God's Will

Jesus said:

Mark 3:35 For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother

So what is the true will of God?

Romans 8:26 And in like manner the Spirit also helpeth our infirmity: for we know not how to

pray as we ought; but the Spirit himself maketh intercession for [us] with groanings which cannot be uttered;

Romans 8:27 and he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he

maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

The will of God is that the Spirit help us and that we have one  Whom intercedes on our behalf.

Romans 12:2 And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

We are to show the will of God through us for others to see.

Ephesians 6:6 not in the way of eyeservice, as men-pleasers; but as servants of Christ, doing the

will of God from the heart;

The will of God is only done  via the heart or the Spirit.

1 Thessalonians 4:3 For this is the will of God, [even] your sanctification, that ye abstain from

fornication;

1 Thessalonians 4:4 that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in

sanctification and honor,

1 Thessalonians 4:5 not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who know not God;

1 Thessalonians 4:6 that no man transgress, and wrong his brother in the matter: because the Lord is an avenger in all these things, as also we forewarned you and testified.

1 Thessalonians 4:7 For God called us not for uncleanness, but in sanctification

1 Thessalonians 5:15 See that none render unto any one evil for evil; but always follow after that which is good, one toward another, and toward all.

1 Thessalonians 5:16 Rejoice always;

1 Thessalonians 5:17 pray without ceasing;

1 Thessalonians 5:18 in everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus to youward.

Keeping ourselves free of the lusts and pride of this world.

Hebrews 10:36 For ye have need of patience, that, having done the will of God, ye may receive the promise.

Those who do have the patience to do the will of God will receive the promise of God.

Matthew 22:34 But the Pharisees, when they heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence,

gathered themselves together.

Matthew 22:35 And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, trying him:

Matthew 22:36 Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?

Matthew 22:37 And he said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and

with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Matthew 22:38 This is the great and first commandment.

Matthew 22:39 And a second like [unto it] is this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

Matthew 22:40 On these two commandments the whole law hangeth, and the prophets.

The will of God is that we love Him and love each other, today we have allowed  to many things to come between us and Him.. Things such as  work, lust, even television, the internet, being to busy to spend time with Him because we are too busy working and playing.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever

believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.

The main difference between those who accept Jesus and those who do not is those who do have eternity at peace and in the love of God wanting for nothing.. Those who do not have the opposite.

Pure and simple God's will is that we all choose Jesus so we can have the peace and love vs. the other, He loves us and wants the best for us just as we do for our own children. But there is free will, freedom to choose, we raise our children hoping for the best but we cannot be there with them making their choices for them 24/7. So we hope for the best, but with God we can seek His guidance 24/7, yes our children can seek our guidance but we are not as easy to access at times as God is..
