Before you read this study understand that we do not teach, we share and then ask all who read the following take it to God and verify it with Him. We believe a lot of the world is misled by the church of the world and religion vs the one true church. And to know the truth can only come from knowing, not just knowing of God, John 14:26, I John 2:27, Rev 3:19-22.
Many are called but few are chosen because many are misled by false teachers Matthew 7:13-15 so we help all who wants to know the truth how to find and know the truth of and by God and not of and by man.



What was the message Jesus preached?

First, the Bible is not the word, Jesus is the Word.
John 1:14
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

 The Bible is our manual to learn about God, and how to reconnect to what was lost when Adam sinned.
We are reborn into the kingdom of God and being so we are like babies when we are reborn;

John 3:3
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

And like babies we grow according to our surroundings.
We spend a few hours a week with the manual and in prayer. But then the other 100+ hours we spend in the world. Being fed what the world has to say.
Even our leaders in this new life are being fed the same, and are growing very slowly, so we grow very slowly.
If a baby is never talked to or allowed to stand and walk, then that baby never does any more than lay, roll over, and say a few words.
What makes you any different in this new life.
If you are never taught how to use a computer and you do not read the manual, what makes you think you can use it.
Your new life in Christ is the same, you need the manual (Bible). But that is the first step.
You need to pray, but you need to know that the word pray means to ask. So you need to learn to listen as well. How can you learn if you do not listen.
When you are reborn in Christ, you are able to start a life in the kingdom of God;

Luke 17:20
And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
Luke 17:21
Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
So now you know the kingdom of God is in you. Next you need to know what Christ is, Christ is a Greek word meaning, The Anointed One and His Anointing.

Luke 4:18
The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
Luke 4:19
To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

Isaiah 10:27
And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

Isaiah 61:1
The Spirit of the Lord GOD [is] upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to [them that are] bound;
Isaiah 61:2
To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

1 John 2:27
But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

John 14:26
But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

1 Corinthians 1:24
But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
Now you know that Christ is not the last name or title of Jesus, that it is the Spirit of God on and in man with the power and widom of God. And that it brings a better understanding of the kingdom of God. Let's see why we need to know all of this.

Hosea 4:6
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Revelation 1:6
And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him [be] glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

 So now we know, Jesus is The Word and Christ is the Spirit of God anointing us in His kingdom with power and wisdom, and we now know why it is important to know this, and that we are also taught of on high. How many of us are operating in this power and wisdom. Not many I hate to say. Why?
Because we have not understood the message Jesus came to give us. The message to prepare the way for the power and wisdom. And what was this message?

Luke 4:18
The Spirit of Lord [is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
Luke 4:19
To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

 That He (Jesus) came to preach Good News (gospel). What Good News? Prosperity to the poor, healing to the brokenhearted, deliverance to the captives, recovering of sight tot he blind, set at liberty them that are bruised.

What does all this mean? It means He (Jesus) was preaching (proclaiming) the kingdom of God at hand to man, if man wanted it. the poor are those in spirit, the brokenhearted are our spirits, deliverance is from sin and death, recovery of sight is our spiritual sight our insight into the kingdom of God. Set at liberty them that are bruised, is the chains of this world and it's system.

Jesus did not come teaching and preaching religion or enslaving us to a man of God to hear from God. Nor did He come to chain us to rituals. That ended with His death on the cross and our excepting His blood to cleanse us of this world and to be anew in the kingdom of God.
You have already seen above in John 14:26, I John 2:27 that we are to be that man (or woman of God). We are to hear, we are to follow and we are to do as instructed by God through His Spirit (Romans 8:16).

Now, I may have stepped on some toes about religion and rituals, let me step on some more. Church as it is called, is where we should come to uplift each other, edify and build up.

So what is church?
Matthew 16:15-18

Matthew 16:15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?


Matthew 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

Remember in our study on Christ, "Christ" is a Greek word, which in English means "The Anointed One" (Luke 4:18, Is 10:27) .

Matthew 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed [it] unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

Jesus told Peter here that he did not understand or come to know the Christ (The Anointed One) by mental knowledge, or being there with Jesus. It was revealed (a revelation) to him by God; so Peter had a revelation in his spirit.

Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Here is where Jesus named Simon as Peter and in Greek the word is Petros;

     Strong's Number: 4074-GSN

     Pronounced:      pet'-ros 

 
                      a primary word; a (piece of) rock (larger than 
                      3037 GSN); as a name, Petrus, an apostle: 
                      KJV--Peter, rock. Compare 2786 GSN.

As you notice it is a piece of the rock. Not the rock. Jesus is the cornerstone, but the rock is revelation knowledge from God via the spirit of who Jesus is as the Christ and Son of God.

Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

 The Greek word for rock here is petra;

Strong's Number: 4073-GSN 

 
     Transliterated:  petra 

 
     Pronounced:      pet'-ra 

 
                      feminine of the same as 4074 GSN; a (mass of) 
                      rock (literally or figuratively): KJV--rock.
Which as you can see is the rock.

So what is the rock (petra) Jesus is referring to? It is not Peter, because Peter is a piece of the rock. Jesus said, "upon this rock". Well, He was just talking about the revelation Peter had. So the church is built upon the revealed (revelation) knowledge from God of Jesus as the Christ and true Son of God.

So we are the church as far as the revealed knowledge goes, but we are not the church. The church is when we are connected to God through he spirit, and operating in the revealed knowledge of Christ.

So what is this all about, look at what God has been trying to do for centuries and you will know.
And to do this you have to look at the beginning. When Adam sinned, what happened was we all got cut off from God. And all God is trying to do is reunite us to and with Him.

Genesis 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day:

Genesis 5:23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
Genesis 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he [was] not; for God took him.

 In the beginning Adam and man walked with God, but as time went on and our enemy Satan did what he does, we got more and more cut off. Satan, is our enemy and he has had thousands of years to prepare for us and undermine our relations hip with God.
Even in the early days of the church Satan was cutting them off from God, how much more has he learned to do more to us after another two thousand years.

Acts 5:11 And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.
Acts 5:12 And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.
Acts 5:13 And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them.

Notice how fear came and then the people magnified the apostles and not God. Not only that, but how the people no longer join to the apostles. Need more proof?

1 Corinthians 1:11 For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them [which are of the house] of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.
1 Corinthians 1:12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.
1 Corinthians 1:13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?
1 Corinthians 1:14 I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius;
1 Corinthians 1:15 Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name.

 Now let's compare verse 12 to today;
1 Corinthians 1:12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Baptist; and I of Methodist; and I of Non Denomination; and I of Christ.

See, how even in the early church Satan got in and started separating the body. So if in the days with the apostles, the church could be divided and so many separated by Satan and his lies, how much more today. Two thousand years ago people went to church once a week gave there tithes and offerings. They heard from the man of God, read the scriptures and sacrificed.

I ask how different are we today from those before Christ under the law. Haven't we gained Grace, then why do we still operate as if we are under the law and not grace. I tell you it is because we hear more from the world and it's system (Satan) than from God.
What was the message of Jesus, that there was deliverance from the bondage of the law and the world. But have we taken it to heart and believed His (Jesus) message.

No, or we would not be in bondage today. And it is due to the fact we are not walking as one in the body of Christ and living according to our relationship with our Father in heaven.

Being saved and of Christ is not witnessing, attending church, reading the Bible, giving or sacrifice. But it is a relationship and of obedience to the voice of God. Remember that is what Adam forgot. Adam forgot to be obedient to the voice of God.

Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

 Start right now by listening and learning from the manual and out of your spirit from His Spirit what to do and how to do it and you will live the life Jesus died for you to have.

That was the message of Jesus, to be re connected to the Father in heaven and free of bondage.
