Our Ethiopian representative for H.O.M.E. is a traveling evangelist and speaks out to large groups of people everywhere he goes. He is a voice for Christ in a poverty stricken, war torn, predominantly Muslim country.

In addition to all this he is gainfully employed in the computer department of a government utility, has two sons, and has adopted additional children of family members who had no one to support them. He was formally educated in England and is hoping his older son Eyuel will be able to continue his education abroad also.

Zed has a real heart for taking the message of Christ to the people of his native Ethiopia. He has expressed a need to minister to a particular group that suffers greatly due neglect. Those are the homeless widows you see everywhere, especially in the capital city of Addis Ababa. They have no way to provide for their own basic needs and there is no government agency for them to turn to for help.

Zed is a very busy man with a lot of family living in his house, but no wife. He is praying the Lord will bring him together with a like-minded Christian woman to love, be his helpmate, and be mother to the children. Please pray for him, his family, and the work he is doing for the Kingdom of God.

All blessings be to you from our heavenly father.

Really, thanks a lot for your support. This year as I told you my plan is to reach professionals and managers on Decision making, change management, project management, and Performance management in relation to His kingdom. These days I more realized that most secular knowledge is customized from Bible. For the realization of this, materials that you plan to send me help me a lot.

Last Wednesday, I called a national meeting and the workshop was wonderful. Two papers were presented and thousands of participants make their decision to fully participate in the election process. By the way I am a member of the American Presidential Prayer Group and Voice of the Prisoners Group. If you want I can forward you their address. As a Christian I am praying for Bush because he plays a prominent role to save the life of many Christians where the death umbrella was over them. If America didn't fight Taliban, can you imagine what was our fate? Praise God. God uses him as his instrument. That is why I am praying more for Bush.

Now I will have a panel discussion in the western part of Ethiopia at Nekemte Town, Assosa town, Ambo town, and Kamashi town. I am discussing with Ethiopian Evangelical Christians through out the country. I have a vision to bring a difference in the country. Because of this I will organize and send relevant documents for the web after two weeks.

Really God bless you for everything what you are doing for His kingdom through HOME. HOME must become a global blessing.

Dearest She'di,

All greetings in the name of Lord Jesus! How are you doing with in this year? How is life and ministry?

Here everything is fine and we are working well. As you know currently I am a chairperson for Ethiopian Evangelical Christian Workers. Yesterday I called a national conference to discuss on national issues especially on May election of House of representatives and federation of representatives. Now I am struggling a lot and teaching through out the country to let Christians to participate in election. The response from the society is very interesting. As John Knox asked God to give Him Scotland I am asking God to give us Ethiopia. From time to time Muslims are working hard and building hundreds of mosques with in the last 10 years. The far implication is dangerous unless we aware ahead of time. Any way Thanks God people are aware to fight a good fight.

Shedi, now I left government organizations and joined international NGO, Food for Hungry International, as a Human Resource and IT Director. God gave me his open door to minister the country and the region. If I can I will send you the conference video.

Shedi, thanks a lot for your good wish and kindness. I received the mail from post office and I was very happy. I showed my kids and they were also very happy. Eyuel will finish his study this year and will be joining the university preparatory program. He wants to study Hardware engineering if possible in USA otherwise in Ethiopia. I am praying that God will help him and me. Though I don't know the way to find there are many Ethiopians who sent their children to USA by getting scholarship. If you know, I am very happy to get information from you. Since currently I am teaching throughout the country I am badly in need of LCD projector and Laptop. If the ministry can please discuss with Pastor Jerry and if possible you can send me. If the ministry can't afford please don't worry. This month I bought a 162 Square meter land for 80,000 Birr and I don't have to buy these materials. The other thing that I am asking you is to get the CD for John C. Maxwell Leadership training. Last week I thought for 20 hours leaders from Full Gospel Believers Church Theological colleges.

Shedi, I am praying for wife. I lived for the last ten years which was a very difficult time with out mate, but by the help and grace of God I keep my holiness.
My children are somewhat grown. Please pray for me to get a wonderful gift and helper from God.

How are Mom and Jesse? How about Tom, Erika, Brent, Dad, etc.

If God's will we will see each other either in Ethiopian or USA. Till then I wish you a happy and prosperous year.

Dearest She-di',

Greetings from Ethiopia. May the Lord's grace and peace be with you.

How are you doing? I am fine and doing well. Now I am in northern part of Ethiopia. I am sure by around June 10 I will be in Addis. Our organization, Food for the Hungry International, has branch offices in Northern, Eastern, Southern and Western extremes of the country. As an assistant Human Resource Management and IT director I am visiting and giving services.

Last time you wrote me that there will be annual meeting in Houston, during July. Anyway please inform me about the progress.

When I am in Addis I will write you.

Greetings in the Almighty name of Lord Jesus!

It is a long time to hear from you. Last time I wrote you to install SKYPE to freely talk online.

Today I want to share you my joy. Eyuel has successfully passed the Ethiopian School leaving certificate exam with a 4.0 GPA. Tomorrow he will join the School of Tomorrow to begin his college preparatory class. Really thanks a lot She-di' for your encouragement. Eyuel has gotten over inertia from your advice. God bless you indeed!

Dearest She'di,

Greetings from Ethiopia to you and all yours in the name of Lord Jesus! Thanks a lot She'di. It is very terrible for Texas people, especially to those who live around the coast. Now I am working in International organization. We have a relief department and we are praying for US. We are praying daily for God's intervention. The world is worrying by so many conditions. Famine and civil war in Africa, Fire and Terrorism in Middle East and Europe, flood and forest fire in Far East and Australia, Hurricane in America, etc. These conditions become global conditions, which is an alert to Christians to pray a lot to evangelize the world. Individually everybody is worrying. Here in Ethiopia people are worrying. Last June when people demonstrated the government forces shot dead about 40. The people are afraid of the government forces. The flood is very serious. While we are suffering because of drought, when the rain comes it is followed by the flood and kills people and animals. The other thing that makes me worry in Ethiopia is that the donkey killed his owner. The lions and tigers are killing people by running in to the village from their forest. Every time I heard different amazing information from the media. As the word of God warned us we must pray a lot to rescue the generation. The problem in America is the whole world problem. Many poor countries are living by the help of generous Americans. Many millions are living in USA that will be affected by the problem. In our 24-hour prayer we are praying as well. Let us keep in touch. I will write you every time. I know God will rescue the people. God has infinite number of ways to solve the problem. Let Him use any one method, but we want relief from this devastating condition. As you said we want a blessed rain and favorite condition. We want neither the flood nor the wind. The one who created the heaven and the earth, which rebuke the wind is the same to do that in our time. Let judgement word come from Jesus. From this time onward let the people get relief and peace.

Dearest She'di,

Greetings in the name of Lord Jesus! She'di, how is life after the wind and rain? How are Houston and all the people there? I am sure you saw God's mercy to His people. He is the God of all creatures. He is the only one to rebuke all natural forces. Praise Almighty God for His wonderful grace.

I will write you more when I have time my dearest sister. These days I am extremely busy. After a month I will present my annual report and will ask the General assembly of Ethiopian Evangelical Christians to elect another president. I have finished my term. Even I don't want to be elected for another term because there are so many outstanding issues in my hand, on my way, and in the country. Please pray for the nation. The country is under a great tension. The people are even afraid of the government forces. The opposition party leaders are so strong. The government doesn't accept what they are saying. Any way we are praying for God's intervention. That is why I am highly tensioned by so many critical issues.

By the way Eyuel has successfully passed the entrance exam for School of Tomorrow, an American school. He joined that school and is beginning his Social science study. He wants to be an Economist or Information Science professional. Let God's will help and lead him to his destiny. Both family members greet all of you.
