Before you read this study understand that we do not teach, we share and then ask all who read the following take it to God and verify it with Him. We believe a lot of the world is misled by the church of the world and religion vs the one true church. And to know the truth can only come from knowing, not just knowing of God, John 14:26, I John 2:27, Rev 3:19-22.

Life, What is it Really?

This Bible study is less word driven and more comon sense, or what should be comon sense.

We get caught up in every day life. It can be very fast paced and hectic. Sometimes we do not know what day it is because they go by so fast. Until we slow down and see what God has for us we miss the whole point. We can even miss life and the next life this way.

Satan wants nothing more than for us to miss the next life with God and spend it with him in agony.

When you slow down and look or "smell the roses" as the saying goes, that is when we start to really see what it is all about and what life is for. Life is not to see who gets the most or has the best. It is not about a new car, house, furniture, clothes, etc.

Matthew 6

6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

6:22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

6:23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mamon. 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

6:26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

6:27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

6:28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

6:29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

6:30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

6:32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

We come into this life with nothing and leave with nothing.

If we believe in God we have to believe in His Word and therefore believe He will supply for us.

If you stop and watch a sunset, sunrise, a flower blooming, grass growing, you start to realize how fast life goes by and how we are missing it.

When I was young I wanted to live in the city and have the fast paced life of the city. As I grow older I want nothing to do with the city; I want the country.

Not to have it over anyone, but to enjoy the things God has given us to enjoy, nature, His Love, and His relationship just to mention a few.

Think about what life is.

In a few years that car you bought will not just be out of date but it will be worn out. Plus, you went in debt for it for 3-6 years or you spent the past few years saving for it. For what?

For a fleeting moment of satisfaction and a smaller moment of happiness.

Why?

Because that is the way everyone else does it, and that is how you have been taught.

The next time it rains go out in it and stand under it looking up enjoying the rain. Watch how the rain falls, and forms puddles, enjoy the rain.

The next time the sun is out and there are clouds watch them and see what designs you can find in them.

The next time it snows, watch the snow, see the white flakes fall and enjoy the forms they make. Go out and make a snowman or have a snow ball fight.

Watch the colors change for fall and spring, watch the snow melt off the mountain tops.

Do this as much as possible and see how much fun it really is and look at how much it costs you.

It is not the money, it never was, it can not make you happy. Maybe for a fleeting moment, but never for any real length of time. Happiness was always in you, not your pocket book. You take happiness with you where ever you go and you can share it with others as often as you like at no cost to you or them. Well there may be some cost; how about a longer life.

God did not tell Adam and Eve to go forth and work and build a life of concrete. He told them to go forth and multiply and be fruitful.

So go forth, enjoy what God has given you. Enjoy life. Find out what it really is. Take more time off to be with God. Enjoy all He has for you.
