.

God Bless You as you hear His words and follow His leading.
