Are you called?

We all are called, but some choose to ignore the call on their lives. Not all are called to be a pastor, or evangelist, etc., but we all have a calling. Our calling first is to salvation.

Salvation is the soundness of our being, total wholeness in all areas, body, soul, and spirit. Are you whole if you are injured or sick? NO, of course not.

Isaiah 10

27. And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing

Luke 4

18. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Isaiah 53

5. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Are you whole or at peace if you are in debt or have lack? No!

John 3

2. I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

I could show even more scriptures, but I think it would be better for you to look them up and read for your self.

Some are called to the five fold ministry

Ephesians 4

11. And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

We are all called to be beacons of light in this dark world, ambassadors of Christ.

2 Corinthians 5

19. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

We are all called to pray, to pray for ourselves and others, to intercede for all.

We are also all called to give as the children of Israel gave in the wilderness to build the tent. We are called to make sure all have their needs met in the body of Christ. We are called to share with those who are in need. It is better to teach a person how to fish so they can have food every day than to just hand them a fish and give them one meal, but it is hard to learn anything when one is hungry. Take care of the life threatening needs, then give them tools to fend for themselves with God's help. We can all learn the ways of God and share them with others so we are all givers and the nations come to us.

Genesis 26

3. And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;

Galatians 3

28. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

So if you are of Christ, you are of the seed of Abraham, and being of that seed, you should be a blessing to all nations.

Deuteronomy 15

6. For the Lord thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee.

It is not a sin to teach prosperity; it is in the word.

3 John 1

2. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

We teach it so others can get a handle on it and that there will be plenty for all, not just ministries, but all of the body of Christ. And no lack in reaching out to the lost.

What are you called to do?

Pray about it, spending plenty of time listening to get God's word on it.
