Before you read this study understand that we do not teach, we share and then ask all who read the following take it to God and verify it with Him. We believe a lot of the world is misled by the church of the world and religion vs the one true church. And to know the truth can only come from knowing, not just knowing of God, John 14:26, I John 2:27, Rev 3:19-22.
Many are called but few are chosen because many are misled by false teachers Matthew 7:13-15 so we help all who wants to know the truth how to find and know the truth of and by God and not of and by man.

Salvation Lost

Pastor J. R. Wilhite, author   Close Window

Is there anything worth losing eternity for?

Offensive, strife, jealousy, grief, stress, anger, unforgiveness, judging, lack of love, hate, are just a few of the things the devil will use to try to cut you off from God.

Before we go any further let's see what it is we lose.

I know that, after dying in 1985, the next life is real and it is on the new earth and it is huge and beautiful. Just to walk, explore, and enjoy the new earth could take an eternity.

Mark 10

  1. And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,
  2. But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

No one can do anything to me that is worth losing this for, but so many are letting it happen.

They get offended or in strife and there it goes, or they do not forgive and end up judging and they lose it.

In my old neighbor hood there was an older lady that was at least in her 60s. She had a thing about black people because of something that happened to her a long time ago by one black person.

She goes to church and puts up a great show of being a good Christian, until blacks come in the picture.

It is not just white Vs black, or black Vs white, it is in your place in life, what type of family you come from, how much money you have, and so on.

Matthew 7

  1. Judge not, that ye be not judged.
  2. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
  3. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
  4. Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
  5. Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

Judging is based on what we see on the outside, or an action. This is wrong, because none of us are perfect and we all will make mistakes.

Did Jesus judge and condemn Peter for denying Him?

Matthew 26

  1. And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.

Apparently not, or how else would Peter become so great an apostle.

What about Saul? He became Paul after persecuting more Christians than anyone else and then wrote more than 70% of the New Testament.

Acts 9

  1. And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
  2. And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
  3. And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
  4. And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

John 3

  1. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Most people know John 3:16, but what about John 3:17?

John 3

  1. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Jesus did not come to condemn the world but to save it.

Mark 11

  1. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

How about forgiveness? We are told in the above verse that we have to forgive before we are forgiven.

Luke 23

  1. Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

If Jesus could forgive those who did all they had done to Him, is there anyone or anything that has been done to us worse than this, that we might not forgive?

Do you really want to hold onto that strife, offense, or anger over what someone did to you and allow that to prevent you from receiving your blessings here and eternal life in the next life?

Even if someone killed one of my children, I would have to forgive them so I could spend the next life with the child instead of in the lake of fire separated from them due to some silly reasons like I could not let it go and let God handle it.

It is like saying that to rob a bank and get a million dollars is worth spending 80 years behind bars for the one day of enjoyment I got out.

Think about it, is there really anything anyone has done to you to cut you off from all the blessings that are yours?

So many wonder why they are not healed, or out if debt. They tithe, go to church, they sing all the right songs and so on, but still miss the point. It is usually due to some unforgiveness or judging done on their part and forgetting to let go of it and forgiving.

Can you really have offense, strife, anger and so on, if you have forgiven all they have done to you?

Matthew 6

  1. After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
  2. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
  3. Give us this day our daily bread.
  4. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
  5. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
  6. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
  7. But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Just sit back and search your heart, your soul for any unforgiveness or any where you have judged and ask God to forgive you. Now let it go, forget it, this is true forgiveness.

God Bless You as you hear His words and follow His leading.
